We live in a quiet cul de sac. Nice area. Close to public transport, medical centre and shops. Close to local park. We are a family of four. Well behaved and desciplined kids make the house very welcoming. The house is always kept very clean. The vacant room itself is queen size so if 2 girls would like to share it that would be even better.

    The SpaceYou will have access to all facilities such as pool and BBQ area. My kitchen is clean for you to use as you wish and help yourself to the bbq on the backyard or around the pool. It is the perfect place to relax. You will be sharing the house with me, my 15 year old daughter and my wife. We are from Argentina and we have lived in Brisbane for 14 years. I am a business owner, my wife works part time and my daughter is a student. We tend to keep fairly low key during the working week and socialize outside of the house with friends on weekends. Guest AccessGuests will have access to their own bedroom with queen size bed and built in wardrobe. Their own large bathroom with shower, bath, Jacuzzi and toilet. You have access to the entire house except for my bedroom. There is aircon in the room and all living areas. We have a large entertaining backyard with BBQ. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is very safe with easy access to many needs. There are many shops around, Grand Plaza Shopping Centre, Cinemas, large supermarkets, Restaurants, etc, all within 5 min walk. Easy bus ride with bus terminal at the shopping centre, coffee shop, fish and chip shop, post box , all 5 minute walk around the corner from the house. Getting AroundThere is a bus terminal right out the front of the shopping center, 5 mins walk down the road. There is parking space in the driveway if you have a car. Pick up from the airport can be organized if needed. There are many easy options to get around. I can find out specifics if needed. Other Things to NoteSmoking permitted outside the house only with doors closed.

On acreage, large house, 2 family rooms with tv so your not stuck with us if you don't want to be. Car would be great but bus is close by, and if able I can drop you off locally, also airport drop off's if I'm available at a cheaper rate than cabs. Depending on how your travelling, the city is 30 minutes by car, Gold Coast 40 minutes by car. I do shift work so can be flexible at times. Local info to share, love a chat & travel. For travellers with children, ages above 9 would be more acceptable, our house is not set up for young children. Other Things to NoteAn Important thing to note, ALL GUESTS MUST BE 18+ UNLESS WITH A PARENT.. I keep a tidy home, although it is a 30yr old home. Your welcome to make tea/coffee, use of a fridge as needed. I would appreciate guests cleaning up after themselves.       This cottage is set in a lovely one acre wooded landscaped garden with plenty of birdlife. You also have your own large deck that overlooks the bushlands behind us. This is a peaceful neighbourhood with plenty of shopping only minutes away. There is also easy access to the motorways linking to the Gold & Sunshine coasts. Forestdale is a quiet, leafy neighbourhood. There are plenty of street walks as well as a couple of short bush walks to two lakes.

There is also a fire-pit style BBQ in the backyard which you can use. There is space for guests to park their cars on the lawn in front of the house. Otherwise, plenty of free street parking is available. Interaction with GuestsI am often at home and can assist guests with any questions about getting around and places to see. Please feel free to ask questions. I am happy to give tips on things to see and do. The NeighborhoodThe house is located in a fairly quiet neighbourhood. There is a bus stop and corner stores, doctors, pubs, parks and other facilities within walking distance. Shopping malls, libraries and other public transport are 10-15 min away. Getting AroundI can help guests with public transport options and routes to nearby areas or the City, Gold Coast etc. Other Things to NoteGuests are welcome to bring their own food or can buy from the local eateries. The NeighborhoodForestdale is a quiet neighbourhood with all the homes on acreage. There are some lovely walks, close to our home, to a couple of lakes with the chance of seeing birds and other wildlife. Grand Plaza shopping centre has a very wide range of shops, it has a food hall as well as cinemas. There are also a number of restaurants nearby. Getting AroundThere are a couple of shopping centres a few minutes down the road in Browns Plains. This is also the terminus to the frequent bus services to Brisbane. There is easy access to the Gold and Sunshine coasts from our home.

        The SpaceOff street secure parking is available, and guests are welcome to cool off in the pool, lounge under the cover of the pergola while watching the birds bathe in the water feature or just stroll around the extensive native garden. There are take away restaurants ( MacDonalds, Subway, Indian, Chinese, Sushi, Pizza ) a 5 min drive away or if you prefer a hotel with $10 meals every night. The room will only be rented to cater for a family group or two couples travelling together. Mary is an ex French teacher and is eager to communicate with French speakers. The NeighborhoodThe house is on an acre surrounded by native garden making it a very private space. We are surrounded by similar properties although we are 5 min from a supermarket and 10 min from a major retail shopping mall. Getting AroundBus services to Brisbane City are 10 min away and train services to the airport and Gold Coast are about 20 min away. Time permitting we are able to collect you from these points and drop you back there as needed for a small extra charge. Other Things to NoteWe are 40 minutes from the centre of Brisbane by car or we can take you to the nearest bus station or train station and collect you as you return "home" ( extra charge applies). The Gold Coast is also about 40 min away by car and all the theme parks (Dreamworld, Movie World) are only 20 min away.

Located in a tranquilly, quiet wide street adjacent to a leafy park, Casa Linda offers four bedrooms which comprise a King’s bed, a Queen size, a double and two sets of single bunk beds. With the addition of three double sofa beds, she can easily accommodate up to 16 guests. All of these bedrooms even have separate air conditioning units! Separate spacious lounge areas including a Billiards room ensure you have ample entertainment options inside, whilst the lovely back garden provides a delightful, covered outdoor entertaining area. Adjacent to this and perfect on balmy days, is the cooling salt water pool, complete with a separate wading section for younger members of the brigade.
