The SpaceOur space is open and bright, with plenty of green-space out both the front and back. It's convenient yet quiet... a perfect spot to relax after a fun day. It is shared with the other guest(s) in the house. Each bedroom has a keyless lock.. so whether you are in or out, your belongings are secure. The historic Lakeside community is located in the thriving post-industrial arts district of Burlington's south end. This unique square of duplexes was built in the late 19th century to house lumber mill workers and their families. It is situated beside Lake Champlain and on the Burlington bike path. Lakeside Park, which is host to pick-up soccer games, a basketball court, playground, and a free winter ice skating rink, is central to the community, with the duplexes forming a square along its perimeter. Just down the street is the much larger Oakledge Park, which is complete with tennis courts, shuffleboard, a giant human sundial, and a very cool handicapped accessible tree house! The neighborhood beach is only 2 blocks from our house, and is the perfect spot to swim or catch the incredible sunset over Lake Champlain and the Adirondack mountains. Perhaps the most convenient feature of our neighborhood is that it is located directly on a popular bike and pedestrian path that follows the shoreline through Burlington, and continues 12.5 miles to a seasonal bike ferry that connects cyclists to the Champlain Islands and beyond. The path is popular among bicyclists, tourists, and commuters alike. In the winter you can ski on it! Free parking is available, both on and off-street. If you use our driveway, please stay to the right. The left side belongs to our neighbors. We are 5.5 miles from the airport. We can help you arrange a cab if needed. The SpaceThe space is cute and comfortable. You need to know that I live here with my daughter when I'm not renting it out. Living downtown is fun and convenient and that's what most of my guest like the most; its proximity to Church Street. Private DOWNSTAIRS bedroom : full size bed, small closet, shoe closet, night table, and window. The bedroom is small but private Semi-private UPSTAIRS attic bedroom: (this bedroom is used as a child's bedroom but can accommodate adults) full size bed with down comforter, 19" flat screen tv with Roku set-up for streaming netflix and other online sites. High speed internet but no cable tv (cable tv in living room ONLY). bookcase/shelves, games (chess, checkers, LIFE, ect., vintage vanity, and an empty hanging rack for your clothes. This room is the only upstairs room in the house and has very low ceilings. The room is heated with an electric ceramic wall panel that heats the room nicely. The a/c unit upstairs has three settings (a/c, fan, and dehumidify) its fairly easy to figure out. Please make sure it's either on fan or a/c because the dehumidifying mode requires drainage, which it's not set up for. The room does not have a door but the space is big enough that privacy is not an issue. (full size air mattress available for extra guests and a pack n' play). Living room: couch and 32" flat screen tv set up with Xfinity and Roku Bathroom: tub and shower, clean towels, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, flat iron, curlers Kitchen: gas range, sink (no dishwasher), table that seats 4 (extra chairs available), all use of dishes, utensils, appliances (french press, blender, mini-food processor, juicer, toaster oven), and food/drink. The house is located in the Old North End section of Burlington, Vermont. A six minute walk to Church Street (where all the major shops and restaurants are) and 3 minute walk to battery park which has spectacular views of Lake Champlain. One off street parking spot and plenty of on street parking (with a provided guest parking pass). Plenty of nearby public transportation if you wish to travel outside of downtown Burlington. The house is charming, cute, and cozy. It's old (1890's) but very clean. To keep costs low I ask that you leave the house as clean as you can. I don't charge a cleaning cost to make the space more affordable. I don't expect visitors to clean or change bedding but please try and leave things as close to the way it was when you arrived. If you would rather be charged a cleaning fee and not have this responsibility please let me know. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire house. Interaction with GuestsMostly I have very little interaction with houseguests. I try my hardest to be available via phone, text, and email. I have a caretaker that lives nearby incase of any issues that arise needing a hands on solution. The NeighborhoodBurlington's Old North End. I do not share the same living space but will be in the guest area to greet you and during breakfast. The NeighborhoodIt is a very quiet street. Even though we are in the city, you do not hear the traffic. You will find you are able to relax. Getting AroundThere is off street parking. If you plan to walk to your destinations, you are about a one minute walk to the bus stop. You are able to walk to restaurants,shopping, church or the park within minutes. We know many of our neighbors and frequently see them watching spectacular sunsets and walking dogs. We love that we live in a modest neighborhood but can walk to great downtown restaurants and have easy access to the Burlington bike path where we enjoy sweeping views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. There are city buses to the Burlington sirport, about 4.5 miles away. The main bus station is less that a mile away and there are also closer bus stops. There is bus service to major cities in Vermont and there is Megabus service to Boston and NYC. Guest AccessUse of washer and dryer available upon request. Iron available on request. Getting AroundTwo minute walk to bus stops, but it is easy to walk to any location. Other Things to NoteWe have a Great Pyrenees puppy on the property, but he lives in the downstairs unit with us, so you won't see him unless he is on a walk. We can also be flexible about check-in/check-out times, so please let us know if you have any special requests.

