The SpaceOriginally a mercantile store built in 1895, the building has been renovated to closely resemble the original exterior. The interior has been updated with a streamlined modern look, showcasing artwork from Mississippi artists, Dr. J. Kim Sessums and Ed Williford. Each room features a unique piece by one of the artists. Guest AccessGuests will have a private room with sitting area, desk, Keurig brewer, single queen or two double beds, and a bathroom with walk-in shower. The lobby kitchen is open to all Inn guests for snacks, drinks, teas and coffees, as well as breakfast. Interaction with GuestsThe Innkeeper lives on site, and is available to greet you upon your arrival (unless you schedule a late arrival) and/or answer any questions you have about area restaurants and attractions. The NeighborhoodThe Inn on Whitworth is located in historic downtown Brookhaven. Very quiet, small-town experience with shops and businesses close by, as well as a few restaurants tucked into historic buildings. Getting AroundThe Amtrak station is just a couple blocks away from the Inn and downtown, the City of New Orleans line comes through daily going to and from Chicago. Closest airport is in Jackson, MS, approximately one hour away. Taxis or car rental is available at the airport in Jackson. No public transport in Brookhaven. On street parking is available at the Inn.
