The SpaceA spacious private room in a cozy family home in the foothills of Mtayleb overlooking Beirut. The room includes a single bed and an extra mattress and easily fits two people. It also includes its own private balcony with a beautiful view, a small herb garden, and outdoor wooden tables and chairs where you can have your breakfast and morning coffee. There are also several instruments and a whole bookshelf with books which you are welcome to enjoy. The room has excellent daylight and overlooks a back street, so it's nice and quiet all day and night. Tea, coffee, water, olives and fruit are always available, and you are welcome to have breakfast and dinner with us when we are cooking at home. There is also a great small supermarket with lots of choice just across the street. There is a bakery that makes traditional Lebanese manoushe along the street, and several cafes within a 3 minute walk (Lina's, Starbucks, Wooden Bakery). You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the people, the family atmosphere, the daylight. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Guest AccessYou'll have access to the whole house except other rooms and bathrooms. You'll have your own room and balcony to yourself, access to the kitchen, guest bathrooms, living room, dining room and large living room balcony. Interaction with GuestsWe are always available for any questions, advice and interesting conversations! Will be happy to take you out to the city, and if time permits, to explore other parts of Lebanon (though this depends on time). Getting AroundParking is available underneath the house. There are public taxis (service) that you can catch just outside the house which will take you down to the coast (10 min) where you can catch buses going south to Beirut or North to Byblos, Batroun, Tripoli.
