The SpaceThe villa consist of four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms with an open plan. It's child friendly, with a playgound in the front yard and a gate that closes off the pool area from the veranda. The villa has a large great room which houses the kitchen, dining and living room. Open air showers with a stunning view of the tropical stars at night ensuits each bedroom. All the bedrooms are airconditioned. It contains all mordern appliances including a refridgerator with water and ice dispenser. The backyard has it's own natural lily pond and a gazebo for visitors who wish to meditate,find the perfect yoga position or simply relax. Lucky visitors may even have the opportunity to pick their own tropical fruits such as fresh coconuts, sour sop, passion fruits and wax apple, when in season, just to name a few of what can be found growing in the backyard.

The kitchen is well equipped, and has a fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster, coffee maker, blender and full cooker. The Beach is 10 min walk away and Pigeon Island National Park is a 15 min walk from the condo. Gros Islet where the lively Jump UP street party is held every Friday night, is also nearby. The beach, restaurants, and night-life, of the Reduit Beach/Rodney Bay area are a five minute drive away, and the secluded beaches of Smugglers Cove, and Cotton Bay are within easy reach - horse riding, and kitesurfing are available at Cotton bay. Getting AroundRodney Bay is a five min drive, and the Marina, with its bars/restaurants, and stunning yachts, is also within a short drive/walking distance. Visitors may find it useful to hire a car but Taxis are readily available, and not expensive. e,g, EC$30 in a taxi to Rodney Bay Please note, Supermarkets and shops generally do not accept USD 100 bills. Other Things to NoteElectricity is an additional charge and is charged at cost. The condo is individually metered and a reading is taken on arrival and then again at departure.     The SpaceVilla Valerie is on the first floor, overlooking the huge adult swimming pool and shaded kids pool in an exclusive holiday village in St Lucia. One double bedroom (king size bed), and one twin bedroom (which can be made into one king bed), two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen. The condo has a modern, stylish look, with marble bathrooms, tasteful furniture, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. It's right by the quiet, sandy beach, with safe swimming and a colourful local beach bar. Hire car is recommended and I can provide a useful guide to having fun in St Lucia! Half price offer - from 20th June for 4 weeks, the villa is only $50 USD per night, as the pool decking is being replaced. You will have access to a private pool nearby, but the main pool will be out of action. The secure, gated holiday village is right next to the only 18 hole championship golf course on St Lucia. The best kite-surfing school in St Lucia is right there on Cas-en-Bas beach - Aquaholics - check out their website. May brings the International Jazz festival, and every Friday night an unmissable street party - known as the jump-up - in the local town of Rodney Bay (10 mins by car). You can walk the rainforest trails, go horse-riding on the beach, take a sunset cruise to view the magnificent Piton peaks, visit the Soufriere Volcano and wallow in the natural hot springs and mud baths there. Or you can island hop to nearby Martinique. Swim, dive and snorkel in the crystal clear waters around St Lucia, or just kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet while you sip cocktails at sunset on your own private balcony. Please note, there is a $100 US cleaning fee, plus your electricity, which is metered, so you only pay for what you use, at cost. Electricity is expensive in St Lucia at $1.08 ECD per kwh, so go easy on the aircon! Guest AccessAs it's the only holiday village on the bay, guests have the beach almost to themselves. Guests can also swim in the large (35 metre) adult pool, while there is a smaller shaded pool for toddlers. Activities include kite surfing, kayaking, horse-riding on the beach, snorkelling. Boat trips can be arranged for sight-seeing and diving. You can also visit Martinique for the day. A highly recommended local lady offers babysitting if required. The key for Villa Valerie is in a key safe is right by the door, code is 1902. When you get to Cotton Bay Village, the security on the gate will ask which villa you are staying in. Number 69 is straight down the main drive, passing a turning to your right, straight on until you see trees ahead and the road narrows considerably. 69 is on the upper storey in the building to your right. There are three parking spaces to your right, go round to the front of the building, up the staircase (where the railings are about to be replaced by the management as they have been badly eroded by the salt air) and 69 is the one to the left of the hallway. When you arrive, the electricity may be switched off. If so, you'll need to go to the main power box located on the wall in the alcove to the left of the master bedroom door (stright into the living room, door on your left). Other Things to NoteIt is very peaceful, there are no restaurants or shops at Cotton Bay, apart from a local beach restaurant, Marjories, which is not always open, especially in the evenings. So make sure you stock up on groceries before you arrive.

