Very close to public transport, walking distance to the Cappuccino Strip with a large variety of good restaurants and shops. Minimum stay - 4 nights Victoria Park is the first suburb south of the Swan River from the City of Perth. we have excellent access to public transport with the local train station a short walk from our holiday home. you can be in the heart of Perth in just less than 10 minutes! We have parks in our area, some with play equipment as well as bbq facilities. Tomato Lake is situated just a couple of kilometers away and has excellent play facilities for children and a cycle path around a large lake. Our property is owned and maintained by Mick and June and we encourage visitors to ask any questions they wish about the City of Perth or our holiday home.. Very suitable for business people, as the commute to the heart of the city is less than 10 minutes. We have a one-off cleaning fee of $100.00 at the end of all bookings (whether 4 nights or 4 weeks or more)

              This beautifully maintained cottage is ideal for families (as well as those coming to Perth for business) who wish to have a quiet relaxing home to return to after a busy day of either work or pleasure. There is a large outdoor area with bbq, surrounded by secure fencing covered in climbing roses and native wisteria - perfect for children to play, or adults to relax. Our house is open plan with floorboards throughout and is also double-glazed to help maintain the temperature inside and also to reduce any outside noises. We are situated less than 10kms from Perth City, it takes approximately 10 minutes by train! The beautiful Swan River and Curtin University are approx 5kms away. We are within easy walking distance to local shops, restaurants, hotel, postoffice etc. and public transport (either bus or train) is very conveniently located. Major shopping complexes are a short drive away. CURTIN UNIVERSITY is situated close to Collier Park Golf Course and there is a bus at the Oats Street Train Station which goes directly there. (Oats Street station is approximately a 5 minute walk from our house.) The VICTORIA PARK CAPPUCINO STRIP has many fine restaurants and is approximately a 10 minute walk from home. Closer to home there is the Carlisle Hotel, which also does excellent meals, the local stops - including a fresh bread bakery, hairdresser, Newsagency and Chemist - are all within a 5 minute walk away. We have the one rate for the whole year, and the one cleaning fee (or $100.00) at the end of your stay. We do have a minimum stay period of 4 nights for $800.00; $1,000 for 5 to 7 nights stay. There is a 5% discount for stays in excess of 4 weeks. Victoria Park is the first suburb south of Perth over the Causeway (south of the Swan River) our holiday home is situated within 10kms from the Perth CBD and is very close to public transport and local shops, A ten minute ride on the train brings you into the heart of the City of Perth - State Art Gallery, Museum etc. We are also a short walk from several local parks and the local Swimming Pool/Gym complex. We are within walking distance to the "Victoria Park Cappucinno Strip" where there is a wide range of excellent restaurants to cater to all tastes. The Burswood Casino Complex is situated on the banks of the Swan River and is just a five minute drive from our holiday home - it can also be reached in just two train stops, less than 5 minutes! Curtin University is also within a 5 minute drive. The beautiful beaches of the Indian Ocean are only a 20 minute drive away - Cottesloe, City Beach and Scarborough probably being the best known, however there are many others. We have secure off road parking for up to three vehicles.

The train stop is a 5 minute walk away. The train will take you directly to Perth City, the trip will take around 10 minutes. Various Bus Routes which will take you into the Perth City Bus / Train Depot. The train line can take you to some of Perths beautiful beaches or historic Fremantle. If you are relying on public transport I would highly recommend you look at the Transperth website. This is a very helpful website with a journey planner. The closest train station is called Oats Street on the Armadale line.

The bedroom is situated at the back of the house to offer room for privacy and will fit 2 adults or an adult and child. There is a small library filled with a selection of books and magazines. There are empty drawers, cupboards and a small bar fridge should you need to use them to keep your belongings in. Guest AccessOur guests are free to share the space with us and join us for family meals and movie nights. So feel free to sit on the couch, dining room table or interact with us in the kitchen or garden. They can help themselves to the use of the kitchen, fridge and freezer to keep their groceries and food as well as the use of the washing machine and dryer; we ask that you please clean up after yourselves once using the facilities. Their is a small bar fridge provided in your room for you to use. Should you need to have some fresh air, we have a spacious backyard with seating and a friendly lovable dog. His name is Gunner and he's a border collie who loves to play. Smoking is prohibited in the house however should the need arise please do so outside and all litter must be thrown away in the bin. Interaction with GuestsAs we will also be living in the house, we are more than happy to answer any questions you might have about Perth or where the nearest facilities are. We are a friendly active lively family of 4 with a very playful dog. Our house is always full of laughter, fun and games which means the house can be very exciting and buzzing with activities. Being only 5 minutes away from Perth City there is plenty of things to do and we are more than happy to suggest places to go visit and activities to do. The NeighborhoodEast Victoria Park is literally 15 min walk, 3 min drive, 10 min run, 15 min skip to Victoria Park the bustling, new hipster place to hang out! With an abundance of cuisine to choose from, it's a lovely place to be for a coffee, tea, brunch, romantic dinner or a nice night out at the bar. Filled with restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, a modest shopping centre, doctors, pharmacies and a 24/7 kebab shop with convenience store - it's the most awesome place to be. We are South of the River and within 20mins of both the international and domestic terminals and so close to the Perth's entertainment hubs Crown Casino and Northbridge. With so much lively entertainment, food and things to do - Perth will be full of surprises!! Getting AroundYou will have within 100 meters the Carlise Train Station and around the corner a bus stop with many buses including the circle route 99 which takes you to all the major Universities in Perth and even all the way to Fremantle. Other Things to NoteOur listing is only for two people but additional guests are at $20AUD per night per person. We welcome all children, babies and toddlers and should you need a crib or cot - this can be requested. We also have Wi-Fi and your password will be provided to you on your arrival. We are less than 100 meters away from Carlise Train Station which is 5 stops away from Perth City and 2 Stops away from a fantastic night out at Crown Casino. Public transport is in abundance and there are so many ways to get around. We are also a 15 min walk to the bustling gourmet strip of Victoria Park and only a 5 min drive to one of Perth's largest shopping centre; Carousel. We try our very best to keep the noise level down but having a large family means our house can be very active. We however ensure that we will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible so please do approach us should you have any issues or concerns.

It is a 10 minutes drive to/from the city and local park/rec centre makes this inner city suburb the ideal place to live like a local! Also have a newsagent, deli and post office very close. Lovely, friendly, family vibe! We're about 10 minutes walk to Vic Park for a more lively night out and know some great spots for dinner and drink. The best restaurants in Perth are here!!! We absolutely love dining out and feel very safe in this family oriented neighbourhood. Getting AroundEasy access to park at the train station, bus stop on adjacent street. 10 mins to the city! We walk and cycle to the river (10 minutes cycle ride!) and love that the trains are very frequent and run till late. Other Things to NoteWe do have cats - they are friendly but are not allowed in the room (unless you would like them). We will allow dogs in the big, secure yard and they can sleep in room, we can shut off the whole side of the house with your room from the cats.
