The SpaceThe house has three separate sleeping area. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed and a full bath with tub and shower. There is a downstairs bedroom with a queen size bed and a half bath and there is a loft with two twin beds and a half bath. There is a full bathroom with a tub and shower off of the living room and there is a hot/cold water shower outside the back of the house. The kitchen is completely equipped, there is great Wifi throughout the house which is good because cell reception here is terrible, there are TVs in every bedroom and a large one in the living room and the loft has many DVDs for you to enjoy. The house is decorated in a whimsical Key West style and is equipped with just about everything you need for a beach vacation. The area the house is in is unique. Money Bayou was the first African American Beach resort in the United States. The historic Money Beach Inn was located right near where our home currently sits. Money Bayou is adjacent to the St. Joe Buffer Preserve. This preserve is a natural wonderland of native Florida fauna and flora. There is plenty do do in the Port St. Joe area but you can also just decide to stay at our wonderful home and relax. You will have a fantastic time enjoying the sweeping Gulf views from the living room, kitchen, dining room, loft, sun deck and screened porch and if you decide to stroll along our quiet and award winning beaches, you can find a variety of seashells to collect, watch the dolphins swimming by, see the mullet jumping in the bayou or catch the eagles and osprey scouting for prey. Biking on the Cape San Blas bike path, kayaking in the Gulf or Bayou, snorkeling in the bay, shelling and maybe finding a sand dollar, swimming, sunbathing, fishing in the surf or crabbing in the bayou are always a lot of fun. Our home is equipped with a tandem Kayak, two beach cruiser bikes, beach toys, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, tennis rackets, crabbing nets and casting nets, a l trap, tennis crab trap, buckets, a car bike rack, a Tommy Bahama Beach cart, a rolling cooler, an outdoor campground style charcoal grill, a hot/cold outdoor shower, a fish cleaning station a toddler blow-up pool and probably a lot more that I cannot think of right now!! We have three to four beach cruisers. They seem to require pretty constant maintenance so we can never absolutely guarantee that every guests will have use of the bicycles. In general, at least two of the bicycles work but last year there was a 2 week period where all for bikes had one issue or another. Our property manager will not maintain the bicycles so we do this ourselves but we do not live close enough to come weekly . We do stock extra tools extra inner tubes , Etc but not everyone is knowledgeable in bike maintenance or repair. All this is to say that you will likely have bicycles to use but we don't guarantee it. Our neighborhood is extremely quiet and friendly, with no through traffic. It is a great place for families with children, or for anyone who just wants to get away from it all! Money Bayou is just a short walk down the beach where you can catch blue crabs, throw your cast net or put in your kayak to explore the winding waterway. Scalloping in nearby St. Joe Bay is also a lot of fun during the summer scallop season. These sweet, tender delicacies are a favorite for dinner or can be frozen to be enjoyed later when you return home. In addition, nearby Indian Pass is famous for its delicious oysters! Guest AccessWe try to simplify what you need to pack by providing all your linens, including beach towels, as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, and detergents. For your convenience, we also have a tandem Kayak, a kayak cart and a Tommy Bahama Beach Cart with Umbrella to easily tote all your things to the beach. We maintain a supply of beach chairs, rafts, crab nets and a crab trap, boogie boards, wave boards, noodles, shovels, pails, grilling utensils and beach toys! Interaction with GuestsI would love to interact with my guest as much as they would like. I do not live in Port St. Joe so our interactions would be by phone or email. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is extremely quiet and friendly, with no thru traffic - a great place for families with children, or for anyone who just wants to get away from it all! Getting AroundYou will need a car to get around but the Indian Pass Raw Bar, an area landmark is just a mile away and we bike there all the time! Other Things to NoteOur property manager charges us more than we charge you for oversight, cleaning, maintenance and linens. To cover these expenses we require a minimum of 3 days during our slow season and 7 days during Spring Break and during the Summer.

