The SpaceMy wife and I are very happy that you are considering staying with us. The Nest is just 6 miles from downtown Brenham and 17 miles from Round Top and Marburger Farms. The Nest is the cutest little guest cottage in Washington County. The restored 1940s motor court lodge has been styled by nationally known interior designer Holly Mathis. The Nest is a stand alone three room cottage that includes a queen sized bed and cable television with DVD player. The bath features a tub and shower combo and soft terry robes. The Nest is also equipped with a small kitchenette that includes a full coffee and tea bar plus a microwave. The refrigerator will be stocked with soft drinks and bottled water. Breakfast includes pastries, yogurt and fresh fruit. The NeighborhoodWhile in Brenham, be sure to check out the Unity Theatre, Blue Bell Creameries, The Antique Rose Emporium and tons of shopping on the charming downtown square.

The SpaceEnjoy the comfort, peace and privacy of our two bedroom en suite bathroom attic space in our two hundred yr old restored victorian. The whole upstairs is yours, but feel free to use the kitchen and dining room as if it were your home. The house is furnished with antiques and heir looms and all the convieniences of home. We are situated just off main street in historic Chappell Hill tx, excellent location for festivals, bird watching, shopping in Brenham, lavender farm and many other country pursuits. Qween bed and double bed in the rooms, private bathroom. The price is for two guests sharing a room, however should you wish to add a guest for $20 per night please let me know after you have booked. Historic Holle House is a luxury vacation rental which offers 2200 square feet of living area, all for your use. It is located on a beautiful half acre in a quiet residential neighborhood that is only blocks from downtown Brenham and all of it's charming shops and venues. It has huge wrap around porches, with comfortable rockers, porch swings, tables and chairs, perfect for a relaxing visit with family and friends. The home was built in 1910 and has unique architectural features, along with original light fixtures and fireplace. It also offers all the modern amenities of today, including a full size gas range, stainless fridge with icemaker and filtered water, full size washer and dryer, central air and heat, FREE Wi-Fi, cable television and blue-ray/DVD player. There are one and a half bathrooms. The full bath has a beautiful marble vanity and combo bath/shower. The half bath has a toilet and sink and is conveniently located between two bedrooms. There is additional space upstairs which includes another three rooms with five more beds, another full bath and another full kitchen for an additional fee of $150 per night, plus tax. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal if you wish, including china and crystal. It is also stocked with paper goods and plastic ware, for a quick and easy meal. A full breakfast is included with your stay. Come and stay at Historic Holle House... You'll be glad you did!

Guest AccessIn addition to the bedroom shown in the photos guests have access to shared living/dining space, kitchen and laundry facilities. Plenty of parking in the garage. Interaction with GuestsI will be onsite during your stay and look forward to getting acquainted with you! I can offer toast and coffee or tea in the morning and you are free to bring food items to make your own lunch or dinner. I have an extra fridge in the garage and all manner of kitchen gadgets for you to use. The NeighborhoodLocated halfway between Austin and Houston off highway 290 just outside of Brenham, Texas. Excellent location if you are planning to visit Roundtop or Warrenton. Getting AroundMy property is located 18 miles from Warrenton and 11 miles from Brenham where you will find restaurants and groceries, etc. The only cafe in Burton is open on a schedule known only to them. You WILL need a car to get around here. Other Things to NoteBe sure your vehicles have clearance so you can make it up the driveway. Pickup or SUV is optimum. A normal sedan is fine so long as it isn't a loaded down and you take it slow up the driveway. IMPORTANT: this is the real country! There are ants & bees, snakes & frogs, skunks & possums and all manner of flying, creeping and crawly things that live outside around the house. I respect nature and like to live-and-let-live as much as possible. If these things creep you out this might not be the best choice for your accommodations.

