The SpaceThe size of this 2 storey home with views, makes this an ideal accommodation for up to 14 people (if the Retreat is booked as well), in 4 queen size bed bedrooms and one large 2 double bunks with single bed bedroom. There is also a fold up bed if necessary, stored in the built in cupboard in Bedroom 2, downstairs. Guests will have access to the 2 main ground floor queen size bedrooms and upstairs queen size bedroom and separate 2 double bunks with single bed bedroom. The separate rentable downstairs "The Retreat" contains queen size bedroom and single bed, is also available for an extra fee per night of $99 or weekly basis of $495. No interaction by the owner with guests. Guests are left to enjoy themselves independently of the owner. We have a quiet neighbourhood of professional people, so we do ask our guests to assimilate and enjoy the beautiful surrounds, views, walks, and fresh sweet mountain air. No pets permitted. No smoking inside holiday home or The Retreat. The nearest bus transport is a short walk away on the nearby highway. Or you can phone and arrange for a local taxi, if required. Please bring your own food, bed linen, blankets, and towels. You can also hire these, but you will need to let us know in advance of your arrival. Our home is furbished with furniture and the basics of kitchen cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, glasses, cups and mugs. You will need to also bring personal needs such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and other bathroom needs. Guest Access4 bed 3 bathrooms, Flat TV, fridge/freezer, oven, hotplates, microwave, split A/C, fireplace, auto washing machine, dryer, BBQ, external and internal dining areas. The SpaceBaba's Cottage offers comfortable accommodation within 10 min stroll into bright centre. The Cottage features 2 main bedrooms with queen beds each with BIR and heating. The cozy living area has a split system heating/air conditioning, comfortable couches to allow relaxation as does the Television/DVD player. Kitchen has standard cooking facilities, with microwave & electric stove, fridge, coffee machine, toaster, jug etc. Dining table & 4 chairs. Plus bathroom and laundry facilities. Enjoy spectacular views from the side and back veranda, as you unwind and soak up the serenity while your furry friend can enjoy the well fenced back yard. Baba's Cottage is situated in a quiet court off Churchill Avenue. Just a minute walk to Bennetts walk along Morses Creek. Where you can either follow the track into town or take a bike towards Wandiligong, throw in a line to fish or find yourself a great swimming hole to take a dip. The Alpine regions of Mt Buffalo, Mt Hotham, Falls Creek are just a short drive away. In town you will be entertained with boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and markets. Spring and Autumn festivals, fishing, cycling, swimming, horse riding, skiing, Para gliding, bush walking and much more at your door step. Base rate of $180 based on 4 people. The SpaceOur 3 bedroom stone construction 'Bright House' has recently been renovated to a high standard. The flooring throughout is either timber or tiles making it easy to keep clean. The bedroom setup is - Main bedroom 1 x super king bed or split to be 2 x king singles (prior notification needed to split). Second bedroom Queen bed. Third bedroom 2 x sets of bunks (4 beds). The beds are all brand new with fresh linen and towels supplied. A large TV allows for easy viewing when not out exploring the local area. A full kitchen for those that wish to cook with a barbecue on the back deck. Outside decking and front garden are fenced for the safety of children or pets. Guest AccessThe access to town is a short walk of approx 800m via the road, Rail Trail or the river walk. Seperate driveway to the right hand side of the house will direct you straight to the cosy little cottage. Trev and Barb Interaction with GuestsUsually just upon check in and check out unless other requests during your stay. We can provide Continental breakfast upon request. Our guests just want to be left alone or they head out to the snowfields or day trips to the mountains etc... The NeighborhoodThe people are lovely, the wildlife and nature surrounds you. We usually head down the local pub on a Friday night for a couple of quiet beers. Getting AroundLocal taxis are available. Ask Barb or Trev for other local transport or requests during your stay. Other Things to NoteIt can get quite cool during the evenings, make sure you have rugged up when you head out. We do have a BBQ onsite under the Gazebo next to the cottage. Just let us know uf you need a BBQ pack (Charged extra)

The SpacePlease inquire about availability before booking. Except during the ski season we do accept single night bookings but recommend a minimum of a 2 night stay which is substantially cheaper per night. We have many multi night discounts for our self-catering accommodation which the Airbnb system cannot display. Because of the distance from capital cities the mid-week price assumes a 2 night stay. Longer stays will be less per night and single nights are available at a higher rate. The discount for 4 night mid-week and one week bookings ranges from 16% to 23% compared to single night rate. There is a powerful split system in the living areas for fast heating and cooling, centrally controlled heaters in each bedroom and ceiling fans in every room. Skiers have two drying cabinets with rack for ski boots above and this whole area becomes an effective drying room. The ski racks on the back porch double as racks for fishing rods the rest of the year. There is also a fish cleaning table next to the gully trap. Cyclists will appreciate the floor pump and secure under cover area in the garage to store and maintain bikes. Walkers and golfers can use the rear porch to store their equipment. The large bed rooms and well thought out layout with a bathroom plus a separate toilet and separate shower ensures the house is comfortable for a weekend of activities for up to 10 guests and very comfortable for 8 guests for longer stays. Each bedroom has a dressing table, hair dryer and TV. The layout can be ideal for three couples or two families, family with grandparents sharing, or a mix of singles and couples. However for 7 months of the year in economy season it can be more economical than a motel or holiday park with as few as 3 guests. You will not find annoying scatter cushions all over the place to give "the look". You will find