The SpaceThis recently renovated rustic-modern gem in the Oak Hill area is ready for company! When you've had your fill of the action, retreat to this beautiful oasis in the woods.
Enjoy watching wildlife (or TV) in the fabulous great room with 15 ft windows, the spacious patio, “guest desk" in the office, laundry room, Netflix, and Wifi. The awesome new kitchen with limestone counters begs you to whip up a quick meal, but you might leave a little jealous of my indoor grill ;-) You'll feel like you're in the Smokies on the patio with a fire going.
If you are wondering how this house only has one bedroom, it actually has three. One is the master and the other is an art studio. You will not have access to either one, so consider this the largest one-bedroom pad in town! Your room has two twin beds, a desk/dresser combo, and a nice closet. Guest AccessThe house is just south of the city center less than 10 minutes from the hip 12South district, Lipscomb University, and Maryland Farms offices, 15 minutes to the downtown honkytonks, the Gulch, Vandy/Belmont and East Nashville, and 20 minutes to the airport. Interaction with GuestsYou are not likely to see me. The NeighborhoodOne block from beautiful Radnor Lake State Natural Area, I share this very private acre+ lot with deer, turkeys, owls, and foxes. You'll quickly understand why the Governor's Mansion, Reese Witherspoon, Tommy Shaw, Ronnie Millsaps and Martina McBride all call this neighborhood home. (And if you are a fan of the show Nashville, Juliette Barnes' house is just up the street!) Getting AroundRental car or taxi/uber are your best bet for getting around. Other Things to NotePoundcake, an indoor/outdoor cat, lives on the premises. He has his own bachelor pad with a door to outside so he comes and goes as he pleases. He is an experienced snuggler and rather chatty, but if you don't want him in the house, just keep the door from his room into the house shut. I will ask you to throw a little food in his bowl every day (unless you want the petsitter stopping by). He looks forward to your visit ;-)
