The SpaceHouse is a ranch style home with a fully finished basement (where the guest bedroom is located). It is also only a 10 minute drive to downtown Littleton, 5 minute drive to nearest light rail station, or 20 minute drive to Red Rocks! House is fully renovated and has a great homey feeling.The house has a great relaxing backyard if you just want to kick back and relax. Guest AccessYou will be provided a private bedroom in the renovated basement with a bathroom. The bed in the room is a full bed so it is possible for two people to stay. You are also more than welcome to enjoy the backyard, dining room, living room, and kitchen for personal use. Interaction with GuestsWe both work Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, but are more than happy to talk and provide any recommendations or information surrounding the area. We enjoy getting to know new people and would love to hear your story! We like to stay busy so if we aren't at work or the house we may be out doing our own Colorado exploring. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is mostly quite. We live near the end of a cul-de-sac so there is minimal traffic. Getting AroundShort drive to the nearest light rail station, Platte River bike trail, or downtown Littleton. Also, plenty of places within biking distance if you prefer to travel without a car. Other Things to NoteJoel plays in a band and has a music room set up in the basement which is next to the guest bedroom. His band practices at the house about one evening a week from 6pm-9pm. We also have one dog who loves to run and play, but might take a minute to warm up to you once you are welcomed into our home.

The SpaceThe house has an open floor plan downstairs with the kitchen overlooking the main room with a fireplace and TV, dining area, and then there's a sauna and piano in the den, an office stocked with booze and aviation handbooks, a run of the mill bathroom and laundry room. A covered patio with separate dining and conversation area is just outside the main room and opens to a park-like backyard with a few levels and a shed stocked with all the typical yard toys. Dog doors connect the outside to the laundry room, and to the garage. Upstairs the master suite is to the right, then to the hall on the left there are three other bedrooms and a full bathroom with dual sinks and a tiled full bathtub/shower. You can see Pikes Peak mountain from the octagon window in the hallway, and I always smile a little to myself when I remember to look for it. I'm working on my green thumb and in the winter I have to bring the patio greenery inside to enjoy until spring. Plants are pretty much everywhere. Oh, and I love music. I stream it nearly all the time, and I don't mind if you do too as long as you have good taste. Bluetooth speakers are in almost all the rooms. If you prefer TV, all the sets are SmartTVs and come pre-loaded with Pandora, Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime accounts and catch over the air programming for all the basics. I think you can use the internet from them, but I never try. Go ahead! The basement isn't finished, so half of it is storage and the other half is where I like to workout. There's a Bowflex and rower, stationary bike, ab machine, and Treadclimber, all positioned around a setup with AppleTV. The workout space is not fancy, but it works for me. It can get noisy so let me know if it's too much. Guest AccessClosed doors are typically all that I ask for boundaries and we can make that work. I am pretty open with my space, but the master closet would be private. I'll share a key with you that opens the main front door and that's really all you need. (All bedrooms and bathrooms have locking doorknobs.) Interaction with GuestsMy schedule is pretty flexible and if I don't have plans already I'm happy to point you in the right direction and have a ton of great ideas! I live like a tourist in my own town and love it! Or if you prefer to be alone, I do too, sometimes. Just let me know that you enjoy being solo and that's completely fine! But say so, don't make me guess! The NeighborhoodThis neighborhood is fantastic if you like amazing views from above the city and enjoy walking around. You can see the symmetrically balanced Denver city skyline from the hill a block away and the open space park is always full of friendly people walking dogs or looping around the paths for fitness. It's a neat place! And there are local restaurants within a minute drive or easy bike ride or walk. But if you borrow a bike plan on that hill coming home. At elevation. It's a doozy. Grocery stores and chain restaurants are just past the local spots, and on the main streets. Its easy to find whatever you're looking for! Getting AroundThe light rail station is within 5 minutes and super easy to get to with plenty of parking. Also Hampden (285) is even closer, and so is Sante Fe (85). All of these connect to the main highways, making navigation simple and fast! The driveway has three car parking spots, or in front of the house on the street is fine too. Plenty of room! (My truck and motorcycle are in the garage, which I can share if that's important.) Other Things to NoteDOG. There's a nutty mutt that lives in this house. Mostly outside but when she's well behaved its fine for her to come in. Moxie has a dog door to the laundry room and another to the garage, but I don't let her have free reign inside the house unattended. She likes the attention she gets when she grabs baseball caps, so beware. And gloves. Maybe shoes. She's a typical young dog. Loves cuddles and walks in the park nearby and might come when called, but might not. KID. I also have a 8 year old son and he's around mostly on school days. We co-parent and his dad lives just a few blocks away, so if you prefer to avoid young people just let me know and I'll make plans. Otherwise he's a cool person and I'd like to think if we weren't family that we would be friends. NEIGHBORS. We're also lucky enough to have some of the best neighbors that like to occasionally stop by for wine and games. Or they can stay at their place and enjoy them there. Again, your call! They're nice.