The SpaceWe're near Lake Champlain. It's a basement suite with its own entrance, so you can be assured of privacy. The suite can sleep five-- we have a king-size bed in one bedroom, a full-size bed in the other, and there is a pull-out couch in the living room. The bedrooms have big windows and are quite sunny. The suite also has a large living room, a full bathroom, and a kitchen with microwave (but no stove). We're equipped Wi-Fi internet and TV you can watch Netflix YouTube . We are about a 20-minute walk from North Beach, and 5 minutes from the Burlington bike path, which runs along the lakeshore. We have bikes you can borrow, if you like. My husband and I both work days, full time, so we would like you to check in after 4:30 p.m., if possible. If this is not possible give us a call and we'll figure something out. Small dogs are okay-- I love animals. There will be an extra charge of $25 per person per night if there are more than two people in your group (not counting babies). The Burlington bike path is beautiful, the lake and mountains will give you wonderful memories. It's a 20 minute bike ride from my house to Church Street and the waterfront at the foot of Main Street and you can explore downtown Burlington, enjoy good food and lots of activities. Buses run every half hour from 6 a.m. to about 7 p.m.; less frequently late in the evening. The SpaceYour private space is located on our third floor of our restored Victorian home. At the top of the stairs is an open entry room with a single bed/couch that adjoins the bedroom (but separated by a door). The bedroom is located at the back of the house and has a queen-size bed, air conditioner and "smart" TV (Netflix and a few local channels). The bathroom is newly restored and light-filled, with a clawfoot tub (fully modernized with shower). There is separate access from each room to the bathroom. Your 3rd floor suite is private and quiet. You are welcome to use the other common spaces in our home including the living room, dining room, and wrap-around porch. Guest AccessThis home is occupied by the owners but the 3rd floor is yours to enjoy privately. The living room has 3 comfy couches, a wood burning fireplace, and grand piano. Kitchen: You may use our kitchen to prepare a simple meal with a little notice and put a few items in our fridge. Laundry (on the second floor, $5 fee). Full wrap-around porch with seating for relaxing or enjoying a meal. Off-street parking. Interaction with GuestsWe are generally here to greet you, provide suggestions for activities & dining and share information about the local area and Vermont. For your convenience, we serve a continental breakfast which includes fruit or smoothie, cereals, bread, yogurt, milk & juice. Usually, we are happy to also prepare eggs or hot cereal if you let us know in advance. To help us prepare for your visit, please let us know at least a week ahead if you have special dietary needs such as gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan. The NeighborhoodWe are located in the residential, northern Hill Section of Burlington and within easy walking distance to University of Vermont, UVM Medical Center, and downtown. Our home is on a beautiful tree-lined street with mostly historic homes and an interesting mix of families and students. Getting AroundMost central city attractions are easily accessible on foot. Walking, it is about 10 minutes to the UVM Green and the hospital, 15 min to the top of Church Street and about 30 minutes to the waterfront. There is a Megabus stop at the UVM Green. By car, the airport is 15 minutes away (about a $12-$15 cab ride). Other Things to NoteWe donate 5% of our profits to a local organization, The Champlain Housing Trust, whose mission is to support the people of Northwest Vermont and strengthen their communities through the development and stewardship of permanently affordable homes. Our house is properly permitted for the B&B, and we pay all meals and rooms taxes (11%). Starting Oct. 1, 2016, Airbnb will begin collecting and remitting the Vermont Meals and Rooms Taxes. We have a 2 night minimum on all stays except for a 3 night minimum on UVM graduation weekend, UVM Homecoming & Family Weekend and Memorial Day/Burlington Marathon weekend. Please feel free to ask for any exceptions to these restrictions! As is common in an older home, the stairs to the 3rd floor suite are a bit steep, so we are very happy to help you with your bags.

