The SpaceYou feel as though you are in your own home with your own private bedroom, living room, and bathroom on your own floor in the basement. When you want privacy, you may go to your room and since I rarely go to the basement, you won't hear or see me. When you want company, simply join me and my dog on the main floor where you can enjoy a big screen TV with premium channels, dining in the eat-in kitchen, or relaxing on the porch with great views of the Castle Rock. My dog is an older Australian Shepherd and is extremely friendly and never barks or bites. The house is located only 5 minutes from I-25, close hiking and biking trails, a national park, and easy driving to the Rocky Mountains for skiing or camping. Parking is outside on my driveway but off the street. For those that enjoy shopping, the Park Meadows Mall is only 15 minutes away, and Castle Rock is home to a huge outlet mall. Downtown Denver is about 30 minutes by car, or 45 minutes by car/light rail. Guest AccessGuests will have full access to the basement (there is no private entrance, confirmed guests will be given detailed instructions on how to enter and exit the home), which includes an en suite bedroom and large living room complete with couches. You will also have access to the main floor where there is a TV and a kitchen. You may cook for yourself and use all the amenities in the kitchen such as microwave, stove, oven, and refrigerator. If you wish, I can set aside a small part of the fridge and pantry for your groceries. I will be happy to provide breakfast (ONLY upon request and at an additional charge of $5). You will have access to the WiFi throughout the home. I only ask that guests do not come to the upper floor as that is my private space. Interaction with GuestsI am a world traveler and have stayed in hostels, homestays, and private hotels. I'm happy to give you as much space or as little space and interaction as you want. I have had trips where I want to meet people and others where I prefer to be a lone wolf. So I understand that different guests have different needs. I will be present during your stay as I work from home but if you need privacy you can simply go to your own floor in the basement. I'm a Colorado native so I'm happy to share my expertise and recommendations for activities in the area. I'm also happy to share my world travel stories with other travelers. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is very safe and family friendly. There are a lot of pets and children in the neighborhood, and small walking trails throughout, and most houses back up to a golf course (not this one, however). My house backs up to a small walking trail. It is a fairly typical upper middle class American suburban neighborhood. It is a five minute drive to a grocery store, Starbucks, and downtown which is filled with bars, restaurants and shopping. It is a 10 minute drive to the outlet mall. Getting AroundUnfortunately, the area is not convenient for public transport. It is highly recommended that you have a car to explore Castle Rock and the surrounding areas. You can take Denver light rail as far south as Lincoln Avenue, but you will then need a car to make the 15 minute journey from Lincoln Avenue to Castle Rock. You are free to park in the driveway off the street, but I may ask you to move your vehicle if I need access to the drive. Driving from the airport is about 45 minutes. Other Things to NotePlease note I do have a dog. She is very old and very mellow, but if you let her she will ask you to pet her. She loves people and has never been aggressive in her life. However, if you simply ignore her she will leave you alone. She doesn't go to the basement often and won't invade your space if you keep the door closed, but if you leave the door open, you may find her. I will do my best to keep her away from your room, but she has never caused any damage to shoes or clothing, so you shouldn't have any problems with her.

The SpaceWelcome to 4000 sq feet on 8 acres, in picturesque Bell Mountain Ranch; Castle Rock, CO. There are bike paths, walking trails and horse trails GALORE! There is always someone staying at the house, even if minimally there. This is a VEGETARIAN kitchen. The guest bedroom(s) is downstairs and includes a large empty walkout basement with fire pit; a downstairs refrigerator/freezer and full bath that you will have to yourself. There is an additional unfinished bedroom for the rustic "add-ons" that you may be traveling with. It has a king bed and full dresser space however! There is also a pull-out sofa bed on the lower level. The upstairs kitchen and living space, Jenn-Air grill is all open for shared enjoyment. Vegetarian food only please. No smoking inside. Pets are allowed on a limited basis with an additional fee of $300. (not just a deposit) Enjoy quiet reading/writing time or host an event for your friends & family. The space is DIVINE! There is a sound system upstairs and out on the deck, you can plug your iPod/iPhone into, or play CD's. During the summer time, enjoy the hummingbirds whizzing around and the quaint flower garden out front. Mondays there is an "open guided meditation" that takes place from 6-7pm in the lower level. This is the only time/day the space is entered. You are welcome to join, be vacant or be quiet. It's a peaceFULL time! Interaction with GuestsMyself and my 8 year old son are in and out when guests are around, as we can be available in case needed. The NeighborhoodIt is very quiet and remote in this area.

