The SpaceOur home is not grand or fancy, there are no dolls or doilies, just modern amenities in a historic setting. Enjoy our tri-level farm house built in the 1890's. It has the original spiral staircase, stained glass windows, mostly original doors and woodwork, but has been updated for modern convenience. Your room has wood floors, a firm full sized bed, new bedding, a dresser, closet, stress less chair, desk, cable tv, and small table. Full private bath with soaker tub and shower. Free Wifi, games, books, and puzzles. Have a glass of wine or coffee by the fire and pet our cat, Bella. Cat will not have access to your bedroom space. Guest AccessPorch, foyer, bedroom, closet, bath; shared dining, living room, and parking space included. Join us in the living room to watch tv by the fire if you like. Ask about using our second bedroom with queen sized bed, and large kitchen. Breakfast in kitchen provided. Laundry service upon request. Interaction with GuestsIt will depend on the preference of the guest. Your privacy will be respected, but if we have time we can have a chat and maybe even a cribbage game or meal together. The NeighborhoodSafe, peaceful and historic neighborhood. Close to trails for walking, snow shoeing, and skiing, 4 wheeler and snowmobile trail access. Close to Cary Medical Center, Library, restaurants, and second hand stores. Rec Center with indoor walking track. Main St is always well maintained in winter. In Summer you can take a walk in the evening and stop at the park to watch a ball game. Huge trees, flower gardens, parks, pond, tennis courts, enjoy the music from Thursday's on Sweden St., shop at the Farmers Market and fruit stands. Getting AroundParking is provided. Everything is within walking distance. Taxis are available. Snowmobile and 4 wheeler trail access is about 2 blocks away; You can park right in our yard. Access to Restaurants and stores via trails too. Other Things to NoteYou can open the windows, or turn up the heat, but please wipe your feet or leave shoes in foyer.