really comfortable beds and lounge seating for 10, and many little things to add to your convenience. Such as undercover parking for three cars and an entrance car port to make unpacking in the dark and the wet so much easier, automatic arrival lighting and touch lamps to avoid searching for unfamiliar switches, towel hanging space with heated rail, set top box with time shift and recording functions, indoor/outdoor thermometer, illuminated house number to find us in the dark and free internet. There are two family size fridges to cater for larger groups, a microwave as well as a full stove and a washing machine. Guest AccessWithin 12 hours of finalising a booking at Kiewa View through Airbnb guests will receive a confirmation email forwarded through the Airbnb system. This personalised confirmation from Kiewa View will include the code to access the house at whatever time you arrive and the mobile number of our caretaker located near-by who is on standby to deal with any issues on arrival. The Airbnb email forwarding system is not 100% reliable! If you do not receive these details within 12 hours please follow up by messaging us immediately. The north facing sun deck is an ideal spot for a late breakfast or a relaxing drink after a days activities. The shaded garden and pergola is a pleasant spot on a hot day. Guests have access to wired broadband connection and are provided with the WiFi password. An anchor point is provided in the garage for cyclists to chain their bikes to. Interaction with GuestsWe have a local caretaker who is available by phone to address guest concerns and problems. Free local calls are provided. Our website has our own guides, maps and recommendations for skiing, road cycling, mountain biking, walking, touring and winery visits. Mountain bikers are provided with a password to download ride guides. On finalising their booking we provide guests with our suggestions on how to get the most out of Kiewa View facilities and how to to make your stay most comfortable particularly for larger groups. Guests can also download a document summarizing instructions on operating all facilities and appliances to save time on arrival. The NeighborhoodFor a weekend of skiing at Falls Creek, Kiewa View can be a more convenient location than on-mountain. We explain why on our website under activity information. Mount Beauty is an ideal base for road cycling scenic rides and challenging climbs. For mountain bikers Mount Beauty is an unique location. There are mountain bike parks at both Mount Beauty and Falls Creek. On hot and muggy summer days Falls Creek and the Bogong High Plains are a great alternative. Mountain biking varies from easy family rides to challenging. Mount Beauty is a great location for a walk up Victoria's highest mountain or a drive to Australia's highest drivable point Mt McKay. Mount Beauty has a very scenic golf course and the area is popular for fishing. Getting AroundArriving by car is the most pragmatic alternative. There is a bus service to Mount Beauty from Melbourne and Wangratta. There is also a bus between Mount Beauty and Falls Creek during the ski season. However travel by car is usually more economical and convenient. Daily travel to Falls Creek is very convenient with three day car parks each convenient to access chairlifts often easier for families than ski-in, ski-out. The alpine loop is an 240km self drive tour across the roof of Victoria from Mount Beauty. Other Things to NoteThe more guests the more enjoyment and lower the cost per person. At Kiewa View we do not charge more for additional guests. The longer you stay the lower the cost per night. Feel free to invite friends and relatives even if for only for part of your stay.

The SpaceThis lovely house is centrally located in Mt Beauty on Lakeside Ave & has just been fully refurbished with new flooring, kitchen, bathroom, paint, etc. The 2 bedrooms sleep 5 people plus a study that has an extra 2 beds allowing for a total of 7 people. The first bedroom has a comfy queen bed and in the second there is a trio bunk that has a double bed on the bottom with a brand new pillow topper, and a single bed on the top. There is a brand new luxury bathroom plus a second toilet off the fully equipped laundry. The kitchen has everything you need with twin fridge & freezer, electric stove, microwave convection oven, dish washer and more, plus all the pots pans crockery cutlery and utensils you could possibly need for 6-7 people. This house has reverse cycle air conditioning for heating and cooling so you will be toasty and warm in winter and lovely and cool in summer. With the lake just across the street providing great views and a lovely afternoon breeze that picks up most afternoons in summer there is also a great play ground the kids will love. The yard has a new garden and plenty of space for parking in the long driveway accessed from Roper Street. There is a BBQ in the back yard and a cute little outdoor setting to enjoy the summer evening barbie or two and the corner location ensures that there are not too many neighbors close by but plenty of extra parking on the nature strip. Guest AccessFull access to the house and everything in it and the large yard with herbs etc in the garden that you can help yourself to depending on the time of the year. The garden sheds are locked and off limits. Interaction with GuestsTo arrange check in a quick phone call on the arrival day is required and again to arrange check out however apart from that you are on your own with the peace of mind that I am close by if needed. The NeighborhoodThis lovely house is centrally located in Mount Beauty on Lakeside Avenue only 5 minutes walk from the main street with the lake just across the street providing great views and a lovely afternoon breeze that picks up most afternoons in summer. There is also a great play ground area the kids will love and the footy ground and BMX track are close by too. The airport is 5 minutes walk away and the mountain bike park is a 5 minute ride away. The yard has a new garden with herbs and vegies to enjoy and plenty of space for parking in the driveway & the corner location ensures that there are not too many neighbors close by but plenty of extra parking on the nature strip. Getting AroundThere is a bus stop across the street for the Monday - Friday Coach service to Albury Wodonga. The walking/cycling tracks and foot paths take you anywhere you want to go and there is very easy street access via Lakeside Avenue and Roper Street.