The SpaceLarge lovely bedroom, queen bed with brand new gel mattress. Love seat, rocker and dresser as well. Board games and books! Private bath. Sleeps 2, with possibility for 4. Large flat screen tv. Coffee maker provided if you like, as well as bottled water. You have a private entrance to come and go at your leisure. We do have pets that access this room when unoccupied, so if you have allergies, this may not be the place for you. Look for us on that OTHER site at Snook House B and B. Guest AccessYou will have access to your suite only, along with the deck and grounds. There is no access allowed to the rest of the house. There is plenty of patio furniture on the deck for lounging and relaxing. We have an above ground pool that you are welcome to use in season. There is uncovered parking. We can tell you how to get around Bryan/College Station, TAMU campus, Brenham or farther out of town. We are fairly well-traveled and we have been in this area for 35 years. We live in this home, and are there when you need us, or not! Look us up on that OTHER site at Snook House B and B. The NeighborhoodWe are located in the country on acreage. The law is our closest neighbor; therefore we have a quiet (from people noise!), safe neighborhood. There are convenience stores, gas, grocery stores, and restaurants within 6 miles. We can tell you exactly how to get there. Sit out on the deck and listen to the elk bugling from the exotics ranch across the way, take a walk down the country lane and pet the donkeys, watch the birds at my feeders and RELAX! Getting AroundThere is no public transportation. We are in a very rural area. We can assist you with drop off/pick up on game days for a small fee. You will need your own vehicle for any other explorations. We are about 20 miles from Easterwood Airport and a rental car facility. There are stores/ restaurants within 6 miles. Other Things to NoteWe are conveniently located a little over an hour from Houston, less than two hours from Austin, and just a little farther to San Antonio. We are 22 miles from the "new" Kyle Field, magnificent Texas A&M University and the George HW Bush Presidential Library. Spend game weekends or parents weekends with us out of the crush! We are 5 miles from Lake Somerville, an excellent recreational area. Come visit us anytime!

The SpaceDrive down a rural graveled country road to this secluded and remodeled 2-bedroom fully furnished cottage with 2 full baths and fully functional kitchen, including washer and dryer. Both baths remodeled with walk-in showers; one bathroom has a large soaker tub. Working fireplace in large living room. Front porch swings/gliders and outside deck provide excellent views of the surrounding countryside. Extra linens and towels are provided. Kitchen is supplied with all cookware and utensils, electric stove, and refrigerator. Large dining table can accommodate 6 guests; additional table off living room sits 4. One flat screen TV in living room with local access only; no cable, no satellite. Sorry but there is no onsite WIFI. All internet access is by your personal smart phone. Reception by all major carriers available. Pets are considered but a non-refundable pet fee of $25/pet applies. Pet fee is to be paid separately to owner once reservation is confirmed. Please insure all pets are vaccinated and properly secured when leaving the property for short durations. Pets are not allowed on the furniture so please bring pet beds or pillows. Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire house and development. Key location will be included in house information provided approximately 2-3 weeks prior to arrival. Interaction with GuestsOwners live on the adjacent property and are available for assistance but in general do not interact with guests. The NeighborhoodHouse is situated in a private rural development approximately 5 minutes from downtown Chappell Hill. Access is by a graveled country road. Guest are free to walk the gravel roads and observe the neighboring animals. Getting AroundCovered parking for 2 cars is provided. Hwy 290 is approximately 2 miles from the property which provides access to Houston and Austin, and anywhere in between, such as Round Top or Washington-on-the-Brazos. Bryan/College Station approximately 45 minutes away. A notebook will be provided with a listing of shopping, restaurants, and other activities. Other Things to NoteGuests must provide their own food and special toiletries. Basic toiletries provided for 2-3 night stay. Guest may either bring their own food items or eat at one of the many restaurants in Chappell HIll or Brenham. Information package available at the house on all activities and eating establishments. With owner pre-approval guests may bring one golf cart or ATV to ride the gravel roads but must adhere to strict rules regarding riding etiquette. The rental rate includes all applicable Texas sales and occupancy taxes.

It also offers free Wi-Fi, cable television, bicycles, BluRay/DVD player and a selection of movies. The living room is huge and has original bookcases, fireplace, beamed ceiling and light fixtures. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal, including a stocked spice cabinet. It also offers the convenience of paper goods and plastic ware. There is a dishwasher as well as full size washer and dryer. The stainless fridge has icemaker and filtered water. Bottled water is also provided along with a full breakfast, which is left stocked in your kitchen. You can enjoy the backyard while relaxing on the large deck under the pergola. A gas grill is also available for guests' enjoyment. The large covered front porch wraps around to the side with a street view. Come experience historical Washington County, the Birthplace of Texas, along with the picturesque town of Brenham. Brenham has several nice parks and Washington on the Brazos State Park is also close by. Round Top, Warrenton and Bellville are all about a 20-30 minute drive, dependent upon traffic. A visitor guide will be available for all guests as well. Washington County offers lots of activities throughout the year such as Maifest, the Scarecrow Festival, the Bluebonnet Festival, the County Fair, Blue Bell ice cream and much more!

      The Carriage House was built in 1925 and has had updating and restoration done throughout the years. The main area has a king sized bed, eating area, kitchen, couch and chairs, TV and a fireplace. This lower level has a full bath with a claw foot tub. It also has an enclosed private patio area. Going up two steps is a small room with two twin beds and a full bath with a shower. There's a pool many outdoor amenities - an outdoor kitchen, bathroom, hot tub, fire pit and lush green grounds that is very private and secluded.
