I live in a popular suburb close to Brisbane CBD with my husband Colin and teenage son. The house has 3 levels with a pool, barbecue area large deck overlooking pool. Public transport on door step. Five minute walk to largest shopping complex in Brisbane which has several restaurants, movies and hotel. 20 minutes from airport and beaches.

The SpaceThe location is so great. 10-15 min to city centre. Drive or catch the bus from the bus stop 50m down the road. Great hills for walking and very close to a large shopping centre with cinemas. Bus and train facilities are close by and available daily. My home is situated very close to Belmont Private Hospital for those attending seminars etc. The pool and back yard is very relaxing. Guest AccessI have two bedrooms available, both featuring queen size beds. These are available to friends/family or colleagues (adults only) traveling together. Each room is $70.00 per night and both bedrooms have queen beds. Feel free to use the pool and/or backyard and the library alcove, kitchen and family areas. You will have your own private bathroom. Interaction with GuestsI live at the residence and will be more than happy to interact with my guests but am aware they may also need some down time. The NeighborhoodThis airbnb is near the heart of the city but you can look out to hills and trees without feeling crowded in. Close to everything but far enough away to relax. Getting AroundThere is a bus in the next street and the bus terminal is located at the Carindale Shopping Centre. To catch the train, it is a bus ride to the train and then you are on your way.

Well-kept house awaiting friendly guests. The neighbourhood is only 12 kms to the CBD in the dress circle Eastern Suburb. Conveniently close to appealing restaurants and access to public transport. Brisbane airport is no more than 20 minutes away from this great location! Some great features in the suburb of Carindale include: -Large shopping complex (Westfield Carindale- stores such as Myer, David Jones etc.) -Belmont State School -Belmont Bushland Reserve -Belmont Private Hospital -Bulimba Creek - 5 minutes away is the renowned Pacific Golf Club, one of Brisbane's premier Golf Clubs having hosted numerous State and National events over the past 60 years. A popular attraction in the Carindale neighbourhood. So if you're fond of golf... this is the perfect place for you to stay! Please contact with further inquiries. My wife Alison and I are semi retired. We both enjoy playing golf and have lots of space available in our large house now that our children have all left home. We are able to provide transport to and from airport etc as we have plenty of time on our hands. We also have accommodation at Rainbow Bay on the Gold Coast.

The SpaceYou will have a private room with a good double bed. There is a desk in the room with a lamp for reading, and a mirror. The room is fitted with a ceiling fan and overviews the bushland. We also have a little collection of visitor guides and maps that you are welcome to consult and borrow during your stay. Guest AccessGuests have access to all rooms apart from our bedroom and office. All amenities (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) are shared with us and therefore have to be kept clean. You can use the kitchen or the outside bbq to cook. You also have access to a washing machine downstairs. We have a nice garden where you can relax and you can also use the living room. Interaction with GuestsWe will be present during your stay. If you are busy doing your own things that is fine, but we are also happy to share some time with you. We do expect you to talk to us a minimum though as we like to know who is staying under our roof ;) The NeighborhoodWe live in a quiet neighborhood. The bushland next door is a nice area to go walking or running: 5km of safe hiking trails right on our doorstep! We are not in the city center but in a suburb with limited facilities. If you don't have a car, bus stop is 10min walk from the house, small grocery store 10-15min walk, train station 30min walk. If you have a car you can reach big shopping centres in less than 10min, the CBD or South Bank in 15min and the airport in 17min. Azure Blue Carina is 3min drive from us or 15min walk. Getting AroundYou can park for free at the front of the house. There is no time limit. The closest bus stop to go to the city is 10min walk from our house. The bus takes 30min to go to South Bank (cultural area with an artificial beach, lots of restaurants and pubs, gardens, museums, etc.). Please be aware of that if you come here without a car. The easiest way to come here from the airport is by taxi. It costs about $40 for the 20min trip, which is the same price as the special airport bus for 2 people. Public transport from the airport costs around $20 per person and takes about an hour. Sometimes if it's convenient I might be able to pick you up/drop you off for an additional fee. Other Things to NoteWe don't have a dog but we are sometimes dogsitting so be aware that dogs visit our house. I will always let you know if we plan to have a dog at the time you want to come and then you can make the decision whether you are happy about that or not. Your pets might be allowed, this is something we can discuss.

My wife and i live in a large 4 bedrooms in total and 3 bathrooms in carindale, a nice suburb 20 minutes away from the city of Brisbane. our home is 5 minutes by car to the biggest shopping centre in Brisbane. We have a lovely veranda with a nice view and an outdoor area and a nice park very close by,2 minutes walk. There is no children and pets in our place,but plenty of hospitality and fun to share with you.

You can relax and chill or stroll around the corner and fill your day with everything a city has to offer. The house is very homely so you can enjoy your stay without having to worry too much about being too casual. It is a discounted rate as the house is an older style character home and some updates are required. Pembroke on the Park is fully furnished, self contained, clean, familiar and comfortable. It has 3 bedrooms with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, spacious lounge, bathroom with shower and a European laundry with a front loader washing machine and dryer and ironing facilities all for your convenience. The lounge and 1 bedroom have reverse cycle air-conditioners and fans in all rooms. It has a full kitchen with everything you will need for your stay. It has two queen beds and two singles. We think 5 people could stay comfortably. Pembroke On The Park is well located, central to everything, in the popular inner city suburb of Carina. It has a lovely large private back yard with a great outlook. It has a kids timber cubby house (The Mulberry Club) with a few fruit trees growing nearby. Enjoy the bird life. There is easy access through the back yard gate to the park that contains, free tennis courts, kids playground and bike track, basket ball and netball court and cricket nets and a huge (website hidden) lined open field and a City Council library, all within a short walking distance from the back yard. The local pool just around the corner. It is within 10 km drive to the Brisbane CBD, the world famous Wolloongabba Stadium and beautiful Southbank with it's parkland's and museums. Also one of Brisbane's largest shopping centres, poplar Westfield Carindale is walking distance away (1km). It has the Glass House with great restaurants open every night. The shopping centre is 5mins, buses at the door to anywhere in Brisbane also to the airport. The NeighborhoodThe room is located within a 10 minutes walk from Whites Hill shopping complex (Camp Hill) which consists of some boutique shops as well as the essentials, such as; Woolworths, chemist, 24/7 gym, a deli, hairdressers, beautician, Baskin & Robins (in case you have a sweet tooth), butcher, newsagent and a few restaurants to choose from such as Thai, Pizza Capers, Grill'd & Vietnamese as well as a few Cafes for your morning caffeine fix. It is also a few minutes drive to a large Westfield shopping centre and only a 15 minute bus ride to the city. Getting AroundThere are direct buses into the city which run approx every 5 minutes during peak (10 minutes outside of peak) traveling into the city & Valley with a travel time of approx 15 minutes. Getting to and from the airport is a train into the city and a bus to Carina Heights.

The NeighborhoodWhile our home is very centrally located to many things, being on acreage, we feel like we are far from the rush of life. Situated within walking distance to the Sleeman's Centre and the shooting ranges, makes our home ideal for those involved in any events at these places. Getting AroundThe bus stop is a short walk across or down the road. There is no train nearby. As we are on acreage, parking is no problem at all. Getting AroundBus 212 comes down our Street which you can catch to the City very frequently. The closest stop is located at Tristan Street, stop 68/52.
