The SpacePlease think of this as your home! The room is newly painted with a double bed. The floor is laminate and there are two large windows. In the bathroom is a large shelving area above the toilet and another behind the wooden door. You will find extra towels, bedsheets and blankets in this cupboard. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask. The toilet paper is found beneath the sink along with some bathroom cleaner. (for long term guests) Guest AccessPlease think of this as your home. The kitchen, and all the gadgets... if you can't find something you need please ask. (except a dishwasher)...sorry! The family shower/bath is shared, you will have a drawer for your bathing essentials, although you may leave them in the bath, There is a washer and dryer you may use, kindly bring your own detergent. Use of the deck and patio including the grill. There is a lovely path through the woods to the train tracks, if you go out the back gate you will see the path to your left at the end of the grassy area. Interaction with GuestsI am usually home to answer any of your questions about the area. Peter is home at 3:30, he is more familiar with the area than I am. (he grew up here). I may defer you to him if you have a question I cannot answer. We are happy to converse with you about your day, what you planned to do here, and where you live, we are always curious, but respectful of those that prefer privacy. The NeighborhoodThis is a very quiet neighborhood. Our neighbors are friendly and a wealth of knowledge! The homes around us are well kept and peaceful (most of the time, it is quiet except for the laughter and playing of the neighborhood children). Getting AroundDriving is always a choice, but I would suggest taking the commuter rail if you plan to visit Boston. The parking in Boston can be difficult to come by. There is a bus to Brockton from the BSU campus. There is a taxi company I have the number on the refrigerator along with other local information. The commuter rail is 2 miles away on the campus of BSU. There are town cars available as well. We would be happy to give you directions to the malls, restaurants and local shopping. Other Things to NoteWe realize that not everyone is a "dog person" the dogs can be kept away from you if requested.

There will be closed doors marking our private home which we ask you to respect. Interaction with GuestsWe will be available by text or call or even knocking on the "private" door. We can chat or make available information/guidebooks for any day-trips you may want to consider. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood has many stately homes that are now mixed use. Our tree-lined street has sidewalks on both sides and many people walk or jog it regularly. The Bridgewater Common is a 5 minute walk away. Getting AroundBridgewater State University is a short 10 minute walk from our home. The MBTA station is adjacent to the campus. Getting onto Route 24 is direct and simple from here.