It's about a 10-minute walk to downtown, half a block from an Asian Market with fresh produce as well as great takeout, and there's a convenience store across the street. Walking distance to the waterfront and bike paths, the University of Vermont, and Fletcher Allen Hospital. 45-minute drive to Stowe. Posted price includes cleaning fee. Single-night reservations or a third guest is an additional $20 — please message me so I may send a special offer with the correct rate. During summer and foliage season, single-night reservations on the weekends will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. The apartment is the top floor rear of my triplex. Guest AccessGuests are welcome to enjoy the backyard but their own deck is more private and less buggy. They have an assigned parking space at the end of the driveway. Interaction with GuestsI like to meet my guests when they arrive or soon after (I work part time away from home) and orient them to the apartment and the local amenities. I'm a knock on the door away if I'm home or available by cell phone if I'm not. I respect the guests' privacy although I'm always happy to run into them in passing and hear about their adventures. The NeighborhoodThe Old North End is close to everything and home to new families, long-time residents, students, artists, immigrants and is enjoying a revival with many start-up businesses, pop-up cafes, community gardens.

Fridge and electric kettle for tea, coffee, and simple food prep. Nunyuns Cafe is right next door for localvore breakfast and lunch, 7 am to 3 pm. Parking is easy in my driveway or on street. My home is your home while you're here, and I can easily be found in my separate living area if you need assistance with anything. The NeighborhoodWhat do I love about my neighborhood? Pretty much...Everything. Getting AroundBus is 3 doors down...Downtown is 5 blocks...Lake and bikepath is 3 blocks...extra bike on premises if you want to borrow it. Parking in driveway as well as on the street. Other Things to NoteThe room for lodgers has a full size bed, good quality firm support, as pictured in photo, for one or two people. There is also garage space for stowing bikes, snowboards or other gear. If you arrive by Megabus at UVM, best plan on calling a cab (about $7) as there is a big long hill to my house from there.

The SpaceOur guest suite is so much more than just a room: you've got your own 3/4 bathroom, a sauna and plenty of extra space to chill. The suite has a very nice queen-sized memory foam bed that comfortably sleeps two. The TV has access to 3 different streaming services (Netflix, Hulu & Amazon). There is a mini fridge to keep food/drinks in, or you can use the fridge in the kitchen upstairs if you need more space. We also have a twin AeroBed for families with a kid / extra traveler, as well as a Pack & Play, high chair and swing or bouncy chair for those with smaller children. There is also a living room and fireplace on the same floor that you are welcome to use. (We primarily use the upstairs living room.) No keys to lose or to return! This property provides secure, keyless entry with an August Smart Lock. You can lock and unlock the door with your smartphone, using a unique virtual key issued to you for the duration of your stay. (We also have a keypad for folks without a smartphone, or traditional keys if you like the analog approach to locks). Guest AccessGuests are welcome to use the kitchen and shared areas of the house. The NeighborhoodWe live in a quiet family neighborhood with easy access to downtown, bike paths, parks & beaches. There is a grocery store, Rite Aid, plenty of banks with ATMs, post office and UPS store as well as a couple of restaurants within a two minute drive or short bike ride. Getting AroundPlenty of parking - we have a giant driveway. In terms of public transportation, there is easy access to the bus route #7 on North Ave. But probably the best way to get around is by bike! We're happy to give you info on bike routes and are working on getting a couple of bikes you can rent if you don't bring your own. From the Burlington airport, it is about a 15 - 20 minute taxi ride, depending on the time of day. There are always plenty of taxis at the airport. Other Things to NoteWe have one old cat and two young kids, a 6 year old and a 2 year old. The guest suite is very separate from the rest of the house and the kids have plenty of their own space upstairs. They are kids though, so if you don't like kids, this is probably not the best place to stay. We don't let the cat into the guest area, which keeps it clean for anybody who has cat allergies. The suite has a door at the end of the hall that separates it from the rest of the house.

