This 8th floor resort apartment is a stones throw from beautiful beaches, cafes, markets, bars, transport, local shopping & offers all the essentials for a great holiday. The Zen Luxury Resort Apartment is a one bedroom, one bathroom self contained apartment in the centre of Caloundra. It overlooks the ever changing Pummicestone Passage and Bribie Island and is minutes walk to cafes, award winning restaurants and the shopping precinct. Access to the unit is via the dual lifts which can be accessed direct from the undercover secure park or the street level foyer. I own and manage my unit independent from the Resort Management so you will deal directly with me or my gorgeous partner Helen throughout your stay. I have a fly in-fly out job so chances are I may not be around, but Helen lives locally so there will be always someone around to ensure that you have a happy holiday :) This zen styled apartment has a private balcony with spectacular views. It is on the 8th floor of an 11th floor apartment building . The local markets are held in Bulcock Street, Caloundra's main thoroughfare. Every Sunday from 8am to 1pm there is great ethnic cuisine and over 100 stalls to find that little something different . This apartment features a fully decked out kitchen with top of the range cooking equipment. Also featuring a bar height servery, wall oven, hot plates, double sink, dishwasher, toaster & jug, crockery, cutlery and all the kitchen gadgets. There is a washing machine and clothes dryer as well as the standard laundry tub. The bathroom has a bath/shower, (and separate toilet) so you can take a nice relaxing mineral salt bath and/or pamper yourself with a hydrating face mask after a day on the beach. The open planned lounge room includes a comfortable modular lounge suite, (where you can sit and take in the view or cosy up in front of the 50" flat screen TV with European surround sounds. Also connected to the TV is a hard drive with a good collection of the latest films. Unlimited speedy ADSL2+ Wireless Broadband access is also available . This private apartment has a balcony with an outdoor bar and chairs to enjoy a couple of quiet ones in a relaxed atmosphere with superb views. The bedroom has a comfortable modern queen size bed with side tables, linen and cushions. A single fold out bed can be set up in the lounge room for an additional person or a child, if needed. The NeighborhoodThe unit is located in a resort complex, so there no permanent neighbours to speak of, however, I just ask that you respect the other guests staying at the resort and keep noise turned down at a reasonable hour. Getting AroundAs everything you need is at your doorstep, you are walking distance to everything you need. There is public transport available if you wish to venture out and most tour companies will pick you up at the resort if you book a tour. The apartment also comes with one free parking space, which is located in a locked area. If you have a second vehicle, you will need to park in the visitors parking. If you are coming from Brisbane Airport, there are several options. 1. Get a shuttle bus direct to the door. 2. Get the train to Landsborough and catch the bus into town or hire a car from the airport. On departing, most shuttle buses require you to meet out at Daisy's Place which is a 15-20 minute taxi ride.

The NeighborhoodThe Kings Beach, Caloundra area is a lovely, peaceful beach getaway. It is slow paced and friendly. There are no bright lights or glitzy shops. Getting AroundGetting about is best done by car or walking. The public transport in the area is not ideal. Once established in the unit all beaches, shops and restaurants can be reached by walking. It's advised to hire a car to see the rest of the Sunshine Coast, which is easily accessed to all popular areas within an hour. Fully fenced with a grassed courtyard area at the front, room to roam around the side and a rear undercover entertainment area with BBQ & outdoor setting, it is an ideal vacation and location for the entire family, including your four legged family member. The generous open plan living / kitchen area is fully tiled with a comfy lounge suite, 101cm LCD HD T.V, Dvd and iphone / ipod docking station with radio.The living area also has fixed temp air conditioning (24 degrees). The black granite kitchen is well equipped and lends itself to plenty of little helpers. The 3 bedrooms are upstairs.The main bedroom has the warmth of a Timber/rattan Queen Bed with side tables and the comfort of air conditioning and ceiling fan.The main bedroom also has a LCD T.V / DVD. The second bedroom has a King Bed that converts to 2 singles with side tables and lamps. The third bedroom has a Single bed with a Trundle. Both with Sliding glass doors to the balcony and wall fans. Along the Bulcock Beach esplanade is BBQ's and Picnic Tables. This is a patrolled beach. It has a water passage, which kids and Adults alike travel along with the current. This is great fun and is within the flags. HAPPY VALLEY BEACH: Happy Valley Beach & Parklands are also a short stroll from the Townhouse. There is a fantastic playground with BBQ's, picnic areas & Espresso Kiosk. There is also a shallow sandbar for the little ones to play. A recreational park with plenty of grass for playing sports and plenty of trees for shade. Relaxing in the Parklands while enjoying an espresso with the paper is a favorite pastime of ours. KINGS BEACH: Kings Beach and Water Parkland are also close by, an easy stroll along the Boardwalk. This is also patrolled and there is a Seaside Ocean Pool is free. Kings Beach has beachside Cafes, Restaurants & our Surf Club. Caloundra is home to seven of the most stunning beaches on the Sunshine Coast with plenty of Beach options for kids and dogs alike. PET FRIENDLY: Happy Valley Beach is a short stroll. This is our local Dog Friendly Park and Beach on leash area.