The property also has mosquito screens installed throughout and free wifi internet access. The fully appointed kitchen means that you have the choice of eating in or alfresco on the covered terrace. The NeighborhoodSt Lucia is an unspoilt, beautiful island in the Caribbean Ocean with a lovely climate all year round. The Island's relaxed lifestyle allows you to switch off completely and take in it's natural beauty and the people are very welcoming and friendly. Cotton Bay Village is a secluded condominium on the North East of St Lucia set in beautifully landscaped tropical gardens. It consists of only 72 units: stand-alone villas and small apartment blocks housing 3/4 apartments. Natural and unspoilt Cas en Bas Beach is only one hundred yards from the apartment and provides a lovely, cooling breeze. If you are a kite-surfer or would like to take lessons, there are 2 kite-surfing schools right there on the beach. Also, you can enjoy a drink or two at Marjory's local beach bar. Plenty of opportunity to relax or if you want to try something more energetic utilise some of the local sporting amenities - kite surfing, golf, tennis, yoga to name but a few. Try out the new Diving Centre near Rodney Bay Marina or simply take in the amazing Caribbean sea life by putting on your snorkel. Rodney Bay is a 15 min drive away and has a range of restaurants catering for all tastes and night life available for you to enjoy. Every Friday night there is a street party in nearby Gros Islet known as the "Jump Up" where you can sample local food and music. For food shopping you can choose between Super J's and GL Food Market in Rodney Bay. Super J's is the local chain of supermarkets with general groceries and local produce and GL Food Market sells some UK products. If you wish to go further afield there are lots of excursions/tours that you can take on the Island i.e. boat trips down to the south to see the Pitons, drive-in volcano where you can wallow in the mud baths and hot sulphur springs and visit the botanical gardens and waterfalls; spend a day at sea sport fishing or whale & dolphin watching; zip line through the treetops of the rainforest or take an aerial tram to enjoy the flora and fauna ; the Jaquot Trail affords hikers opportunities to learn about the flora and fauna of St Lucia; Bean to Bar experience at Hotel Chocolat which ends with you making a chocolate bar using estate grown cocoa; Castries Waterworks forest reserve is a favoured environment for birdwatchers; day trip to Martinique (90 min journey) - take seasickness tablets if you suffer in that way; jeep safari or island buggy. For the more adventurous you could climb Mount Gimie which is the tallest mountain on the island, the peak reaches 3117ft, or the view from the Gros Piton is apparently amazing. Getting AroundA taxi to Rodney Bay from the apartment will cost around USD16 one way. If you plan to see more of the island you might consider hiring a car to give you maximum flexibility. For info, Hewanorra Airport (1.5 hours away) & George Charles Airport (30 mins away). Helicopter is available between airports. Other Things to NoteThere is a set of golf clubs available in the apartment if you were interested in playing at the St Lucia Golf Club, which is next door to the property, or you can hire clubs at the Golf Club. The Golf Club provides free pick up service. Green fees vary but around USD 120 per 18 holes including golf buggy. Every year at the end of April/beginning of May there is a Music & Arts Festival held on the island. Guest artists over the years have included George Benson, John Legend, Natalie Cole, Amy Winehouse, the O'Jays and R Kelly. The Festival also features some very talented local performers/musicians.

In the perfect location for both a quiet relaxing holiday or a more energetic holiday or a bit of both. Situated in a gated community with 24 hour security, right on the golf course and only a 7 minute casual walk (2 minute drive) to the beach. 10 minutes away by car is the main tourist area of Rodney Bay village and marina with its many shops, bars restaurants and casino. The villa is fully equipped including Cable HDTV, DVD player (and lots of DVD's), Internet, Wi-Fi, IPod dock with wireless speakers, CD player, Playstation (with lots of games), electric piano, golf clubs and projector. Also a fully equipped kitchen including an American style fridge/freezer with ice maker, microwave, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine with tumble dryer, blender, juicer, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. The patio with a plunge pool and fountain, is really special and a great place to be day or night. The view across the golf course down to the ocean is fabulous. The complex has a large swimming pool 70 yards from the villa. The bedrooms all have air-conditioning and ceiling fans. The villa is one of only two in the community that has a double sized patio, it has the best view of the sea from the patio and the patio is not overlooked. The cost includes our housekeeper coming in once a week for 4 hours to clean the villa and make up the beds. Doretta (our villa manager) will also be there on arrival to introduce the villa. Do not worry if your flight is late she will monitor its arrival. If required we can organise a local chef to come in and cook a special meal as well as stocking the freezer with superb meals so you do not have to cook. The cost is only an additional £50.00 for 5 hours 30% of the rental cost is payable with the booking and the balance is due 8 weeks before arrival. Cancellations will not receive a refund but date changes (if available) are permissible more than 8 weeks prior to arrival with no loss of deposit.. A security/breakages deposit is required 2 weeks before arrival and given no problems will be refunded on the day of departure.       