Situated on the 1st tier you can see the beach on either side of the two beach front houses located in front of our house. Just 300 feet from the back deck of the house are 2 boardwalks to the beach. Each boardwalk is about 300 feet in length with beautiful views of the ocean and beach. World renowned for nature activities such as fishing, scalloping, kayaking, boating, shell collecting, horseback riding, and bird, butterfly, dolphin and wildlife watching. These and other nature based activities are just outside your door. The best kept secret of Florida. Vacation in the modern convenience of home with cable TVs, VCRs and a DVD, wireless high speed Internet, a fully equipped kitchen (you just bring the food), large dining area, Ralph Lauren luxury linen, two comfortable leather couches, fireplace, central heat and air, a game closet, a small book collection, and an expansive covered deck and uncovered deck with Gulf views. The downstairs contains the kitchen, dining room, living room and a bathroom (which can also be accessed through the side entrance to the house) as well as the front and rear deck. The upstairs contains the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The front bedroom contains a bathroom, the master bedroom also has a bathroom with a vanity area, and the third bedroom is accessible through the master bedroom (it does not have an attached bathroom but the other two upstairs rooms do). This is a well maintained and cared for home. Pet and Child Friendly! Non Smoking! Located just 300 feet from two different boardwalks to the beach. The NeighborhoodThe Amazing Grace Beach House is in a group of houses known as "Cape Dunes" many of the houses are second or vacation homes. Being just steps from the beach is awesome as is thesurrounding natural and relaxing environment. I have been there and seen bald eagles, dolphin, sea turtle hatchlings making their trip from the nest to the sea... awe inspiring full moon rising over the water and sunsets over the water and once, both at the same time (absolutely incredible). Getting AroundNo public transit, no taxi or car service you will need private transportation if you want to go anywhere. There is a bike lane on the main road the runs the length of the Cape, so as long as you are stocked up with food you would not need anything other than a bike to get to the small grocery / convenience stores for supplies and additional food. Other Things to NoteYou are close to St. Joseph bay (you can see it through the trees from the front deck of the house - and you clearly see the Gulf of Mexico from the back deck of the house).

The SpaceThis rare and unusual two way waterfront home is located on the uncrowded beach haven of Indian Pass, the beach our family of many generations has come to love over the years. Spanning from the beach along the Gulf of Mexico in the front to the Indian Lagoon in the rear, our unique beach retreat that touches both sides of the peninsula provides a diverse and exciting experience while still retaining that much wanted homey feel. Although many great restaurants are nearby, the house has a great kitchen for preparing delicious seafood meals of your own. The remodeled home features a dock reaching out into the lagoon, a wrap around screened in porch, a private trail to the beach, and an out house perfect for rinsing off all the sand and salt after a long and relaxing day on the quite beach. The house has four bedrooms but can comfortably sleep two also on the pullout sofa. Two bedrooms on the left side of the house have queen size bed and share a bathroom ***((bath tub doesn't work - the old claw tub is just for looks)). There are also two bedrooms on the right side. One being the master bedroom containing a king size bed and its own tv. The other room contains a queen size bed and a bunk bed, all sleeping four (This is usually the kids room). These two rooms share a full bathroom. Additionally, there is a outdoor bath that looks like an out house! This is everyone's favorite spot for a shower but it also includes a toilet and a sink! It is outdoors, so there may be a few leaves and a frog or two. Between the bedrooms is a spacious living room containing a couch and a tv. There is also a dining/card table in this room too. This living room connects to the kitchen in the rear. The kitchen has been remodeled and contains all the necessary cooking equipment for big family meals. There will be some food and spices in the pantry and in various cabinets which guests are welcome to use as long as the items are replaced. Connected to the kitchen is also an additional living room with another small tv. The guests will have access to the beach house in its entirety. A few beach chairs and umbrellas, crab traps, and numerous fun beach toys and shovels for the kids are usually there, but bring some if you want to be sure or if you are picky. Also golf carts, paddle boards, kayaks, bicycles, horses, and motor boats can be rented nearby. With quiet beaches, fantastic fishing, and an abundance of wild life, Indian Pass is the perfect place for a family beach get away. Unlike the more recognizable beaches, Indian pass provides a secluded and almost private beach experience perfect for uninterrupted relaxation. If crowded beaches are you thing or if you kids just want something