The SpaceThis is an upscale apartment on Lake Ontario with a spectacular view and amenities. Guest AccessGenerally the guests have access to most amenities if the owner allows it with superintendents. Interaction with GuestsBecause I live in the building, there is some minimal interaction and ease of access to me if there is a problem. The NeighborhoodThis is a quiet building and neighbourhood with few children present, little traffic, noise or pollution. Getting AroundIt is necessary to have your own transportation since this is the outskirts of Hamilton and to get groceries or shop, you must travel. Public transportation is minimal. Other Things to NoteThis is a great spot from which to see the sights in the area, from Toronto to Niagara Falls.

The SpaceFantastic views over the city and lake in a peaceful rural setting that is just a short distance from Toronto and Hamilton airports and few minutes to the major highways. This ground level, private suite is an ideal place from which to explore the area and cities around the Niagara escarpment, hike on the Bruce Trail, and enjoy a country retreat. Newly renovated with two comfortable bedrooms, great kitchen and living area and a private deck. Wake up to the sunrise over Lake Ontario. Step out to hike on Bruce Trail running through the back yard. A 10 minute drive to GO Train, Lake Ontario and the shops and restaurants of downtown Burlington. Separate entrance, mudroom area for storage of bikes, snowshoes, etc. There is parking (for up to two cars). Washer and dryer (shared with owner) in common room next to apartment. I love to show people around the property, get them started out on the trail and/or head down for some music and a beer at the pub nearby. (half hour walk down, taxi back). In summer months guests are welcome to get seasonal vegetables and herbs from my garden for their meals and join me out there anytime lol! This is a beautiful place in all seasons. The best I can describe it is a cozy, cottage type retreat with spectacular city views. The property backs onto the family pear orchards, but has convenient access through a quiet residential street in north Burlington. I would suggest a car unless you are hiking through on the Bruce Trail or on a biking trip. In winter conditions a vehicle with good winter tires or 4 wheel drive is a necessity as the driveway is on quite a hill. (We do get plowed out by the farm tractor very quickly when it snows). There is a city bus stop about a 15 minute hike from here, which will get you to downtown, shopping or restaurants and the GO Train station with frequent trains to Toronto and other cities. Toronto Pearson Airport and Hamilton airport are less than an hour drive from here. (depending on traffic of course) I love having guests and sharing this place with people from around the world.