The SpaceSituated within easy striking distance of two lovely Caribbean beaches , less than a 7 minute drive from the sort after Rodney Bay Strip, and a short drive to be the Rodney Bay Marina, Pigeon Island National Park/ Beach is this 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom two-story home. The villa is located in the quite middle to high income neighborhood of Belle View. This is the perfect family villa for someone who wants to appreciate a Caribbean lifestyle at its best. From many of the rooms in this villa, you can see the most magnificent view of the Caribbean Sea and surrounding areas. The open concept of the villa allows for fresh air to flow through it. A relaxed day can be spent on the wide, spacious deck, watching the birds sing, or better, memorized by the sea view trying to figure out where the sky ends and the sea begins. Cooling off is a treat in the beautiful infinity pool which gives the illusion that you can just reach out and touch the sky, it is then you realize that you are indeed in paradise. Spread out over three floors, this airy open spacious villa contains living space, divided over three bedrooms on two floors. With the usual spaces for living, kitchen, dining being an open concept, there are two living room areas for entertaining. Each bedroom with their en suite bathrooms has its own balcony for quite time after a long hard day, are all located on the top floor. The master bedroom is spacious, with natural sunlight filtering in through doors which face the spectacular Caribbean Sea. The en suite bathroom features a Jacuzzi bath, a shower stall, and a large walk in closet. The second floor of the villa runs level with the access road, so that the parking for at least vehicles gives way onto the main entrance which is accessed by a remote controlled gate. Upon entering the front doors, it is hard not to note the craftsmanship displayed in the woodwork which can be seen immediately. From the front door, you can decide if to proceed upstairs to the bedrooms, or continue on to the living space. The kitchen is to one side and a mezzanine informal dining area is near. Much detail was put into kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is spacious and very practical, with a bar type counter which separates the kitchen from the cozy dining area. A large fridge and dishwasher can also be found in the kitchen. Off the kitchen is a nice sized laundry and guest bath. Steps away you, through a door, you can be lead onto the massive deck giving access to swimming pool with pool. On the opposite side of the kitchen, you are lead to a cozy family area. A few steps down leads you to another very open space, which houses the formal living and dining areas, with a fully equipped pool table for entertaining. This beautiful home is the right option for a small family of two, who loves to entertain, or a lager family or small group looking for comfort with this elegantly designed villa. If you will be flying into the Hewanorra International Airport in St. Lucia, the airport is about an hour and a half drive to Rodney Bay Strip and the surrounding areas. This drive in itself is like a mini tour as you see so much on the way to the villa. Airport transfers are included in the cost of the villa rental. We are very honest when we say that the drive from the airport to the villa is not the easiest one. One of the things which makes this beautiful island stand out from the others, is the ability to see a breathtaking view from so many different inclines. Due our hilly terrain, we have may cliffs, peaks, and sharp corners, which if you are not familiar with, can be a bit hair raising. in the beginning. One of our biggest nemesis on the island is the fact that we do not have street names or numbers. You really need to know where you are going to in order to find it. It is a bit challenging to give directions to the villa from the airport when the roads are not signed. We care about your safety and ask that you wait to explore the island at least after you have had a full nights rest. Don’t try to do it as soon as you land here. You have been on the go for hours prior to arriving, may have not slept at all the night before preparing for your travels. Depending on where you are coming from, you may have been traveling for 12 hours or more, you are exhausted by the time you arrive here. To avoid any incidents, we suggest that you take the option of having us organize your transfer for you. When you get to the villa, and you have rested, with fresh eyes in the morning, you can begin the adventure! If you insist on driving yourselves, I ask that you allow us to assist you with booking the vehicle rental. We can have the vehicle available to you at the airport when you arrive, or at the villa when you get here if you choose. When it comes to choice about companies to rent the vehicle from, you need to be careful. As you can imagine, we do tremendous amount of business in this industry and have forged relationships with partners who trust and will treat our guests to our standards. We know the standard of vehicles which our partners offer, and the support service in case there are issues. Looking for the cheapest option, or perhaps thinking that it is better stick with a name that you know may seem like the way to go, however, things do not necessarily work the same over here. To be clear, we do not get kickbacks from our rental car partners, and our only interest is that you are taken care of effectively. This past Christmas season was a testament to what we speak of. Guests who opted to make their own arrangements elsewhere were without vehicles for their entire vacation as the reservations had been cancelled and were only told when they arrived on the island. November – March is the busiest time on the island, all vehicles were sold out for the Christmas holidays. Now that they were on island, looking for a rental proofed fruitless due to the fact that they were booking last minute. It eventually cost the guests more money to go out and about taking taxis everywhere, and of course ruined their vacations. If you have questions about the process, please feel free to ask. If you prefer, you also have the option to hire a vehicle which can be arranged for airport pick up and drop off. You also have the option to have the vehicle waiting for you at the villa. Imagine having a sunset massage near the pool, or get a Therapeutic or Restorative Acupuncture session. If you are a Yoga lover or have never tried yoga before, you can have a private yoga class with Lenka on the pool deck. (These three services are at an additional fee) Let us know ahead and we can arrange it before you arrive. Finally, we are here to see to it that you have a fantastic holiday. We can pre stock your kitchen cupboards ahead so when you get here you can get to the business of relaxing!