The space is cozy, comfortable and charming, with a 21'X12' deck with lake views for relaxing and dining, large bedroom with queen-size wrought iron bed, full-size kitchen and separate dining area, and large living room with a couch suitable for sleeping. Simply, beautifully furnished for utility and comfort. NOTE! Doorways in this second-floor space are 6 feet high -- if you are taller than 6 feet you will need to duck under doorways and in the shower, which has a slanted ceiling. Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire apartment, including a large deck, all kitchen appliances including a coffee maker. The downstairs porch is NOT part of the property and should not be used other than to get upstairs. Please do not leave bikes or any items on the porch or in front of the house -- bring them up to the deck or lock bikes on the rack in the green next door to apartment. There is access to Red Rocks Beach via the steps at the end of Lyons Avenue, and a foot path to Red Rocks Park at the end of Pavilion Avenue, off Lyons. Interaction with GuestsI will try to be available at the time of check-in to acquaint guests with the area and amenities and I may check in on the space (and my cat) occasionally, but I will NOT be staying on-site during the guests' stay. The NeighborhoodQueen City Park is one of the loveliest, most sought-after neighborhoods in the Burlington area, for several reasons. Red Rocks Park, a 100-acre natural area jutting out into Shelburne Bay, is steps away. Neighborhood residents (and guests) have access to Red Rocks Beach via our own beach access. The famous Burlington Bike Path is a couple blocks away. The neighborhood is tucked away just minutes from downtown on a dead-end street, so traffic is minimal. There is a public green right next to this apartment with a playground for kids, basketball court, Adirondack chairs and amazing views of the Bay (outrageous sunset views in winter). The 'hood is quiet, safe and friendly. Shelburne Road, with access to restaurants, shopping and just about anything else, is just minutes away. Getting AroundDowntown Burlington is about an 8-minute drive, a 45-minute walk, or maybe 15 minutes by bike on the Burlington Bikeway, which you can pick up at the intersection of Pine St and Queen City Park Road, about a mile from the apartment. There is a bus stop just a couple blocks away for the CCTA, the Burlington area's public transport system. The No. 5 bus stops on Queen City Park Road at Central Avenue, near the entrance to Red Rocks Park. Visit w(URL HIDDEN) for info and schedules. Other Things to NoteI have a black cat named Shakti who sometimes travels with me and sometimes stays home to keep an eye on my guests. He is super-friendly and a cuddler. Because this is his home, he will expect to go in and out as he pleases, and I prefer that he is inside at night. In the summer, he may choose to stay outside at night and generally sleeps on the porch downstairs when I am not home. It's likely he will try to snuggle with you in bed, but you can just say no to his overtures. Please offer him respect and kindness. YOU MUST BE A CAT LOVER TO STAY HERE! Thank you! Or rent both and meet on this middle deck.) This apartment is your own little place in town, an urban pied-a-terre with everything you need to be at home away from home. Located in Burlington's vibrant Old North End, it's two doors away from the neighborhood gathering place/coffee shop, Barrio Bakery (they have delicious vegan baked goods, too, and dine-in pizza Wednesday through Saturday evenings). It's about a 10-minute walk to downtown, half a block from an Asian Market with fresh produce as well as great takeout, and there's a convenience store across the street. Walking distance to the waterfront and bike paths, the University of Vermont, and Fletcher Allen Hospital. 