The SpaceThe Lake Grange is a unique home surrounded by woods and overlooking a small lake/wetlands area with beautiful gardens and extensive patio areas. We are located in the heart of Amish country, near Notre Dame, Goshen College and Bonneyville Mill, a large county park with an operating 100 year old grain mill. We have a large screened-in-porch that is a wonderful place to sit, read, listen to music or take an afternoon nap. In the winter the area is great for cross country skiing. The bedroom area is on a seperate floor with a private bath. Guests will have access to the kitchen, coffee and tea. The house was designed and re-invented by an artist and brick mason. Many of the interior rennovation projects utlitlized salvaged materials - slate from an old patio, beaded cealing boards from the Grange Hall coat rooms, and antique marble sinks. Come stay with us and enjoy the world around our home. We have another room available for friends and families traveling together who don't mind sharing a bathroom with friends. The additional room is $65. A few of our favorite places and day trips around the area. Within 5 miles Kayaking and canoeing the Elkhart River, St. Joe and tributaries Hike or bike through Historic Bonneyville Mill County Park 7 miles of hiking trails and over 5 miles of bike trails. Hike or bike the Pumpkin Vine trail 25 miles of trails connecting Shipshewana, Middlebury, Goshen and Elkhart (URL HIDDEN) 10 - 15 miles Goshen – a great old courthouse, farmer’s market, terrific bookstore and good places to eat Shipshewana the Shipshewana flea Market listed in 1000 things to see before you die 30 – 40 miles South Bend- Notre Dame of course, The Indiana Whiskey Company to name a couple of places Winona Lake a quaint little town on a lake recently updated with interesting little shops and very green--great walking, biking and eating. (URL HIDDEN) Approximately 60 New Buffalo on Lake Michigan is 60 miles from Bristol from there visit the charming lake towns of, Lakeside, Union Pier, Harbert and Sawyer and hike through beautiful Warren Woods, an old growth forest and then cool down at Warren Dunes State Park. Or you could go the opposite direction and visit the Indiana Dunes. If you have time you might want to stop in Three Oaks—fun shops, Journeymen Distillery and if there in the evening a great little theater and old time movie house. We have all kinds of birds- even Sandhill Cranes. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation.

We have a large swimming area, lake is a fresh spring fead, with wonderful fishing. It's an all sports lake. We are only 27 miles from Notre Dame Stadium, great house for football weekends. The NeighborhoodBeautiful Lake View, our house is nestled in hills and trees for a perfect peaceful retreat. Getting AroundThere is delicious little town restaurant and bars. Our house is in walking distance to cafe, pub, and grocery store. We are also close to Elkhart and Mishawaka, Indiana that offers 100's of shopping and dinning options. Located in the heart of Bristol,Indiana, our 1875 home reflects the romantic charm and character of the Victorian Era. 3 beautifully appointed rooms all with luxurious beds and linens, a private bath, and a sitting area, overlook our ever changing gardens. Bristol is conveniently located off of the Indiana toll road and is close and easy access to Notre Dame, Amish Country, wonderful St. Joseph river for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing, golf courses, Bonneville Mill for hiking and cross-country skiing,and the new "biggest in the country" farmers market. Massages and meals in Amish homes are also available by reservation. The Bristol Opera House is famous for it's live plays and musicals, and only a block away. We have many packages available or you can spend your time just relaxing and reading a book either outside by the gardens and fountain, or inside in the library or your room. We have a wonderful setting for small weddings, whether inside or outside, anniversary parties, showers, and small business meetings. In-house catering is available. The SpaceThis space is near historic downtown Goshen. It's an attic apartment separate from the rest of our family's living quarters. You get a kitchenette and full bath to yourself. Guest AccessThe entire apartment is yours. There is a patio outside you may enjoy. Interaction with GuestsSomeone will be around to help you get into the apartment. In fact, if you need airport pickup, or pickup and drop-off at a local restaurant, ballgame or other event, we may even be willing (for extra fees) to provide a personal driver so you can enjoy your evening or tailgating experience, complete with adult beverages. The NeighborhoodWe're on a nice street lined with Goshen's signature maple trees, but not far from a railroad track, so some people find it to be noisy. Getting AroundEasy parking off-street for one or two cars in our drive. Pickup and dropoff to South Bend Regional Airport or Amtrak in Elkhart may be provided as a service at an additional fee. Other Things to NoteWe're located near South Side Soda Shop (1 block) which is a must-try restaurant featured on "Diners n Dives" with great greasy-spoon food and awesome pies. Downtown Goshen is a short walk away with a variety of really great restaurants. Goshen College is five blocks away.

