The SpacePrivate bedroom(s) in designer built home with 14" ceilings. Outdoor spa. Polished wooden floors. Tranquil and quiet, super clean and modern - while also retaining some rustic charm. Share with owner (if he's there) or another lovely guest couple. An Oasis from a busy life. Come relax and enjoy! Our lane is the most prestigious in East Bowral, located on a ridge line, and commanding some long distance views of the gorgeous Southern Highland countryside. The private lane is well away from noise, allowing you an oasis of peace and tranquillity from your busy life. Very well presented and fitted out, this home is a joy to live in. An unusual open design wraps around the living room, and together with very high ceilings, you are surrounded by a spacious, appealing environment, free of clutter and well appointed. This guest bedroom is the second private bedroom in the house, apart from the owners master bedroom - sharing with myself and my son, and another lovely guest. It has a queen bed. Guests share guest bathroom - with fab claw foot bath and separate shower. I'm often away, so at times this second bedroom listing may be the master bedroom (See my other listing for whole home for pics). When I am here I may have two children, but am often working quietly in the other side of the home. The guest room and bathroom is reasonably well segregated on one side of the house. I don't often use the dining or living room so much, so you can claim that space most of the time and choose what you want to watch or otherwise relax in relative comfort and reasonable privacy. Double lock up garage. Come enjoy a quiet getaway in the Southern Highlands. Guest AccessMain living, dining and kitchen areas sharing with me, and outdoor space, including spa. Everything except the other bedrooms. Bathroom may be shared with other guests, but has claw foot bath and shower. Lovely. You are welcome to use the owner's bathroom as well though. Interaction with GuestsHappy to meet and chat, but not always here. I'm a published author, commando, investigator, and spend a lot of time travelling. I'm happy to advise local attractions and give advice. The NeighborhoodQuiet. Family friendly, but also perfect for a couples retreat. The lane has little traffic and is almost a dead end cul-de-sac. It's flat, and perfect for kids to ride safely down the lane to the nearby nature walk. Go find the hidden wombat sculpture, or carry on right up the clearly marked bush track, up to a fantastic lookout. East Bowral park is not far, as are many nature trails. A dedicated bike track is also nearby, taking you right into town, ending up at the Cherry Tree Lane park. In summer we have Bowral pool, and others nearby. Illawarra Fly attraction is nearby in Robertson, which is also lovely. Famous pie shop. Make sure you visit historic Berrima, and browse the pottery shop and other quaint places. The Highlands also has a vibrant cycling community who warmly welcome you. Try riding through the misty hills at 5:30am, and watch the sunrise, then back for coffee with your travel companions - magic. Getting AroundBus stop: 3 min walk.
