The SpaceOur guest room is cosy and warm in winter and airy and bright in summer.
There is a comfortable single bed complete with a new medium-firm memory foam mattress and duvet. Overlooking the back garden, the room has been recently decorated in a fresh coastal theme.
It has a new flat screen TV, chest of drawers, desk and chair, as well as drink-making facilities and toiletries.
We supply bath and hand towels and there is space to hang your clothes and store bags etc. This room is at the back of the house with minimal street noise, and we have also fitted a black-out blind to make the room darker.
You are welcome to relax in the living room or use the kitchen for making a drink or snack.

On street parking. Interaction with GuestsIf you prefer to have time to yourself that is fine with us. If you like to chat that is also fine with us. If you have funny or interesting stories to tell I am sure we will have some in return!
We have a lot of local knowledge so ask us about the area, sight-seeing, best places to eat out or visit.

Bradley Stoke in South Gloucestershire is a located on the outskirts of Bristol. It is just a short distance from beautiful and unspoilt villages and countryside. There are lovely walks and cycle routes to explore.
It is an ideal base for visiting the West County, Cotswolds, South Wales and the historic cities of Bristol, Gloucester and Bath.
There is a supermarket, cafe and post office within a 2 minute walk.
For the business traveller, all the local offices in Aztec West and Bradley Stoke are within walking distance. As there is usually a queue of traffic during rush hour, walking is the perfect, hassle-free option!
BAe is a short bus ride.
A leisure centre, shops and a library are approx half a mile away.
The Mall and Cribbs Causeway shopping centres are 10 minutes drive, as is the Severn Bridge which takes you into South Wales.
Bristol is just 8 miles away. Getting AroundPlenty of on-street parking near to the house.
There is a bus stop a couple of minutes walk from the house. Buses are frequent and reasonably priced. Depending on which service you use you can be in Bristol within approx half an hour.
Motorway links - M4 & M5 - are very close by.
Parkway train station is approx 2 miles away. Depending on the time of day we may be able to arrange to pick you up. We charge £7. A taxi is usually £10, but there are also buses readily available.
Bristol airport is 40 minutes from Bradley Stoke (traffic permitting).
The beautiful city of Bath is also within easy reach. Other Things to NoteThis is a family home. We are not noisy but we can be a little bit untidy!
Arrival/departure times - Due to work commitments, please allow for some flexibility in the mornings and evenings.
Similarly, if I can't answer your email or text straightaway this will be due to circumstances outside of my control. Please don't think I am ignoring you!
I can arrange to wash and iron clothes for an extra cost.
Breakfast - I will provide tea or coffee, along with cereal/toast.
If you enjoy fresh, home-cooked food, I prepare a filling and tasty dinner for my family every evening. If you would also like a meal I can provide one for a small extra cost - £6. I can cater for most diets.
We also like to grow some of our own fruit and vegetables in summer.
Parkway train station - Depending on the time, it may be possible to arrange a pick up/drop off. I charge £7 each way.
If you are driving there is plenty of on street parking.
We have rabbits that live outside as well as a small dog. She is non-moulting so should be fine with anyone who suffers from pet hair allergies, and is also very quiet.