The SpaceMid-Century modern home has a large master suite with private patio, covered parking space, large 5 piece bathroom, huge closet, covered parking, king bed, good light and a ceiling fan to rent. Tip: if you do not like to rise early, please bring an eye mask to block out light. There is a sound machine in the room to provide white noise . Guest AccessWifi, kitchen, powder room, deck and living room. Basically the entire main floor. Feel free to use the refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle , stove & oven. Interaction with GuestsI am unaware of my schedule many times. If you'd like, I will be glad to meet you at check in. I have a keypad on the front door and will provide a code for you to enter at your convenience. The NeighborhoodI am 1.5 miles from the downtown Littleton light rail so I don't have to drive. Downtown Littleton is quaint , has a great theater , shops & retardants. In the summer they have a 1st Friday art walk the 1st Friday of the month. I am 19 minutes from downtown Denver. There is a track across the street of you like to run or you can head up the hill and walk through one of Denver's nicest lakeside neighborhoods . Two grocery stores and a Costco are close by as well as two 18 hole golf courses. Littleton Golf & Tennis Club and BrokenTee . I'm minutes from a fabulous bike path that will take you south to Chatfield State Park ( 20 minutes by car) where boating, hiking, stand up paddle boarding etc... or north to downtown Denver . Breckenridge Brewery which has a great restaurant and brewery tours is also on the bike path or a short drive away. Aspen Grove is an outdoor mall that boasts an Apple Store, Banana Republic, Pottery Barn, Joseph Banks and more. Getting AroundVery convenient public transportation nearby Other Things to NoteI have an English Bulldog that is two years old. There is a lot of morning light in the room so if you plan on sleeping in a night shade is recommended. A sound machine. The home has an evaporative cooler not a/c.

We are all about Adventure Vehicles but understand sometimes you need a spot closer to the city where you can plug in to the electric grid and have consistent WiFi. We are close to Denver but in a quiet neighborhood with a huge relaxing backyard. 24 Feet is the absolute max and you would have to be phenomenal at backing in. 20ish feet will allow for movement around your vehicle. **Note this listing does not include a bed this is a parking sport for those who are sleeping in their vehicle

The SpaceYou will have the entire property to relax and roam. There is plenty of off-street parking in a large driveway/parking area in front of the home. The house has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a library/game room, living room, dining room and kitchen. In addition, there is a small utility room which is where the "modern conveniences" (microwave, coffeemaker, toaster) are located. The home was built in 1953, and was occupied by the original owners until recently. Because of this, almost all of the furnishings and décor is original and vintage, giving a relaxed, "staying-at-Grandma's" type of ambience. The bathroom includes toilet, sink, and shower/bath with rails for those that might need assistance. The bedroom has a double bed with a tempur-pedic mattress. Additional guests can use the queen-size sofa bed which is located in the living room and/or the couch in the game room. Small but full kitchen which includes, dishes, glasses, pots, utensils. You are welcome to use spices, vinegars, olive oil, flour, salt, pepper, coffee and tea that are part of the kitchen. Feel free to cook, barbecue---please make yourself at home! We will provide you with muffins, Danish or doughnuts daily. Depending on your mood and the weather, you can dine in the kitchen (2 people), the dining room (up to 6), or outdoors on the patio (chairs for 4). There is a charcoal grill and tools available for your use. The rear of the house opens up to a mini-park-like setting; lots of varieties of trees, flowers and bushes. Also, lots of bunnies, squirrels and different birds (blue jays, hawks, mourning doves) call the ranch home. The patio is the perfect place to have your morning coffee or evening cocktails! As a guest you will have complete privacy, as we do not live on site. We are about five minutes away and of course can be reached by either phone or text. We love to interact with our guests and share tips on things to do and places to go, but certainly are mindful and respect those that enjoy their privacy. Guest AccessGuests have access to all rooms in the main house and grounds on the property. Although they are attached to the house via the breezeway, our office and garage is not accessible to the guests. The NeighborhoodThis quiet neighborhood is a mixture of old and new houses and residents. Our friends that owned the house would tell how Bowles was a dirt road and Grant Ranch was a ranch! That said, things sure have changed! Even though the closest neighbors aren't that close in proximity, they all are nice, friendly people. Within about a five mile radius, there are brew pubs, wineries, shopping, restaurants, parks, golfing, lakes--- you name it! In the home, you will find that we have compiled a book of our local favorite spots to include recommendations and menus for your review. Getting AroundFeel like venturing out a little further? The RTD bus stop is at the end of the driveway, and the light rail station is only two miles away. Either form of transportation will take you wherever you might like to go---downtown Denver, sports arenas, museums, restaurants and DIA. The foothills are minutes away and are the gateway to Red Rocks, Bandimere Speedway, gambling (Central City & Blackhawk), and all forms of mountain activities in the Rockies. Renting a car is simple, or we can hook you up with Uber. In addition, Doug is an Uber driver and he can take you wherever you would like to go. **Skiers, boarders--- ask us about special rates for transportation to and from the slopes for a day of skiing!** Other Things to NoteIn keeping with the 50's theme, please be advised that there is not a television in the home. We do however, have WiFi and will provide you with a password so that you can access your emails, etc. Although we do have a modern-style refrigerator, stove and dishwasher in the kitchen, there is no garbage disposal. We will provide you with bags and a place to dispose of your food scraps. We love this place and hope you will too. That said please respect the space and care for it as if it were your own. Please observe quiet time from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We have a no smoking policy that includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes and cannabis, both in the house and on the grounds outside.

    If you are looking for a place to slow down, unwind and relax, come stay at the "Bligh Ranch". This is a cozy, charming ranch-style home, built in the 50's that sits on 3.5 acres in Littleton, Colorado. With comfortable, mid-century style and décor, you'll feel yourself transported to the slower paced 1950's; a place to truly recharge! You will have the entire property to relax and roam. There is plenty of off-street parking in a large driveway/parking area in front of the home. The house has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a library/game room, living room, dining room and kitchen. As a bonus, there is a covered patio where you can enjoy morning coffee in the quiet, park-like setting. The home was built in 1953, and was occupied by the original owners until recently.
