The SpaceThis house is on the outskirts of Bonaventure, 5 kilometres from the village, with a view of the mountains in the back and the Baie-des-Chaleurs out front.
Thivierge is known as one of the loveliest spots of the back country in the Baie-des-Chaleurs. Closeby: a salmon filled river (the Bonaventure), canoeing, kayaking (Cime Aventure), horseback riding, the Bioparc of Gaspésie, the caves at Saint-Elzéar, the Fauvel Golf course, hiking trails, the green route and mountain biking paths and still more. The house has a large equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. Washer & dryer in a small enclosed room next to the kitchen, a spacious living room with an acoustic piano, a small salon with satellite tv and internet access. Patios on 3 sides of the house, one of them is quite large and has propane BBQ. Weekly and monthly rentals available from June 1st to September 30th 2012. Only minutes from VIA Rail train station and Bonaventure airport. There's parking space for 3 cars on the property. In the village of Bonaventure you'll find a giant super market with fresh produce, fresh meats and fish. There are 3 fish markets nearby. This house is on a large property which has many mature fruit trees and raspberry bushes on it and all kinds of birds come to the bird feeder just outside the kitchen. Guest AccessThe full house and surrounding, no one else on the peremises. Big patio on 2 sides, BBQ, all linen included, all dished and necessary to cook, etc Interaction with GuestsI come to welcome my guests at their arrival. I usually then ask them their preferences but I am always available. I can also come back anytime for special request or anything else, I live 10 minutes away... The NeighborhoodIt's a quiet street, a little outside the village (about 5 min by car) perfect for families and couples. They are close to many shops and all, but have the quietness of the surrounding. Also, the house is some distance from the street, therefore safe for children. Getting AroundDriving is the easiest option. You could also fly in since we have an airport. However, it would be adviced to rent a car to get around. Other Things to NoteIf it's your first visit in the area, I will be more than happy to answer your questions, and let you know the must-visit in the area.
