Safe, quiet, cul de sacs. Limited traffic and noise. The majestic Mount Sopris in view. Golf course, hiking, biking trails, Crystal River running through. Getting AroundRFTA (Roaring Fork Transit Authority) less than a mile away. The busses transport from Aspen to Glenwood Springs. Very user friendly. Other Things to NoteExcellent restaurants and shops in town of Carbondale. Crystal Theater shows only the BEST.

The SpaceOur house is warm and cozy with plenty of character, including a spiral staircase and loft. It is a short walk to downtown Carbondale and a great home base for outdoor adventures. Guest Access1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room space, patio with grill, parking space, and washer/dryer. Covered parking provided if your car is not too tall. If you have a tall vehicle we still have parking, it's just not covered. Interaction with GuestsInteraction depends on the request of our guests. The NeighborhoodGreat neighbors tucked into a private, quiet space at the end of the road. Near the heart of town so it is easy to experience downtown Carbondale by foot. Carbondale is a bike friendly community, and also has great mountain biking trails not too far from town. Other Things to NoteThe listing is for 2 people but if you wish to have additional people we will consider it. However we are only equipped with a single queen bed.

The SpaceThe apartment is semi-attached to the back of the owner's house (also a rental) and is completely separate. It is nicely appointed with all the amenities you might need to make your stay enjoyable as well as relaxing. It has a gas fireplace to warm you in the winter and has vaulted ceilings and lots of windows which makes it bright and airy. In the summer time, the patio is the perfect place to have a BBQ and enjoy a glass of wine. Because the apartment is small we have provided a shed for extra storage - Ski equipment, bicycles, luggage, golf clubs, etc. Across the street is access to the Crystal River. The SpaceVery cozy space with everything you need while on vacation, Kitchen is fully equipped , the rooms are quiet and comfortable. It sleeps 6 comfortably. We do want to note that the kitchen is small and the dining area will fit 4 more comfortably than 6. We do provide an extra table that you can add to the small one or even set both up in the living room! Guests have done this for larger parties! Guest AccessOur great little house is conveniently located between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. There are Fantastic local restaurants, shopping, art galleries, a wonderful local movie theater, a performing arts theater, The Thompson house museum and much more... Excellent hiking and biking trails are all minutes away. Do you like to Mountain Bike? Carbondale is considered a bikers paradise... If you are just up for a cruise along the river, there is a bike path steps away from our house and we have some bikes you can use! You can easily enjoy the high life in Aspen complete with skiing, snowboarding, x-country skiing, art galleries, dining, music, hiking, golfing and shopping. Aspen and Snowmass offer an overabundance of ski and snowboard terrain across four mountains, including something for everyone. The Aspen Music Festival, Jazz Aspen and concerts are available throughout the valley all summer long, as well as the Saturday Farmer’s Market. The Snowmass Balloon Festival is always fun for the family. Participate with all Aspen has to offer without the high price of staying in Aspen. Do you want to have dinner in Aspen or ski there in the winter? Our local bus will get you there hassle free...       The SpaceOur spacious 525 sq. ft. non-smoking, pet-free apartment accommodates a maximum of 3 adults and has a private entrance and is well lit from windows on three sides. A custom room divider, permanently suspended, separates the bedroom from the other spaces. The living room futon converts to a Full size bed to accommodate up to 1 extra adult or child (please note our modest fee for your third guest). The apartment has spacious new bathroom including a large walk-in tiled shower with a glass door. There is a full kitchen, including a 2-burner cooktop, sink, spacious refrigerator, & microwave, toaster, blender, countertop oven and all the necessary kitchen utensils for a longer stay (check out all the photos). In April 2015 a new and larger private deck was finished to complement the interior remodel. We are centrally located for easy access to Carbondale's festivals, events, outdoor activities, and award-winning RFTA public bus transportation to Aspen or Glenwood Springs. There will be no more than 10 persons in the home at any given time unless previously arrange with the homeowner. MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a 3 night minimum stay, 5 day minimum during summer months & 7 day minimum required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than required period, the guest will be charged the minimum night rate. HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. However, it is available at an additional rate. We suggest you bring pool towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. DISTURBANCES – Due to the unit being located in a neighborhood, tenants shall maintain peaceful atmosphere at all times. Then head upstairs to the sleeping loft with 2 large skylights and another private balcony. Guest AccessYou will have the whole Treehouse to yourself. You will park your car about 200 yards away and cross 2 foot bridges going over Cattle Creek. Then you will enter your own private mountain garden below the Treehouse with picnic table and campfire area.           We welcome you to our quiet neighborhood and Tiny House living. The very comfortable 330 sq. ft. apartment is semi-attached to the owner's house and is completely separate. It is nicely appointed with all the amenities you might need to make your stay enjoyable as well as relaxing. In the summer time the patio is a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and have a BBQ. Because the apartment is small, we have provided a shed for extra storage – ski equipment, bicycles, luggage, golf clubs, etc. Across the street is access to the Crystal River. It features gold medal waters where many fishing guides depart. If you wish to hike, Mushroom Rock is minutes away. If golf is your game, in 3 minutes you're at River Valley Ranch golf course. Our apartment is also situated within walking distance to downtown Carbondale where there are many restaurants, shops, and the Crystal Movie Theater.

If they would like to have more privacy, I can provide that within reason. However, I'm happy to offer advice on things to do and restaurants. I will be present during the guests stay. The NeighborhoodMy house is in a subdivision called Crystal Village, and is adjacent to Miners Park. There is convenient access, via sidewalks, to the Rio Grande Trail and the Crystal River trail. Getting AroundThe Roaring Fork Transit agency provides 30 minute service in the Roaring Fork Valley from Glenwood Springs to Aspen/ Snowmass. There is a park and ride close by or a circulator bus two blocks away. Parking is included in my driveway. The Aspen Airport is 35 minutes away and is served by the RFTA bus system. Other Things to NoteThe private guest bedroom is big enough to share with a young child. I have a blow up mattress available for them to use.
