The SpaceThe 'Little Nature Queen' house is a rare accommodation that allows you to get a more genuine Jamaican experience, and is the antithesis of an all-inclusive resort stay. The cozy traditional Caribbean wood cottage is set in a picturesque sea-side community in the countryside of Jamaica. Famous for having the island's best jerk-food vendors, the area also boasts stunning, untouched natural beauty. Dramatic cliff-side coastline, mountain views, mineral water lagoons (ie the famous, 'Blue Lagoon'), crystal-clear aqua-marine ocean and gorgeous white sand beaches. Nestled near one of these beaches, set back from the main road and surrounded by lush greenery sits the charming, 'Likkle Nature Queen' house. The wood-plank house breathes life and allows you to get in touch with yourself, your loved ones, and nature! The land it rests on is unspoiled by hotels, resorts, and other big business; and is made up of century-old forest, farmland, and only a few other modest homes. This newly built home is modeled after one built nearly a century ago. True to its historical design, the home features its kitchen on the outside of the house (in a covered area), yet is updated with a modern restroom on the inside. The shower at the Likkle Nature Queen is of course located under a tree. :)
Designed to provide a vintage-Jamaica like experience, this home is equipped with cozy oil-lamps, as well as solar-electricity. The AC-free house set in sunny Jamaica stays cool, light, and airy with equal thanks to its traditional architectural design, as well as the cool ocean breeze blowing through giant 4X4 ft windows. Lush greenery are your surroundings.. as well as an ocean view from the top of the half-acre property. Organic veggies & fruits grow in the garden. Guest AccessDirect nature and ocean access.
10-minute nature walk to a beautiful white-sand beach. At the beach you will find bamboo-hut bars and restaurants serving up things such as cold Red Stripe beers and hot craw-fish soup.
Horse-back riding & quad (four-wheeler) access available at additional charge ~ Inquire if interested! Interaction with GuestsThe house is a private rental suitable for self-sufficient, independent travelers. The owners do not live on the property. However, we are happy to cater to your needs if you express them ahead of time. (ie: meals & Jamaican-cooking lessons, surf lessons & board rental, tours, transport..) The NeighborhoodThe Likkle Nature Queen house is set on the outskirts of Boston Bay-- a quaint beach town famous for having the islands best jerk vendors. The bay is also known as the it-spot for surfing in Jamaica. The community is safe at all hours and criminal acts are very uncommon.
Getting AroundThe main road can be reached within a five minute walk from the house. There you can find roadside bars and restaurants, a nearby playing field (where locals play football), a community center, supermarket, locally-made arts and crafts, farmers market, and passing taxi-cabs, readily available.