ROOMS AVAILABLE 8/22 CHECKOUT 8/27 OR EARLY ON THE 28TH 2 bedrooms with their own private baths available for the DNC with full access to the kitchen. Located in a beautiful golf course community with beautiful Rocky Mountain views. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and bedroom 2 has a full size bed. Castle Rock is 1 mile from I25 and 30 miles to downtown Denver. There is a lightrail station 10 miles up I25 and it will take you right to the Pepsi Center in Downtown Denver so you don't have to mess with all the downtown parking issues. It has relaxing living room with a new sofa bed & a DirectTV (Pay Per View not available), a clean bathroom with hot/cold shower, a kitchenette (no stove) with a mini fridge, all new 4-seat dining set, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker & tableware set. Free WIFI. There is a private entrance going to the basement (the suite). Guest AccessAside from the basement (the suite), the guests can use the washer and dryer in the laundry area once a day without additional charge. They can access the backyard and make barbeque, sit and relax. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is quiet and safe. It has multiple parks and playground for kids. Getting AroundColorado Vacation Suite is located in the town of Castle Rock which is midway between Denver and Colorado Springs ( 35 mins and 40 mins drive respectively). The Castle Rock Outlet store and shopping center are 10 mins drive away. Denver International Airport is 45 mins drive away (going north). Elitch Gardens Park Six Flags is 35 mins drive away (going north). Garden of the Gods is 45 mins drive away (going south). Pikes Peak is 56 mins to the base and another hour to go to the top. Air Force Academy north gate (visitor entrance) is 25 mins drive away. SKI RESORTS are 1 to 3 hours drive away depending what resort you want to go. Black Hawk Casino / Resort is 1 hour and 15 mins drive. If you love adventures, challenges and wants to have fun, Philip S Miller Park is one of the best places to go to while in Castle Rock, Colorado. It is a new fun park in Castle Rock and is only 5 MINUTES DRIVE. Enjoy the Zip Line Tours and 200-step Hill Challenge where you get to see the best view of Castle Rock. The rental is for the upper two levels of the home, which includes all the amenities.       Our custom 8000 sq ft home is located in tall pines between Denver and Colorado Springs (about 30 miles from each) in the upscale gated community of Castle Pines Village. The home has a retreat-like atmosphere with spectacular views. Special features include: 4 bedrooms each with it's own bathroom and walk in closet. There are 7 fireplaces, multiple decks and a Koi pond. The main floor includes atrium, main kitchen, breakfast room, and studio. The master bedroom is up a spiral stairway. Down stairs are three bedrooms. Off the atrium is a large dinning/entertainment room and a second full kitchen. Castle Pines Village is a unique gated community with tall Ponderosa pine and two Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses (Pvt). Numerous public golf courses are nearby. In the village are 3 community swimming pools, tennis courts, and miles of walking paths. Wild life is abundant. We have a small resident heard of mule deer, humming birds, wild turkeys, And rabbits galore.

      The SpaceOur cozy cabin is secluded, surrounded by trees with an open view to the mountains. To get to the cabin, you follow a path away from the main house. The 800 sq feet plus gets you a living room with queen sleeper sofa, a kitchen with dining table, 1 bedroom with queen bed and dressers, 1 bath, and a kids loft that is accessed by ladder and has 1 double and 1 twin bed for those willing to climb up. Caution: there is no rail so beware for your sleep walkers. You will be taken in by the views from the deck of our rustic hide-away. Guest AccessEnd of the Road Ranch is just that. We are located at the end of a half-mile long private drive. Parking is provided at the main house's driveway and guests must carry their luggage on a stone path to the cabin. Guests have access to the fire pit below the cabin and are free to hike around the rest of the 8 acre property. Interaction with GuestsOur home is in the main Ranch house located 100 yards and out of sight of the cabin. We are available if any issues arise during your stay. The NeighborhoodOur ranch is surrounded by other ranches just outside the city limit. We are close to Downtown Castle Rock, the outlet malls, the Incline and Ziplines at MAC rec center, mountain bike trails, great restaurants and dining. We are 1 mile to picturesque Hwy 105, and 5 miles to 1-25. Getting AroundPublic transportation is not available at the ranch, but services like Uber, Lyft and traditional taxi service will make the trek. Other Things to NoteThere are no tvs, cable or internet service, or a land line phone in the cabin. Cell coverage works depending on provider. We have a few games, puzzles and cards along with interesting books for your entertainment. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking essentials; refrigerator, stove, oven, coffee pot and toaster, dishes, but no microwave or dishwasher.

Getting AroundI-25 is about a mile away (the exit is Founders Parkway for reference). 15 minutes north on the freeway is the RTD light rail park and ride that goes to downtown Denver and all major sports venues.

      My place is close to I-25, Highway 85 (Sante Fe), is about 20 minutes from the Denver Tech Center, and about 30 minutes from Denver, also the Outlet Mall, Castle Rock Adventist Hospital, Ridgeline Open Space, plenty of restaurants, Rockyard Brewery and Grill, AMC movie theater, and trails to walk, run, or ride a bike. You’ll love my place because of the comfortable queen size bed with a down comforter and five pillows. I do have roommates, but they are friendly and helpful; including a dog.

      This home is made for families! 3 bedroom (1 king, 1 twin, 1 toddler bed, with 1-Queen Bed in Basement, 1-Queen Air Mattress available as well.) Great gas stove with amazing cookware. Great shopping within minutes, amazing hiking and biking 10 mins away!

      The SpaceNewly renovated! Comfortable bedding. Black out curtains to keep the light from coming in or open them up to let the sun shine through. Guest AccessThe room and 1/2 bath is our guest's private space during their stay. Common areas are shared with the hosts but minimally used. Space is set aside in the refrigerator and pantry so you can grab groceries and cook at home. Interaction with GuestsWe are available to help you navigate your visit or a transition if you are in between housing or just getting settled into the Denver area. We are not typically at home during the day M-F but our schedules are flexible enough to be around if needed. The NeighborhoodThis is a quiet, serene neighborhood with a great backyard to enjoy some downtime after a long day "at the office." We also have a barbecue if you would like to throw something on the grill (weather permitting of course). Getting AroundThis is one of the more convenient locations in the Denver Metro Area. The on-ramps to two of Denver's major freeways are less than a mile away. If you would like to use public transit, the bus stop is on the corner and the light rail is within walking distance. The location is right next to the Denver Tech Center, 15-25 minutes to downtown, Castle Pines and the foothills (all depending on traffic). DIA is a 25 minute drive. Other Things to NoteWe are pet friendly. If you have a four legged companion traveling with you, they are welcome (a dog or a cat only). The house has a cat and a small dog. Both of our four-legged friends are used to a variety of dogs, especially, staying with us. No more than one dog per visit.