Beautiful Executive Getaway Home on 6 private acres, only a 30 minute toll drive to Notre Dame. Enjoy this 3/2 home built in 1997, 2 miles north off toll road 80/90 exit 101 on the Michigan border. Enjoy the Large Master suite upstairs with a King size bed, Flat screen TV, large walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi tub. Main floor bedroom with a queen-size bed with full bathroom across the hall. Large kitchen with a eat in area, and a large dinner table in the dining room. Main floor is open concept with vaulted ceilings and two different areas to relax with a 42 flat screen TV. Our home will sleep up to 6 or 7 comfortably, in addition full size bed also available in basement, with twin bed, and blow up queen mattress is available if needed . Sit outside to see the stars at night with no glow from town, or sit around the fire pit, or under the Pergola and enjoy the sounds of the waterfall from the fish pond. Our property is totally private and peaceful, with trails to walk around and through the woods. See deer and turkey in the fields, or pick wild Blackberries or Strawberries if in season. Enjoy fresh brown eggs from our own chickens. So many things to visit nearby including Shipshewanna. Bristol is 3 miles south of the home. Very easy access to everything including groceries, restaurants, and outdoor activities. Get away from it all, and you will want to call this your HOME!! Dog Friendly Horse Friendly

The SpaceMy home is in a quiet, country subdivision close to Amish country - Shipshewana and Middlebury, Indiana and MORE! Discover quiet country roads, small Amish-owned shops of all kinds, the Midwest's largest flea market - Shipshewana Flea Market visited by thousands each year! Host was raised in the area and has worked for local attractions so is very familiar with what the area has to offer and has a large network of contacts for public or private places to visit. Many locally owned restaurants to visit while in the area. Also close to Wellfield Botanic Garden, NYC Railroad museum, and more in Elkhart, Indiana. Home is clean, quiet and safe. I have a small Bichon Frise dog. My home is close to US 20 and the 80/90 Toll Road. Queen bed on main floor and a twin bed in lower level available. Bathroom on main floor by guest room. Second living room in lower level with tv.

Our home is 90 feet of lake access to an all sports lake. We have piers to park your boat or to use for fishing. Our lake front has a wonderful shallow area for small children to play, or just to float around. The house has lots of sleeping and great for multiple families. Spend your evening on large deck in hot tub enjoying fantastic lake view. We are only 22 miles from Notre Dame off 80/90 toll rd. So after game, get away from the hustle and bustle to quite slow pace small town dinning, or cook your own meal in our fully equipped kitchen. Our cottage is great for a get away vacation or weekend.

The SpaceMain floor bedroom is a foam, queen sized mattress. Fully furnished bedroom with antique dresser, lamps, and closet space. Bathroom is next door. Second bedroom is in basement. There is no bathroom down there so you would need to come upstairs. Guest AccessThere is a private family room in the basement for game playing, TV watching, or visiting. Kitchen privileges, laundry room available, and quiet shaded patio with a pond and fountain nearby. Close to the 80/90 Toll road, US 20 Bypass, and CR 17 which connects to both highways. Interaction with GuestsI work in the school system so am generally gone days when school is in session. Evenings are random - being home or not. The NeighborhoodMy country subdivision is quiet and in a great area, but also close to stores, malls, and highways, nice restaurants, museums, Amish country, and much more. You can see occasional deer in yards and along roads, and also see and hear wild turkey. Approximately 30 miles from Notre Dame University. Highways close by to access ND for home games. Getting AroundPublic transportation would be in nearby Elkhart. You can park in my driveway during your stay. Other Things to NoteDue to a lot of antique wood furniture, please be sure to use coasters on ALL furniture. Thank you. Please don't feed my dog, Gracie, any human food. Please make sure your tires are on the concrete drive as there are sprinkler heads in the grass along both sides.
