The SpaceOur home is located near downtown Bryan and is only a short drive to Texas A&M University. The house has approximately 2900 square feet of living space. We have owned it for a couple of years and are working to update and modernize it slowly but surely! There are many quirks about this home and many features that the original owner/builder built into the home that we don't love so we hope to change over time! We both attended Texas A&M and graduated classes of '09 and '10. We love living in this town and believe it has much to offer both with the University and the charm of small town life. The first floor contains 2 living areas, a dining room, kitchen, laundry room (for your washing needs), a large master bedroom with connecting bathroom, as well as a second bedroom with connecting bathroom. The master bedroom contains a queen bed and plenty of room for an air mattress (not included). The second bedroom contains a baby crib and a comfortable futon which will be set up for a full bed with linens. On the second floor, there are 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. Both bedrooms contains queen beds. There is space for air mattresses in both downstairs living rooms. There are 3 big, sleep-able, comfortable couches and 2 loveseats. The house is not handicap accessible. Sleeping recap: -3 queens -1 full (futon) -3 couches -room for 2-3 air mattresses -crib We have a large flatscreen T.V. in the living room and wi-fi throughout the house. Cable is on a month by month basis so it is open to discussion. The fenced yard includes a covered patio area with a grill and plenty of grass for yard games (we will leave these out on the patio). The driveway contains parking for up to 4 cars and curbside parking out front. We own a tailgating company called Tailgating Outfitters (try searching for it) where we provide a tailgate set-up on the A&M campus complete with tent, tables, chairs, T.V., satellite, dishes, ice chests, and more! If you are interested in this as well, please contact me to work out a Bed & Breakfast + Tailgate DISCOUNT! We request that you notify us in advance if you will be entertaining more than 12 people while you are here. On Saturday mornings there is a farmers market a few blocks down our street. There you can purchase fresh eggs, locally grown vegetables, baked goods, locally roasted coffee beans, a variety of plants and organic beef. Downtown Bryan has been beautifully restored and is now home to many wonderful restaurants, clubs, art galleries, museums, and shops. Downtown Bryan offers some of our favorite stops: The Proudest Monkey bar and grill, The Village Cafe (great food and drinks and live music), Downtown Uncorked (wine bar), Brauhaus German Restaurant, The Chocolate Gallery (watch gourmet chocolate creations being made in front of you), Papa Perez and Casa Rodrigeuz (Mexican restaurants). Getting AroundThee most helpful transportation for your visit would probably be the Texas A&M University Bus Transit system. There is not a bus stop in walkable distance from our house, but you can easily to drive to a nearby station and ride to campus/football game/etc (so you won't get caught in gameday traffic!) Other Things to NoteWalmart supermarket is within a half mile. Also, less than 2 miles from downtown Bryan, with restaurants, small museums, bars and art galleries. Easy drive to A&M Campus! 8 minutes with no traffic.

This historic home, built in 1906, is located near downtown Bryan and is only a short drive to Texas A&M University (6 miles to Kyle Field). The home was the personal residence of an Architect for 15 years and it has been completely restored and updated. The house has approximately 3,300 square feet of living space with high ceilings, large archways, and many windows which give it a warm, comfortable feel. It has a large well-equipped kitchen, a large family room with an HD TV (Netflix and HuluPlus included), a formal dining room, a breakfast nook, a parlor and a living room. All of the floors are hardwood and many of the furnishings are antiques. Three large bedrooms are located on the second floor. One has twin beds, one has a full bed, and the other has a queen bed. There is an additional room upstairs that can be used as a dressing area or bedroom; it is furnished with a daybed. There is a sofa sleeper downstairs that makes into a queen bed. This room can be closed off from the other common areas for privacy. There is one bathroom upstairs and one bathroom downstairs. Each bathroom has a tub and shower. The bedrooms do not have private bathrooms. The bathrooms are not handicap accessible. The fenced yard includes a 6-8 person hot-tub, large patio and a covered porch. There is off street parking for up to four cars and on street parking out front. Pets will be considered on a case by case basis. The home is well designed for entertaining and social events. It can be rented for retreats, parties, reunions, football weekends, etc. Additional charges will apply for these events. We request that you noify us in advance if you will be entertaining more than 10 people while you are here. Some of the furnishings may have changed from the pictures. Please keep in mind that this home was built before modern air conditioning was available. Although it has been fitted with two central air-conditioning units (one for each floor), when the temperature rises above 100 degrees - the units will keep the house comfortable, but not cold. On Saturday mornings there is a farmers market within walking distance. There you can purchase fresh eggs, locally grown vegetables, baked goods, locally roasted coffee beans, a variety of plants and organic beef. There are several restaurants and bars in the downtown area - about 5 blocks away. Downtown Uncorked is a wine bar in downtown. The NeighborhoodThis is a very mixed neighborhood: there are young families, professors and elderly residents who have lived here all their lives. There is also a mix of races, ethnic backgrounds, and socio-economic status. Getting AroundWalking distance to downtown Bryan and a nice park. Short driving distance to most everything else. Other Things to NoteThis house is about 4 blocks from the railroad tracks. The train goes through several times a day. I have purchased individually wrapped earplugs for those who need them. We own the large vacant lot accross from the house. Feel free to walk your pets over there.

The Space Built in 1875 as the first courtroom,,jail, and residence for Sheriff James Galloway and his family.     The SpaceLocated less than a mile from downtown Bryan and just a few more from Texas A&M University, our home is perfect for game and event weekends as well as stays during the week. We recently renovated home and it is bright and open. We have two bedrooms with queen beds. The TV room has a pull out couch and an extra large 8ft sofa, and the living room also has a couch. All together, 8 people can sleep very comfortably. Guest can watch Netflix and Hulu Plus. We also have a Sling TV subscription that includes popular network TV stations including SEC ESPN Network stations. Relax in lounge chairs on the covered front porch or dine with friends on the picnic table on the covered back porch. Our open backyard is a great space for throwing the ball around. We have a large driveway and can fit quite a few cars. Guest AccessOur guests have full access to the house. Interaction with GuestsPlease contact us if you have any questions. The NeighborhoodWe are on a quiet street, a block from Sue Haswell Park, down the road from the shops and restaurants of downtown Bryan, and a few exits from Texas A&M. Secluded quiet neighborhood coul-de-sac with 2 acre lots. Fenced in yard for kids or adults to run around. There is a king size bed in the master. Two full size beds in two other bedrooms. One fold out couch and an air mattress is available if needed. Fully equipped kitchen. Pans, plates, utensils all in great condition. No tv in living room. There is a projector screen, projector and a DVD player if you want to watch. There is a tv in the guest room closet though. Guest AccessTowels and shampoos and sheets all provided with your stay. Interaction with GuestsI have lived in College Station for 25 years and will be glad to recommend places or help with planning. The NeighborhoodQuiet and serene with a beautiful feel. Two minute walk to Messina Hof winery. Other Things to NotePerfect for families with kids. My daughter and I love their and there are toys and one of the bedrooms doubles as a playroom. For the adults, either walk to Messina Hof or relax on the porch front or rear and enjoy the quiet.