45-minute drive to Stowe. Private entrance, queen bed, equipped kitchen, bath with shower (no tub), off-street parking, WiFi, AC, hairdryer, couch clicks flat for a third guest. Coffee, tea, milk, juice, organic granola provided. Smoke-free. The SpaceOur 1890 carriage house was converted to a house a number of years ago. The guest quarters are essentially a private apartment within the front our carriage house and consists of a bedroom, bathroom and separate sitting area with kitchenette equipped with a microwave, sink, electric kettle & fridge as well as a washer/dryer. There is a door that separates the guest quarters from the rest of the house (see photos). We share the front hallway. You'll find breakfast items (teas, coffee, juice, milk, granola, oatmeal) stocked in your fridge/cabinet. Help yourself! Cable TV, WIFI, radio/cd player. Fresh linens & towels are provided. Park right in front of our house. Our sweet, quiet and friendly dog, Woody, is a cairn terrier~ a non-shedding hypoallergenic breed. He stays in our living quarters. Easy access to all transportation. Bike rentals nearby for the bike path! Other Things to NoteIn lieu if imposing a two night minimum during the week, we do have an extra charge of $25 for all one-night stays during our busy season (mid-April- mid-Nov) and a two night weekend minimum (Friday-Sunday) during the height of our season. The one night fee will be added to your card as a special rate. We're happy to have the spare bed made up for any pairs not wishing to share the bedroom (i.e.- mother/daughter, siblings, good friends but not THAT close, etc). A one-time fee of $35 will be charged for use of the spare bed in the sitting room regardless of how many nights (a week or one night~ same fee) . We like to accommodate pairs of folks that may not wish to share the big bed. As this use is often spontaneous, this fee is a cash transaction handled separately from Airbnb during the time of your visit We don't use the guest quarters other than getting our laundry done between guests. Just a block away from the action at Church St Marketplace promenade, 1 block to Macy's mall and 2 blocks to Burlington's beautiful waterfront. It's a 2-bedroom apartment (the guest bedroom is the one listed, I occupy the master bedroom) with an open kitchen-living space and 1 bathroom (shared). The guest bedroom is aproximately 10’ x 17’ with closet, carpet, a desk and a queen bed. Free wifi, clean linen and towels provided. The apartment is on the top floor of a 4 story building (with elevator) located in the heart of downtown: 1 short block to Macy's mall and church street marketplace (plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, etc), 2 blocks to the waterfront, parks and bikepath (walk or bike to beaches). Also, 1 block from The Marriot, The Hilton and the new trendy Hotel Vermont (and Hen of the Woods resto, my fav.). There's a Dunkin Donuts and a laundromat on the first floor, and across the street there's a diner, a deli, a pizzeria, and an italian restaurant. Also there's a bus stop less than half a block away if needed. Off street parking available. No smoking or pets please.

The SpaceThis newly renovated apartment is on half or the second and the full third floor of my home. It is available by the day, week or month. The private entrance to the apartment is on the second floor. The kitchen and bath are on the 2nd floor, which has a street view. The kitchen was recently updated with maple, pearl cabinets. All dishes, pots and pans, etc. are ready for your arrival! Bathroom has a walk in shower. Washer and dryer are located on 2nd floor, outside bathroom. The living and bedroom are on the third floor. The living space and bedroom are an open floor plan, included is a 3 section panel for privacy if desired. The living room has amazing sunsets and views of Lake Champlain at it's best with the Adirondack mountains as a backdrop. Feel free to enjoy the private back yard with unmatched views of Lake Champlain. Conveniently located, Burlington has unlimited dining options, all walk-able. It is a five minute walk to the Burlington Waterfront Park, 15 minute walk to the Church Street Marketplace, yet still in a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. Parking is available for one car. Also bus line is available around the corner. Guest AccessThere are no shared amenities inside house. We do share driveway and yard :o) Interaction with GuestsWe actually only see each other if we come in the front door at the same time or we sharing the back yard. Burlington is also a very walkable city as well as being fairly bike friendly. There is a waterfront bike path as well as a shorter path through wooded areas. The latter connects the old north end of Burlington to the new north end, with Ethan Allen Homestead and paths to the Intervale farmland. This bike path is 4/10ths of a mile away. Other Things to NoteThere are two indoor/outdoor cats that live here. Anyone with mild allergies should be fine (no carpet).