different for a day, Panama City is just over an hour away; perfect for a day trip to get a taste of the chaos. If you are looking for a local outing there are many options as well. Located just across from the tip of the peninsula lies St. Vincent's Island, an uninhabited national wildlife refuge open to the public. Alive with exotic and native species, the popular destination is accessible by shuttle boat or personal water craft only; there is a public boat launch available if you bring your own boat. We have visited the island numerous times, and it is always a great outing for the entire family. In search of some local seafood? Just down the road from the beach dwelling is the famous Indian Pass Raw Bar. Treat yourself to some wonderful seafood and fantastic live music as you mingle with the locals. There are many other fun things to do as well if you just want to get out of the house. Near by you can rent horses and take them out on the beach for a trot. If you are feeling a bit more adventurous you could also rent a boat and take it out for some snorkeling and exploration in the bay. Their is plenty of parking for cars. If you have a jeep or four wheel drive car bring it! You will not regret it. With a beach driving permit available from Gulf County (for long term stays), you may take your off road vehicle out for an exciting beach excursion. This house is Not the Ritz Carlton, it's not perfect, it (like the owners) has its flaws but has proven to be a fantastic beach retreat for generations (this is where I put where to find the key). During the summer the bugs can sometimes get pretty bad so I would strongly recommend bringing bug spray. Sun screen is a more obvious necessity. Port St. Joe Marina info for boat rentals. Port St. Joe Marina 340 Marina Drive Port St. Joe, Florida 32456 St Vincent Island Shuttles Service: 690 Indian Pass Rd Port St Joe, FL Airports: The closest commercial airport is in Panama City. Just over an hour away. 6300 W Bay Pkwy Panama City, FL Sea Turtles are huge are extremely important to the area. Their nesting season is from may to October so if you visit during those months please be extra careful. Please don't disturb the nests, and also please turn off all of the lights of the house, even the porch lights, during the season to avoid confusing and scaring the turtles away. The lagoon behind the house is a great place to relax on the dock. If the tide is down, you can see the oyster beds rising above the muck, squirting, snapping, and waiting for the water to rise again. Neat spot!! Guest AccessThe entire home is available to the guests. A few items are stored in the carport behind the back of the house and should not be disturbed. Please don't drink our wine. Bring your own! :-) There is a charcoal grill on the property, be sure to bring your own charcoal and starter fluid. Please clean your charcoal debris from the grill after it has completely gone out and stopped burning. Use water to be sure. Do not put hot coals into the trash can. Interaction with GuestsWe do not live in the area so the guest interaction will be via phone and email, although someone will be there to check guests in if arranged in advance. A code to the key box will be provided upon confirmation. For maintenance call Glen at (phone number hidden) The NeighborhoodWe love that the location is not in the middle of the crowded condo farms like the big beach areas. We've never encountered drunk teens, noisy parties, or trash strewn all over the beach. We often bring our small boat (a Boston Whaler) and take it right down to the ramp, put it in the water and go fishing for cruising. Getting AroundBring a car, get a beach driving permit (long term renters). Also there are supposedly folks who rent golf carts that you can have for the week. We used to have one down there when we went more often. You can rent one from Glen at (phone number provided upon confirmation). If you book last minute, we may not have time to go dust and sweep up the dead bugs that tend to accumulate if it's been a while since someone has been there. Please understand this and just take a few moments with the broom and tidy up. Over the years, we have used charcoal grills to cook outside. With the salt air, they tend to rust out over time. If grilling is super important to you, I recommend picking up a small charcoal grill in case the one down there is not up to your standards (or missing altogether!) Long term renters may want to consider getting a beach driving permit. I believe the county has stopped issuing short term permits. If you find any problem with the house such as a hole in the screen, the air conditioning not working quite right or anything that needs additional cleaning, please let us know right away. You're our direct connection to the condition of the house. We only make it there a couple times a year and need your help to let us know if we need to call our cleaning crew or maintenance people to take care of anything for you. Thank you so much. If you are looking for lots of action on the beach, this isn't the place for you. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation with a dog-friendly beach and friendly neighbors, this is the place you want to be. Getting AroundA car is required. There are lots of bike trails, but it's a few miles into town.

