The SpaceThe A-Frame cabin is cozy and welcoming, there is a queen bed, full bed and a futon sofa that can fold out to a queen size sleeper or two single beds. If you love the country, fresh air, outdoors, bicycle riding, bonfires, olive trees, dark quiet starry nights, cookouts, open spaces, lazy days and swings then this is the place for you. There is also a kennel.
The A frame, built in 1970, was the first of it's kind to be built in Hernando County. This is place to getaway and relax. There is no TV or internet, instead play a game of chess or cards. Take a stroll through the grove or ride down the bike path. Watch the sunset at pine Island (6 miles North), fish off the Bay Port Pier (7 Miles North), Canoe the rivers, there are now two full size canoes and they're heavy so you''ll need a truck. Read, write, paint, explore, relax, heal or just take time away. Guest AccessMake a country meal in the full kitchen, sample our fresh pressed olive oil with some freshley baked bread that you prepare. (cookware and kitchenware supplied), full bath (towels, wash clothes and fresh handmade Castile soap included), washing machine and clothes line, 2 bicycles, 2 canoes, life jackets, whistles, paddles and the gear needed to strap them to your car for travel to the rivers. Printed copy of local folklore and haunted stories to enjoy by the fireside . In the Spring enjoy the olive blossoms, in the Fall enjoy the olive harvest.

Interaction with GuestsThere is a farm store that is set away from the cabin, it is open on the weekends 10am -6pm and private tours may be scheduled weekday mornings between 10am and noon. You're welcome to join any activities we have going on or schedule your own private Seminar and workshop. Soap Making is $25, Mosaic pots $20, Bonsai $25 olive tree or Olive Oil Clay Lamps $10, infuse olive oil $15.00. Ask us for supplies if you'd like to enjoy the workshop but do it on your own. Getting AroundThere is a bus line that runs from Brooksville to Spring Hill called "THE BUS" but it's a two mile walk or bike ride to the hwy where the bus stops. You'll need a vehicle. Weeki Wachee mermaids, springs and water park 5 miles from cabin. Movie theater and shopping centers 3 miles : Michael's Crafts, Dick's Sporting Goods, Marshal's, Walmart, Sam's Club, Dollars store, Italian, Chinese, Indian and Mexican restaurants all within a few miles of The Olive Grove Retreat.