    The SpaceThe Beaut-Tee Spot is a charming house situated in a great location in the alpine heartland of Mount Beauty. The house has three spacious bedrooms, an updated kitchen, wood heater in lounge area plus a fantastic al fresco entertaining area The house has three spacious bedrooms, a queen bed in "The Green Room", a double bed in the "The Blue Room" and two double bed/ single bed bunk combinations, plus DVD player and TV (great for the kids) in "The Bunk Room". The lounge room has a wood heater, plus split system heater / aircon (ancient but works!) A large flat screen TV, DVD player and extensive DVD library, plus a handy coffee table that is great for games. There is also a poker table available if requested. The kitchen has been updated and has everything you need for gourmet cooks, we even keep a selection of spices and herbs on hand for guests to use. If you are staying in the winter months we recommend you use the slow cooker, pop on your meal before heading out and come home to a cooked dinner. There is a BBQ available for use, plus an awesome outdoor patio perfect for al fresco entertaining. Tea and Coffee making facilities provided The house is located on the Mount Beauty golf course and has direct access to this fantastic country course, play 18 holes with the kangaroos with views framed by snow capped peaks! Bogong Alpine Village just a short drive away and roughly half way in between Mt Beauty and Falls Creek is a lovely little holiday village. Like Mount Beauty it has its own pondage for fishing and boating. It also has a number of beautiful picnic grounds and walks. Being at the base of Falls Creek, Australia 's premier alpine village for the ski and snowboard enthusiasts and in summer you can enjoy bushwalking while taking in the views of the Kiewa Valley. We are just 300m to a brand new playground in the Alpine Park and 100m opposite Morses Creek. Our cottage gardens include the oldest and largest Elm tree in the area along with many varieties of roses and annuals. Hire of mountain bikes can be arranged for those wanting to explore the area up close. The NeighborhoodWhat to do in Bright/Wandiligong Numerous cafes, vineyards, restaurants, breweries to self indulge. Many berry, nut, Alpaca, Trout and Deer farms to visit. Museum and art galleries for the artists to take in.     The SpaceThe guesthouse, La Petite Barn, is very cosy and our guests fall in love with it. It is well separated from the main house, La Grande Barn, and has no facing windows towards the main house or shared walls with the main house. Guests need to understand that they may be sharing the property with the guests of La Grande Barn if it is booked at the same time. Occasionally we offer guests of the main house an additional accommodation to extend their group called Studio Cecile. Studio Cecile is located in the same building, on the ground floor and has a private entrance. Studio Cecile is suitable for 2 adults guests and may, by special arrangement, be added to a La Petite Barn booking as well, further costs apply. La Petite Barn is located on the first floor and has a separate entrance. The only part of the property that is shared with the main house is the carpark. La Petite Barn does not have BBQ facilities. The terrace space in front of the main house with the BBQ and seating for 6 is for the main house guests only. Additional child guests may be accommodated in a trundle bed in the main bedroom in La Petite Barn by special arrangement, further costs apply. All bookings come with full linen no extra charge. Parents may use our portacott and change table but they need to bring their own baby linen. With north facing, yang views of the Alpine mountains to the front of the 17 acre property and yin views south to the Victorian State Forest, La Petite Barn guesthouse is the perfectly balanced country retreat. The NeighborhoodLa Petite Barn guesthouse is part of the Bright Barn Retreat property and has access to 17 acres of private property with kangaroos and other Australian wildlife. It is located on the largest property in the centre of the beautiful township of Bright, a 10 minute walk to our front gate and then a 5 minute walk to the clock tower in the centre of town, along a lighted pedestrian pathway. Bright is a very sporty town with paragliding, mountain bike riding, swimming in the river in summer, bush walking, fishing nearby, and lots of little speciality shops to explore with a variety of good restaurants. The famous Rail Trail goes past the entrance to the property, our location is superb. Getting AroundMost guests like to walk into town as we are so close. We also have a generous car park so parking is easy on the property and also in Bright township. We are a country property so our driveway is unpaved. We recommend people bringing low riding sports cars should park at the bottom of the property and walk up, or book else where. Other Things to NoteWe have fantastic bike riding in the area and an onsite cubby house, swings and sandpit for the kids to enjoy. The cubby house and swings area is shared with guests of the main house. Although La Petite Barn is set up mainly for 2 adults we can make up a trundle bed for a third guest, usually a child. The guesthouse is generous in size and guests fall in love with its country timber decor and fantastic views.
