        Escape to Seal Rock for a relaxing and fun-filled experience. Enjoy nature at its very best. Our home (3080 square feet) is two-story with the first floor wheelchair accessible and includes a large gourmet kitchen with double oven and island, and a more than ample dining room with table seating for 14, large living room. The main floor bedroom has your choice of a king-sized bed or two extra-long twin sized beds, and wheel chair accessible shower. The second floor offers the master bedroom with king-sized bed and large master bathroom that includes a 3-person jetted tub and separate walk-in shower. Three more bedrooms on the second floor have your choice of king-sized beds or two extra-long twin size beds (make your request with Tammy the owner). The second bathroom on that floor has a walk-in shower as well. There is also a recreational room on the second floor. This beautiful property (1.91 acres) backs the Olympic National Forest and offers 135' of low bank waterfront (easy access to the beach); a view of Hood Canal, Dabob Bay, and Mt. Rainier; a new 6-person jetted spa on the patio; two large water and mountain view decks; fire pit (which is wheelchair accessible) and a gas barbecue for your grilling pleasure. Patio furniture and firewood provided. Wading and playing in the water along with walking the beach is a favorite activity. Low tide provides oyster gathering, and crabbing in-season is available in front of our home. A boat is available for your use along with boots, life jackets, and much more. Beautifully and newly remodeled, our home is ready for your vacation enjoyment.

        The SpaceThe kitchen includes a breakfast bar and dining area. It opens into the dining room and living room where we promise you will never get tired of the incredible view of the water. Sunrises are gorgeous and sitting out on one of the two oversized decks at night looking at the full moon’s reflection on the water is a great way to relax at the end of your day. The living room has a fireplace and plenty of space for family gatherings and activities. Downstairs in the first floor is a ping pong table, air hockey, 2 person shooting basketball game, Gamecube, darts, and kids can have their own space for games, and plenty of room to store your fishing poles, crab trap or treasures you find on the beach. Our kitchen is fully stocked and our dining area with a table that seats six, or enjoy eating outside on one of our two decks while enjoying the view. If you prefer to not cook, The Halfway House nearby is famous for excellent home cooking and homemade pies. Esquire magazine recently chose the nearby Geoduck Restaurant and Tavern #2 for “Best Bar in America,” and Pleasant Harbor Marina, just up the road, offers superb pizza and sandwiches. The home offers four bedrooms, two upstairs and one on the main floor, and two full baths. One bedroom has a Queen-sized bed with night tables, a dresser and closet. Another has two bunk beds and a closet, the third has a queen bed and armoire, the fourth bedroom has a full size bed. Bring your fishing poles and check out the many rivers that flow into Hood Canal. Nearby Dosewallips State Park, with acres of clams and oysters and geoduck, is also a great place to beach comb at low tide. Brinnon is a hiker’s paradise and there are spectacular trails and breathtaking waterfalls in Brinnon or in the nearby Olympic National Park. Or check out the great mountain biking trails. Divers can see several species of rockfish, octopus and all sorts of crabs in one of the best diving locations in the Northwest, and diving gear can be rented close by. A little further down the road is Mount Walker. A short drive up the mountain at the scenic view area, you will be blown away by the spectacular views of the Olympic Mountain range and turn your head back east and see the City of Seattle skyline. According to our guests, our house on the edge of the Olympic National Park is an ideal location as a base for their adventures to explore the park. Olympic National Park covers 922,651 acres of three distinct habitat zones, the alpine region, the coastline and the temperate rain forest. At 1,441 square miles, the park is larger than Rhode Island(1,214 square miles). A little further down the road is Mount Walker. A short drive up the mountain at the scenic view area, you will be blown away by the spectacular views of the Olympic Mountain range and turn your head back east and see the City of Seattle skyline. The second bathroom on that floor has a walk-in shower as well. There is also a recreational room on the second floor. This beautiful property (1.91 acres) backs the Olympic National Forest and offers 135' of low bank waterfront (easy access to the beach); a view of Hood Canal, Dabob Bay, and Mt. There is an upstairs with 2 beds (Full and twin) and a bath and a downstairs with .5 bath, bunk beds, a king and a queen size bed. The NeighborhoodBrinnon is the nearest city. And it isn't much of a city. It has a small grocery store and a few restaurants. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation, so having a car is crucial. The nearest town and grocery store is 15-20 minutes away, so please keep that in mind when you are looking for food. Other Things to NoteThere is no regular trash pick up at this location, so please take your trash out with you.

Guest AccessYou'll have access to the full house, the master suite, two bedrooms downstairs and the upstairs sleeping area, living and dining rooms and shore line access for scuba diving or kayaking. Harvesting, fishing, collecting or removing anything from our tidelands is NOT PERMITTED. Take only photos and memories. Leave all oysters, clams, shells and driftwood on the shore. Note: The propane tank below the Jenn-Aire grill is turned off when not in use. Before starting the grill, open the two cabinet doors, pull out the drawer on which the propane bottle rests and open the valve on top of the tank. All four igniters should work. When you've cleaned the grill surface after cooking, please close the tank valve. Interaction with GuestsI might drop in to visit on Saturday to make sure you've found everything you need. I'll try to be available by phone if you have a question. Other Things to NoteThe house is within the Waketickeh Marine Conservation Area just south of Mike's Beach Resort. The just-remodeled home boasts an amazing 2,830 square feet of beautifully appointed living that can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests. The master bedroom stretches across the entire top floor of the home in a loft style. Additionally, we have outfitted the main floor with an upgraded queen-sized sleeper sofa, and we offer a folding-style crib for those traveling with little ones. We also offer a second waterfront five bedroom home in Brinnon. That new home is called Seal Rock and is three miles away from Nature's Paradise. The home sleeps 14 people comfortably in beds and is 3080 square feet. The dining room table seats 14 with 18 matching chairs. The Seal Rock home is modeled after Nature's Paradise in amenities. Hiking trails start at you doorway. Elk walk past on their way to the valley on a daily basis. Mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, and fishing are but moments away. The sleeping loft has two double beds and a foldout couch. enjoy one of the most beautiful spots in Washington state. Hillside has an abundance of back berries, huckleberries, and others to nibble on as you enjoy your time away from it.           Our family Beach House is located on the western shore of Hood Canal. The surrounding waters of Hood Canal leave all those that venture here, mesmerized with fabulous memories of those visits. Experience the majestic views of Hood Canal, Mount Rainier and the fabulous snow-capped Olympic Mountains. Fresh Seafood including; oysters, clams, shrimp and crab, and salmon bring thousands of visitors to Hood Canal Annually. The Olympic Peninsula is the place to enjoy hiking, biking, bird watching and strolling the beaches just to name a few. The house includes fully equipped; kitchens stocked with cooks tools, coffee pot and microwave. Bed and bath linens are provided. We hire local Professional Cleaning Services to clean all of our homes to the standards of a first class hotel and per the State Guidelines. Our cleaners take pride in their work to assure your stay will beat your expectations. Our Vacation Home are an easy commute from Seattle, two hours from the Bainbridge ferry or about one hour from the Kingston ferry. We welcome you to stay and hope we can share the value we have experienced here over many years. There are two public boat launches near by, Both Pleasent Harbor Marina (3 miles north and better of the two) and Triton Cove (10 miles south) are free and operated by Washington State Parks and can be found online.
