This is our weekend 'home away from home' that we rent for a few selected times each year. It is a fully equipped 3 bedroom 'home', with a small backyard for BBQ, and a GREAT front porch for sitting in the rocking chairs at watching life happen. We are 3 blocks from the downtown heart of Bristol, and about 200 feet from the July 4 parade route...walk down to the corner and you are at the parade, come back to the house to cool off. We have washer/dryer in the house. The public bus to take you to Newport is at the corner. Our house is fully modernized and air-conditioned. We have cable-based internet, and an HD TV/dvd player. NOTE: We do NOT have cable TV channels activated. NOTE: The bathroom/shower & bedrooms are upstairs; this is not a wheelchair-accessible house (there is a 1/2 bath on the main floor). There are glass-topped tables. Up to (2) well-behaved dogs are OK. Sorry, no cats allowed. We are in the heart of Bristol - walk to shops, restaurants, bars, sailing museum...even a small beach! There is a city bus stop within 200 feet of our house that will take you to Newport (mansion tours, more nighlife, etc).