Easy walking distance to all Burlington has to offer including the waterfront, downtown, University of Vermont, and Champlain College Nice private office area for client use on ground floor, great for longer term visitors. The waterfront is in view of the house's porch. Lake Champlain is 20 minutes downhill with its scenic bike path, boat trips, and waterfront museum. A bus line runs right in front of the house to reach the village of Shelburne and the famous Shelburne Museum. Excellent access to all things Vermont including easy access to ski slopes for winter fun. Large backyard with scenic porch and deck available to guests when weather permits. High speed internet via one of the fastest internet systems in America. Parking is abundant with provided permit. Owners live and work in the house and will facilitate a great stay in vibrant Burlington. They are active community members, history buffs, and in tune with all Burlington has to offer. Learn about Vermont, its history, and all of the wonderful things about the State while visiting. Two cockapoos, hypoallergenic dogs, are friendly residents. House is also within walking distance of the Megabus stop and the ferry. We now include all rooms and meals taxes in our price, we have been successful enough that that is now required! We do not serve breakfast, coffee or tea as a standard guest service. This is a question of not entering into the food and beverage business, which will require other types of permits in future, and we would prefer to stay strictly with hosting guests. We are happy to provide our refrigerator for left overs and snacks. But unfortunately we cannot offer food or beverages to Airbnb guests except when you are joining us personally for a coffee or tea, which we are happy to do when the timing is right. The waterfront is just 15-20 mins walking with boating, a world renowned bike and walking path and fun restaurants. They use solar hot water for washing all laundry for their Airbnb guests and in summer they dry all of the linens and towels on an outdoor line. In winter, we have retrofitted the house with efficient appliances, and have done a great deal of insulating to keep the house comfortable and warm. We use a wood stove for supplementing our heat. We are very appreciative of guests who turn off lights when they are not using them.

If you would like to rent the entire house, than please go to my other listings in my profile to find that listing. == House Layout == One queen bed downstairs, one queen bed upstairs, and two single beds in one room upstairs. There is one bathroom with shower on each floor, and a washer/dryer in the downstairs bathroom. The kitchen is decent size with lots of counters to help accommodate a lot of food prep. One of my favorite features of the house is the screened in porch in the front. Great for rainy days or later in the night after the bugs come out. The living room I have added a 60 inch tv which can get local over the air network channels. It also has Appletv which allows you to use HBOgo and Netflix. The backyard there is a small brick patio with gas weber grill. I'm focused on improving the backyard with such things as building a new wooden fence that lines the entire backyard, and getting grass to grow over the entire yard. The NeighborhoodI love how it seems to be an upcoming part of Burlington with so many new places opening up. Coffee and bagel shops located within a block of the house. The waterfront, Church Street and the downtown Burlington area are only a 15 minute walk away. Getting AroundA bus does go by but you should be happy walking, biking or if you want driving to get around town. In the summer downtown Burlington and the waterfront or only a 15 minute walk. Other Things to NoteI do have a giant friendly 180 pound St. Bernard so if you have dog allergies this might not be the best place to stay. We make every effort to clean up but full disclosure regarding that, and during shedding seasons there will be hair, even when I have the place professionally cleaned twice a week, I also schedule cleanings of the house the day of or the day before I do a full house rental. Naturally you can also expect the house to smell like a dog lives here. I am working on ways to mitigate that, but it is a reality of living with dogs in general especially very large dogs. If you would also like to bring a friendly dog to stay at my home, I most likely can accommodate that. I just request that you get permission from me, so that I am aware and also tell me a little about your dog, how they interact with larger dogs and things such as if they would be home at my house at all or with (EMAIL HIDDEN)mon Questions** How does the key exchange work? Actually I don't have a key, I use a keypad entry, which I can provide if I am unable to meet you at your arrival. Do you have parking? I don't have parking, but my neighborhood doesn't have any restrictions and you usually can get a spot right in front of the home. What is your exact address? I'm sorry but I won't share that information until after a guest has booked. The reason I do this as well as why Airbnb doesn't provide exact addresses is to protect hosts from theft, and unannounced arrivals from people who might not have a reservation. If you would like to know how far the house is in relation to different places in the city I will be happy to share that with you though.

