We are offering an incredible opportunity stay in our home located in historic Whittier, one of Boulder's most lovely, desirable neighborhoods. Our lovingly restored and expanded Victorian is on a quiet street, just a few blocks from awesome parks, pools, hiking & biking trails, and all the great shops & cafes of famous Pearl Street. Whole Foods, Target, and the 29th Street Mall are simply minutes away by bike or car. Richard Freeman's famed Yoga Workshop is only 3 blocks from our house.
Since we have young kids, our house is designed perfectly for families. The master and 2 kids' rooms are all on the second floor. The home features high-end appliances, modern yet period-style fixtures, handmade Persian rugs, and gorgeous, radiant heat wood floors. The spa-inspired master bathroom features wall to wall Carrera marble, a Victoria & Albert claw foot 2-person soaking tub, open shower, and dual granite topped sinks. With vaulted ceilings, private deck and Flatiron views, the master bedroom is very relaxing. Nothing like gazing out to Chautauqua while still in your bed! Antique furnishings complement the solid wood king size sleigh bed, which is topped with a fantastic Tempurpedic mattress. The other three bedrooms are as follows: one antique cast-iron and brass full size bed, one full size antique cherry sleigh bed, and one queen in the guest room on the first floor.
For guests who need more space, we also have a private studio apartment with a queen that is separate from the house.
The home is stocked with everything for your daily needs, including a large capacity Samsung front loading washer/dryer, an Asko dishwasher and a Dacor dual oven, 6 burner gas stove. Cook outside on our gas grill. The finished basement is a nice hideaway, with its own full bath, flat screen TV, and huge & comfy couch. For the kids, we provide toys, coloring supplies, and books. There is a Land of Nod play table with seating for 4. Listen to your favorite music throughout the house on our fabulous SONOS system.
Our lovely sunroom opens up to a covered porch, with a dining area suitable for 6-8. Its wide steps lead gracefully down to a large fenced-in yard. Relax in the professionally maintained dual-jetted hot tub or watch the kids play from the patio. They will love the vintage tree house and Little Tikes double slide play structure.
Our apartment happens to be located within walking distance of some of Boulder's best venues for shopping, eating and drinking.
