    This two level walkout is Located on Lake Skogman and less than one hour from the Twin Cities. The home is located on the East side of the Lake providing spectacular sunsets and over 200' of lake frontage. The Upper Level offers 3 Bedrooms, Full Kitchen, Bath, Living Room, Fireplace and Wrap Around Deck. The Oversized Windows and Patio Doors offer a panoramic view of the lake. The Living Room boasts Knotty Pine Walls, Vaulted ceiling, Ceramic floors and Ceiling Fans. The Lower Level offers a Full Bath, Large Entertainment and game room, Laundry Room and Cement Patio. This level offers all Oak trim and Railing, Ceramic Floor, Full Pool Table, Bumper Pool Table, Card Table, Exercise Bicycle, TV and Sleeper. To view information on Lake Skogman go to the DNR Web Site. If you key in DNR Web Site in most search engines (google) you'll find the site. Maximum guess are 7 but at times we have allowed additional guests. If additional guests are allowed there will be a $50 per person added on to the total rental fee. Scrapbooking: We'll make it happen. Restrictions: 3 cars max parking and absolutely no more than 7 staying overnight and no sleeping on sofa.

The NeighborhoodHalf year round homes and half cabins. This is a year round with modern heating and air conditioning. Soft water. Very friendly neighbors. No pets or smoking. Pin on map is exact, but says it on a lane, but it's on an Ave. This is 25 feet from gorgeous very swimable lake! Getting AroundMinneapolis international airport is 55 minutes away. Located 8 miles off I35 on the way to Duluth or go south to the Twin Cities. There are two parking spaces available and use of garage to get bikes if so desired. Nice yard gently sloping to 75 feet of sand beach shore! Other Things to NoteMany loons (new family of 4 ), ducks, water fowl of all types. Close to area restaurants. Bikes available for small charge. Very quiet, built in 2007-8 and is very high end.

WiFi, wireless internet and cable TV. Guest AccessThe lake cabin is all yours! If you have your own boat, there is a public access on the lake and you can tie up at the cabin's dock. This changes as we enter the Fall Season...owner will remove the dock, as the weather dictates, but the view from the deck and fire pit are beautiful. Interaction with GuestsWe live right next door, so we are available to you as much or as little as you want. The NeighborhoodThere are houses and cabins all around the lake. Some are seasonal homes only, and others are year round homes. Everyone enjoys a variety of activities from boating, fishing, skiing, tubing, swimming and even gardening. Be advised: There is no deck railing-lakeside and we have 2 tall, boulder walls, which also creates steps to mid-level and to the lake. Getting AroundYou would need a rental car to get around. Your rental car can take you to a public transit route, and then light rail can get you around the fabulous cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis. In the cities, there are buses, taxis, bikes to rent, or you can ride the light rail. Other Things to NoteYou will need a rental car to get here. A convenience store/gas station/bait shop/pizza is nearby and all other services/restaurants/stores are within 10-15 minutes. Personal property is not covered. Guests are responsible.

Carpet up, wood floors down. Former dairy farm, 80 acres of hayfields/pasture along a country road. In season, enjoy veggie and flower gardens; mature oaks tower and surround the house. Grab a deck chair or a throw & curl up on the couch, read a book, relax in a comfy deck rocking chair, watch DVDs, play games, do a puzzle, sit on the deck and daydream or read a book! Take a walk in country air. Just remember, no wifi or TV available here. Lots of DVDs though and country air! Guest AccessPick fresh produce direct from the garden, lounge on the deck over looking established gardens and apple trees. Take a leisurely walk along a country road or through the hayfield. (There could be ticks in the fields!) Prepare meals in the kitchen. Access to freezer, fridge, microwave, laundry as needed. The NeighborhoodOak Rock farm is located in the country, about 2 miles off highway 65 along a county and township road ... a yard light but no city lights, some road and local farm noise and sometimes smells. Beef cattle are in the pasture. Getting AroundYou will need a car to reach Oak Rock or a bike and strong legs. The back country roads are great for leisurely bike rides or walks. Other Things to NoteNearest town, Mora, has a grocery store and gas - 9 miles away; Cambridge is about 20 miles south on MN 65/95 with Target and grocery stores, even a health coop. Duluth is about 100 miles north, MSP airport about 90 miles. Lakes nearby within a few miles, closest is Lewis Lake.

Mission style living area furniture, log bedroom furniture and a knotty pine interior create an authentic “Up North” feel. The great room living space is versatile to accommodate small and large size family or group gatherings during any season. Step out from the great room or the master bedroom onto the broad deck. The deck has furniture groupings for dining and lounging. The large yard with fire ring, horseshoe pit, beach and dock offer ample space for outdoor recreation. Lake Fannie (350 acre in size) has fishing year around for Smallmouth Bass, Rock Bass, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Muskie, Sunfish, Northern Pike, and Perch. Recently guests have reported experiencing an owl as the sun sets in a tree directly in front of the living room (spring 2016).       Lake home that sleeps 15! Two Full bedrooms + one 'nook' with a bunk bed. One 1/2 bath and one full bath & laundry in the main cabin. New in July 2013, we added a detached 'guest cabin' that sleeps another 6 people! Wake up and enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the lake from the Kitchen table or the deck with a cup of coffee in hand! Fire pit with plenty of firewood stacked up for hours of campfire fun! Don't forget to bring smore's stuff! Swingset for the kiddos, and a nice big swing that overlooks the lake for the couples. Swim raft with a fun twisty slide provides hours of fun for the kids (or adults!). Lounge on the lake, fish off the dock, or bring up your boat for some fun boating! You are able to swim right off the dock. Gas grill is also provided. In the winter months, state trails for snowmobiling are located just a few miles from our cabin. They are easily accessible from the cabin, so no need to trailer sleds to the trails, simply ride across the lake and pick up the trail all the way to Duluth. Mora is also the home for the cross country ski race Vasaloppet USA, every February. Most of all, come ready to have fun, relax, and leave feeling refreshed!

Fish year-around for Walleye, Northern, Channel Catfish, Sunfish, Crappies, Perch, etc. Pontoon boats, fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, and jet skis are all welcome on the lake; no motor size restrictions. The Ann River and Snake River run through the lake, which makes for great fishing and water sports. Shallow lake with 12 foot maximum depth. GREAT FISHING right off the dock! Cabin is very cozy and sleeps up to 10. Main floor open kitchen/living area, two bedrooms and bath up, and additional bedroom and family area lower. Private dock on premises for your exclusive use. This year round lake home is furnished and set with everything you need - just bring your swimming suit, some sunscreen and your fishing pole. Easy access to Fish Lake from your private dock; the fishing is great and the gradual slope of the lake shore makes for child friendly swimming. Enjoy gorgeous views of the lake from the main floor living, kitchen and dining room, both bedrooms and 3 decks. (One queen bed up and 4 twin beds on main level.) Full bath on main floor. Cabin is fully furnished with towels, linens and kitchen pots, pans, dishes and utensils provided. DVD player, family friendly games, books, kids toys and portable crib available for use. While we don't have onsite internet most mobile hotspots work here. Due to the need to clean between guests (just like a hotel) check in time is 4 pm and check out time is 11 am. A 'Weekly' rental consists of 6 nights. Summer weekend rates are slightly higher than weekday, 3 night rental minimum. You can boat across the lake to the Fish Lake Resort for a beer and game of pool.
