The SpaceGreat inexpensive opportunity to fish and hunt in the North Country or just enjoy the great outdoors! Accommodations are privately located in our Camp of several four season Cabelas outfitter tents to share, extra large cot (you bring your own bedroll), and unlimited flapjacks and coffee in the morning.
Breath the clean fresh air, view the stars like you've never seen before, gather around the nightly campfire (weather and local ordinance permitting), fish in the beautiful nearby Little Salmon River, hunt (during season) in 58.5 acres of private land, ski nearby Titus Mountain, snowmobiling, bird watching, or watch for the beavers working diligently on our own 3 acre beaver pond.

For those who still need a link to civilization: There is excellent Verizon cell phone service, there are several small towns within 10 miles, 15 min to the Indian Reservation Casino, and Plattsburgh is only an hour away! There is a generator that is run between 6:00 and 8:00pm for charging cell phones, etc. Guest AccessGuests have access to their own tent (of course) as well as 58.5 acres of undeveloped land to hike or just sit and enjoy. Also on the property is an area where we care for rescued horses. Sorry, no riding available but you may interact with them from outside their fencing. They are tame, friendly, and enjoy apple slices and carrots. Please do not feed them anything else as we monitor their health closely. It's best to ask first. Interaction with GuestsYou will be greeted upon arrival and shown to your tent. There is a general map of the property. Let us know when you wish breakfast and we will try to accommodate depending upon how many guests are staying at the time. A generator is run between 6:00 and 8:00 pm to permit charging of cell phones, etc. You may interact with the family or choose to keep to yourself. Tents are checked regularly for repairs and maintenance. The NeighborhoodThe neighboring area is mostly farms. It is not unusual to see the Amish in their horse drawn carriages. Please slow down when passing horses as to not kick dirt at them or startle them.
