The Space2 Bedroom, 1 Bath, apartment in Bushwick. Includes 1 Full bed in private room. Right in the heart of Bushwick.
8-9 minute walk (0.6 miles) to the L train at Morgan Ave which is 6 stops or about 10 minutes into the lower East side of Manhattan.
The J, M, & Z trains are a 8 minute (half mile) walk away and also a few short stops to Manhattan depending on which train you take.
There are a million buses around also.
Bushwick is an exciting neighborhood that is growing and changing everyday! It's full of street art, cafes, hipster bars, loft parties/ art shows, great new restaurants, and a fabulous mix of people.
I will leave out "Not For Tourist" books, our favorite guide books for the city, and would love to give some insight on local hot spots for food, drinks, and entertainment. This is the real New York!
I also provide a neighborhood guide with all the best local spaces.
The bedroom available includes 1 full sized bed and some cool (hand painted) furniture: including some shelves and a desk/ fold out table.
I live here with my cat and dog. They are both cute and pretty quite. You are always free to shut them out of your room so they are not in your space. My dog is hypoallergenic and doesn't shed. The cat does but I keep everything well swept, vacuumed, wiped down. I hate pet hair too!
I am a student in a doctoral pharmacy program. I enjoy meeting traveling guests and new people. However, I spend most of my time at school, work or studying in my room. You may not even see much of me during your stay.
There is a kitchen equipped with any cooking supplies you may need, basic spices, cleaning supplies, etc.
Finally, the bathroom includes a tub/ shower, sink, and toilet of course. There are also more than enough linens and towels to go around.
Thank you for the interest & Happy travels! Guest AccessBeds

Interaction with GuestsI like meeting new people but am also busy. I would love to have a chat, share a coffee or glass of wine, but I will not be there all the time and you will have plenty of space! The NeighborhoodThis neighborhood is great, don't take my word for it, look it up on Yelp (MorganTown, JeffTown, East Williamsburg, Bushwick; all names for this area). Bushwick, it's where it's at right now in Brooklyn!
Getting AroundPublic transit is a half mile walk to the J, M & Z trains and a 0.6 mile walk to the L train. Both trains are a quick ride into Manhattan (11-15 minutes depending on the train and the time of day). Other Things to NoteThis is a great and trendy location. I leave all my guests tour guides I made of the neighborhood as well as reviews for local places. SO enjoy the local food, coffee, art, and culture.
