It has large windows to make the rooms bright and sunny but has high end wooden blinds if privacy is desired. Watch fantastic sunsets over the Rocky Mountains from the breakfast room, patio and West windows. There is plenty of air conditioning for the warmer summer months. The large formal dining table would allow you to entertain guests or enjoy an exquisite meal. The light fixtures in the formal dining, breakfast room and kitchen bar are upgraded to very nice Italian light fixtures.
The kitchen is a cook’s dream with granitite counter tops, Kitchen Aid Gas stove and oven, Kitchen Aid Double sided Refrigerator and Kitchen Aid microwave. The kitchen is supplied with all the cookware and utensils a great chef would need. Bring your recipes and your imagination to prepare delicious meals at your getaway home! Any spices and food items left in the pantry are available for your use. There are lots of dishes, glassware, mugs and flatware. There is a Kitchen Aid dishwasher for fast and easy cleanup afterwards.
The living room has a large, 42” flat screen HD TV. Directv satellite which also has the ESPN and HBO movie package is available for an extra fee. The living room also has comfortable couches, recliners and a gas fireplace for those cozy winter nights. There is high-speed internet and WI-FI.
The master bedroom is very large ( 16' X 28' ) with a king size bed and a 32” flat screen HD TV. Also, the master bedroom has a large executive desk if you need to do some work.
The second bedroom has a king size bed and the third bedroom has a full size bed.
The two bathrooms are stocked with large towels, plenty of hot water and high water pressure for a great shower experience. We have a water softener that is wonderful for your skin and hair. The toilets, showers, sinks, tubs, etc. are sanitized after every stay. The sheets, towels and all linens are washed and fresh for your stay. For longer stays, our housekeeping is available to clean the home at extra cost.
There is a full-size washer and dryer for your laundry needs. Laundry detergent is provided for you.
The home has a large back yard, a back patio-perfect for relaxing in the professionally landscaped back yard. The gas grill can be used to prepare your favorite BBQ while enjoying the backyard.
There is a single car garage available to park your vehicle out of the weather and secure. You don’t have to park on a busy street and or clean the snow off your car in the winter. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is an upscale planned community with parks and greenbelts for pleasant walks. With more than 150 acres of parks, 10 miles of trails, and 170 acres of open space throughout Reunion, you can imagine the opportunities for recreation. The crown-jewel is the 52-acre Reunion Park, offering trails, lakes, waterfalls, multi-use athletic fields, and some of the most magnificent views of Longs Peak. Overlooking the east end of the park is an amphitheater and picnic hub. If you’re interested in seeing more of Reunion by foot, walking paths encircle eight acres of lakes and picturesque waterfalls. Getting AroundOur home is a 10 minute walk to public transportation furnished by Denver RTD.
Our home is perfectly situated near Denver International Airport, I-76 Corridor, I-25, E-470 and Highway 85 North. It is 5 minute drive to King Soopers Market Center, Starbucks, McDonalds, several fast food chains, 15 minutes to Prairie Center Shopping, 20 minutes to Platte Valley Medical Center, 20 minutes to Denver International Airport, 30 minutes to Northfield Shopping Center, 45 minutes to Cherry Creek Shopping Center, 45 minutes to Downtown Denver, 50 minutes to Boulder, 1 hour to the gambling cities of Blackhawk/Central City and 2 hours to Breckenridge to ski! You can travel almost anywhere quickly and even take a drive to the beautiful Rocky Mountains and then return home for a quiet relaxing evening.
One of the World's Largest Carnivore Sanctuary - With More Than 400 Rescued Lions, Tigers, Bears, Wolves And Other Large Carnivores Living And Roaming Freely On 720 Acres is only a 40 minute drive from our home. It is definitely a highlight for most kids. Their website is (URL HIDDEN)
Another point of interest would be the Rocky Mountain Arsenal/National Wildlife Refuge. It is about 20 minutes away from our house. You might see amazing bald eagles, buffalo, elk & prairie dogs along the way as you drive by or walk the pathways. There is a small museum on site.
