The SpaceAbout the House:
This is a 6 bedroom house in Pleasantville, a beautiful town in Westchester County - one of the most affluent counties in the country. The house is full of windows, has a porch in the front, and deck in the back. It sits on the top of a hill off the main road. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, and the living room as they see fit.
About the Main Guest Room:
The bedroom has a beautiful brand new queen sized bed and dresser. There are two large windows giving the space plenty of light. There's also a fan, large mirror and plenty of closet space for your things. If you would like to rent our second room please ask. It has a twin bed and accommodates one guest. It is directly next to the other guest room. This would be booked at an additional charge.
Down the hall is a very large bathroom. When you enter there are two sinks, to the right is a separate shower-room and to the left is the toilet. It's very easy for multiple people to get ready in the morning. When you come, you will have the bathroom to yourself.

About Us: This is a family home. My mom lives here with one of my sisters. There used to be all 4 sisters living here but we all grew up and out and now it is fairly vacant. When you stay here, you will meet my mom and sister who are extremely accommodating. Guest AccessYou get keys to the house and if you're coming by car you can also park in the driveway. One of our cars may be available upon request and if you are willing to pay an extra fee. Interaction with GuestsAs little or much as you want! Our family has lived here for 30 years and if you'd like some more ideas on what you can do, feel free to ask! My mom and sister live in the house and have their own separate rooms. They are super loving and friendly and will make sure you are comfortable and that you enjoy your stay. The NeighborhoodWe are located just 5-10m walking distance to EVERYTHING! ... Pace University is down the block! There's hiking, biking, restaurants, bars, entertainment, and of course NYC (45min train).
Such a great place for a getaway from NYC or other places! Pleasantville attracts people from all over Westchester and outside areas for several reasons. It is home to the famous Jacob Burns Film Center which shows plenty of independent films.
Since we are located near Pace University so if you are visiting the school this house is perfect. You can walk down the block - less than 5 minutes.
There are plenty of restaurants, bars and activities. One of the famous restaurants in our area is Blue Hill Stone Barns (a farm to table restaurant about 10 min away.)
We have the largest Farmer's Market in town every Saturday. And only 10 min away (by car) is Rockwood Park and Rockefeller Park --both are beautiful and located right on the Hudson River. They are great for walking or hiking trails.
Also less than 10 minutes is a huge bike path that goes up and down the Hudson. Ask us to borrow a bike!
If going to New York City is too far but you'd like to get out, White Plains is a 15 minute train ride and has great night life, food and entertainment as well. Getting AroundNOTE: HPN is Westchester airport and is only a 15minute ride to our house.
The house is only a 5 min walk to the train and to the central part of town, we can also provide bikes upon request. You can also order a car rental to be delivered to the house if you like. Or park in the driveway. If you want to head to NYC, get on the train and it's only 45m, or drive and it's about 35-50m depending on where in the city you are looking to go.
We also have bikes available for use!! Other Things to NoteWe have a dog who is very friendly. She stays in the kitchen. My mom is very mindful about not having her all around the house so that everything stays clean and dog-hair less :)
