The SpaceThis is a great space for you if you want to feel like you live in Boston vs. feel like you are just visiting. I will treat you like a roommate (in a good way). Meaning my home is your home during your stay. I may or may not be around during the day, but I will always be available by phone if you have any questions or need help with anything. If I am around the house, feel free to have a glass of wine with me or watch TV, etc. I love this city and am super happy I found the place I am living because the neighborhood is great, so I know you will love it :) Guest Access***Apartment*** Bath: Please feel free to use whatever you need during your stay (toiletries/shampoo/conditioner/etc..). There is only 1 bathroom, so it will be shared for the duration of your stay. Living room: Please feel free to watch whatever you want on TV/Netflix Streaming/Apple TV. I will provide the Netflix Password and can show you how to use the Apple TV. The only thing I ask is that you do not order movies On Demand or on iTunes without working it out with me in advance. I am fine with it as long as you are fine with paying the additional cost for it. Bedroom: 1 *Full* size bed (sleeps 2). Feel free to use the closet/hangers for your clothing. All sheets, blankets, etc...will be washed/fresh for your use. This room is small and there is nothing I can do about that so please review the photos to see room prior to booking. There is also a TV in the room where you can watch Netflix or Amazon Prime. Interaction with GuestsI will also be staying on the premises and can answer any questions you may have about the apartment, restaurants, bars, museums, etc...I have a dog, but he will not have access to the bedroom that is listed for the duration of your stay. He is a very friendly Beagle Mix (~40lbs). I only ask that if you do not like dogs, are scared of them, or allergic, please do not stay here as there is no way for me to move him off the premises. The NeighborhoodBrookline is a wonderful neighborhood. It is very safe and walkable. The unit is right in-between Coolidge Corner/Brookline village, which has restaurants, bars, Peets Coffee & Starbucks, a movie theater, some shopping, & a Trader Joes. Star Market (Grocery) and a wine store is also a short walk from the apartment. Fenway Park is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute train ride on the D line. Getting AroundWalking distance to both the C and D Green Line trains, which is very convenient when traveling back home from the City. About a 5 Minute T ride to Fenway, 10 Minutes to the Commons, 20-30 minutes to-from airport. I can give you more specific directions to wherever you need to go upon request. Other good ways to get around: UBER, Taxi, and Zipcar. Please note that you will need your own account to use Zipcar or UBER, but I figured it would be good to list here since most big cities have these things. Location: 0.3 miles to D line, 0.4 miles to C line, 0.5 miles to E line. Do your research if you have a specific place you need to be. I am 1.2 miles from the MFA and 3 miles from Copley Square. There is also a map on the listing that shows my exact location. If you have questions, please ask. Other Things to NoteParking: I do not have a parking space and parking is limited in Brookline. I recommend *not* having a car when visiting Brookline. If you must have a car, then there are 2 hotels a few blocks away where you can park for a fee. I know a street with free parking but it is a short bus ride away.

But if you enjoy walking, your feet are your best friends in this neighborhood. Dump the high heels. Boston is not a dres-up town, lucky you. If you really want to play tourist– take the amphibious Duck Tour and explore the city. But if you'd rather want to know the city's secrets, just ask me, and I'll hopefully lead you in the right direction! Oh yes, UBER is one click away from your smart-phone, or reserve a ZipCar and pick it up across the street and drive yourself crazy. There are trains and boats and buses to the Cape, and ferries to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. You can't leave town without a weekend of island hopping. And of course there's the North Shore, and the South Shore, and the Berkshires out in Western Mass. I'd say if you have to pick one state to visit in the entire US, Massachusetts fits the bill.