          'Get Your Bathing Suit On'is a custom-built, Key West-style beach home that has RELAX written all over it! This first-tier home is less than 100 steps to the beautiful, white, sandy beach on the Gulf of Mexico. The gorgeous Gulf beach views can be appreciated from the living room, dining room, the loft, the porch, the deck and the kitchen of our home. With its 3 separate sleeping areas,with a total of four baths,screened porch and sundeck, our whimsically-decorated home can easily accommodate a family or small group... but is still small enough for couples on a romantic getaway!! For your convenience, we have a tandem Kayak, a Stand Up Paddle Board, a Beach Cart with Umbrella to easily tote all your things to the beach. We maintain a large list of beach supplies and equipment for you to use while staying with us. We have, for your use, a large cooler, sand mats, rafts, crab nets, crab bucket and a crab trap. We do have three to four beach cruisers. They seem to require pretty constant maintenance so we can never absolutely guarantee that every guests will have use of the bicycles. We also have wave boards,, large outdoor grill, grilling utensils, tennis rackets and other beach toys! The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and appliances but you will need to bring napkins, paper towels and storage wrap from home. It is one of the newer homes in the secluded gated community of Barrier Dunes. Since purchasing the home last year, I have screened in the back porch, added a deck to the lake, and enclosed the outdoor shower. The home is situated on one of Barrier Dunes's small lakes. The home overlooks the tranquil fountain with a small ocean view from the third floor balcony. It has a concrete driveway and covered parking for your car and boat. My home is a very private end unit and is perfectly located in Barrier Dunes. The ocean, beautiful beach, tennis courts two pools and children's playground are all within 470 steps or less from my home. Beach-Berry is a well cared for townhome in a secure family community. I have added many touches to make this your very special home away from home. It is beautifully decorated in the colors of the sea and sand with a beach breezy nautical decor. A bottle of Beach Berry wine, a product of the Chautauqua Winery, will be waiting for you upon arrival. An electric grill and a newly added 4 burner gas grill is on the back porch for you to grill up the catch of the day. I have even included some spices and cookbooks. China, silverware and glasses will accomodate at least eight. For your grooming and comfort needs, I have included extra coat hangers, an iron/ironing board, and a hair dryer. I stock good quallity linens, thick towels, soaps, soft tissue paper and paper towels. The laundry room on the home's main floor has a full size washer and dryer. My townhome will sleep a maximum of 6 adults and two children. The large master bedroom has a queen size bed and a futon that easily folds out to a comfortable bed that will sleep one adult or two children. The master bathroom has a double sink vanity, and a shower separate from the tub. The guest bedroom has two twin beds and a full bath. Downstairs in the large living/dinning area is the couch that converts into a comfortable queen size bed. There is also a half bath on this floor. The floor plan is open and bright with a large bay window seat with comfortable pillows for reading or just daydreaming. The large wood dining table will seat 6, and there is a kitchen bar and stools for extra seating. The open floor plan allows you to cook while keeping an eye on the activities going on in the main living area. You will just love the large screened in back porch off the living area with the western Gulf horizon exposure overlooking the lake's fountain. The sound of the cascading water from the fountain is very soothing. As the sun peeks out after a shower on a hot summer day, you may capture the rainbow arching over the sparkling water of the fountain.