The SpaceThe Beech House is just that--a relaxed, cozy house for all seasons. It's a classic bungalow-style, and it has been very well-loved by all who have graced her rooms since it was built in 1925. The rooms have double beds, dressers, and closet space, plus room for a baby's travel crib. So, comfortably, two people (plus a baby) can fit in each of two rooms. The NeighborhoodThe historic Lakeside community is located in the thriving post-industrial arts district of Burlington's south end. This unique square of duplexes was built in the late 19th century to house lumber mill workers and their families. It is situated beside Lake Champlain and on the Burlington bike path. Lakeside Park, which is host to pick-up soccer games, a basketball court, playground, and a free winter ice skating rink, is central to the community, with the duplexes forming a square along its perimeter. Just down the street is the much larger Oakledge Park, which is complete with tennis courts, shuffleboard, a giant human sundial, and a very cool handicapped accessible tree house! The neighborhood beach is only 2 blocks from our house, and is the perfect spot to swim or catch the incredible sunset over Lake Champlain and the Adirondack mountains. Perhaps the most convenient feature of our neighborhood is that it is located directly on a popular bike and pedestrian path that follows the shoreline through Burlington, and continues 12.5 miles to a seasonal bike ferry that connects cyclists to the Champlain Islands and beyond. The path is popular among bicyclists, tourists, and commuters alike. In the winter you can ski on it! Getting AroundFree parking is available, both on and off-street. If you use our driveway, please stay to the far right. The left side belongs to our neighbors. We are 5.5 miles from the airport. There is cab service or Uber. Other Things to NoteWe have an infant daughter named Parker. She doesn't cry much and hasn't been heard by guests yet, but it is always a possibility. We do have sound machines in the guest rooms! We have an awesome cat named Macy. She barely sheds, but if you are very allergic you may want to look elsewhere.

The SpaceThe second-floor in-house suite has a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a sitting room with a pantry and private bath with a shower/tub fusion. A separate entrance allows you privacy to come and go as you please. The pantry in the suite is stocked with the local and/or organic breakfast foods so you can take breakfast at your leisure. There is one bathroom with shower on each floor, and a washer/dryer in the downstairs bathroom. The kitchen is decent size with lots of counters to help accommodate a lot of food prep. One of my favorite features of the house is the screened in porch in the front. Great for rainy days or later in the night after the bugs come out. The living room I have added a 60 inch TV which can get local over the air network channels. It also has Appletv which allows you to use HBOgo and Netflix. The backyard there is a small brick patio with gas weber grill. I'm focused on improving the backyard with such things as building a new wooden fence that lines the entire backyard, and getting grass to grow over the entire yard. Getting AroundA bus does go by but you should be happy walking, biking or if you want driving to get around town. In the summer downtown Burlington and the waterfront or only a 15 minute walk. Other Things to NoteI do have a giant friendly 180 pound St. Bernard so if you have dog allergies this might not be the best place to stay. We make every effort to clean up but full disclosure regarding that, and during shedding seasons there will be hair, even when I have the place professionally cleaned twice a week, I also schedule cleanings of the house the day of or the day before I do a full house rental. Naturally you can also expect the house to smell like a dog lives here. I am working on ways to mitigate that, but it is a reality of living with dogs in general especially very large dogs. If you would also like to bring a friendly dog to stay at my home, I most likely can accommodate that. I just request that you get permission from me, so that I am aware and also tell me a little about your dog, how they interact with larger dogs and things such as if they would be home at my house at all or with (EMAIL HIDDEN)mon Questions** How does the key exchange work? Actually I don't have a key, I use a keypad entry, which I can provide if I am unable to meet you at your arrival. Do you have parking? Getting AroundWe are 3.5 miles from the Burlington airport - about 15 minutes by taxi. A CCTA bus stop at the end of the street easily connects you to the Greater Burlington area. We're walking distance to the Megabus stop at UVM, and to the Lake Champlain Ferry. Other Things to NoteWe have a small, friendly, and hypoallergetic dog - a terrier named Bailey.

The SpaceThree rooms: living room, bedroom, kitchen. Clean, uncluttered. One new Ikea queen bed with 600-thread-count sheets and new feather pillows. Gas cooktop. Front porch is yours to enjoy. Child or even a third adult could sleep comfortably on couch.I've had a guest say that it's "smaller than it looks in the pictures." It's about 350 square feet. Then I'll be heading for my Maine place. Occasionally I've already left for Maine when guest arrives, in which case I leave the place open with key and a note inside on the table. The NeighborhoodQuiet street. JUST close enough to downtown and waterfront but far enough away to be quiet. Beware of apartments in the student zone between downtown and campus; noisy! Have never had a problem with other residents in the building, who are all nice young professionals. Coming soon: Gelato parlor just down the street. Getting AroundHalf-block from the bus stop.
