The SpaceSunrise Creek is a 1000 sq. ft. apartment that is completely private from our home. It includes private entrance, full kitchen, spacious living and dining area, large bathroom, bedroom with queen size bed and closet, second bed/sitting room with a brand new queen size futon. . The SpaceRestored guest house on owner's property. Double bed upstairs, sofa bed downstairs. Screened in porch. Kitchen with gas stove, microwave, frig. Small Weber grill available. Gas stove for heat if needed. Small bathroom with shower. Quiet country setting with pond and creek. Guest AccessFull use of private guest house and grounds. Linens, towels, and beach towels are provided as well as organic coffee and tea, creamers, and some spices and basic condiments. Guests can access the small fire pit by the pond if desired. There is a small Weber grill available for use. Interaction with GuestsI greet guests upon arrival, give them a tour, go over the house rules, and am available for any questions or issues that may arise. The NeighborhoodQuiet and natural.     Located on the gorgeous Leelanau Peninsula, The Hideaway is a lovely air conditioned home, on 100 feet of prime, private lakefront property, providing magnificent views of scenic South Lake Leelanau from inside or out. The gently sloping lakeshore and sandy bottom provide excellent swimming. A private swim raft is provided for your enjoyment. Lake Leelanau has some of the best fishing in Michigan, and a dock and rowboat are provided. The Solon Twp. public access is conveniently located, ¼ mile away, and additional lake access points are available just minutes away if you bring your own boat. The Hideaway has a large deck with comfortable furniture and gas grill, directly overlooking the lake. Lawn furniture, a picnic table and a fire pit by the water (firewood provided) are all included so that you can enjoy the incredible views of the lake from every angle at any time of the day or night. With a beautiful sand bottom, this shallow cove is wonderfully protected. Lake Leelanau is a 23 mile long lake, with the south end in Traverse City and the north end is Leland. Of course, there is great boating on this all-sports lake that’s large enough that you won't ever feel crowded. Spend a leisurely day boating to the town of Lake Leelanau, or Leland and its famous Fishtown, for shopping, breakfast, lunch or dinner. Excellent golf courses, wineries and restaurants abound in the area, or a short drive takes you to the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan. The Hideaway is just minutes from Traverse City, Lake Michigan and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (named "The Most Beautiful Place in America" by Good Morning America), Sugar Loaf Resort and numerous other golf courses, Leland, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor and Northport and all that these wonderful destinations have to offer.     The SpaceI am 20 minutes from the boutiques, restaurants and music venues of Traverse City, or the tranquil and isolated beaches of the Leelanau coastline. Come home to grill, and relax on the sun porch looking out on my garden and little fishpond. Guest Access2 bedrooms with some closet space, and a bonus room if you don't mind a blow up mattress. private adjoining bath with shower. Full kitchen with cooking and grilling supplies. You can call me anytime. I may need to stop by to water flowers, but will not come into the house. The NeighborhoodThis is a quiet neighborhood, but when you are in the back yard, you feel like you are alone in the woods. Getting AroundNo public transportation. However you can drive 9 miles and catch shuttles every 15 minutes into Traverse City for the festivals. Other Things to NoteI have a cat that I will take with me, but want to make you are aware if you have severe allergies.

    The SpaceWe have a two story chalet with a deck in front and a yard in the back. It is nicely furnished and has a field stone fireplace, new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and an open floor plan. We have a fire pit in the backyard. There is a queen size bed in the master br, a full size upstairs with a twin size pull out couch, a queen size futon bed in the loft and a queen size couch bed in the living room. Guest AccessGuests will be able to reach any of the local sites easily - we are "Away from it all, but close to everything". We are new to Airbnb, but have rented our home for over twenty years with rave reviews. Interaction with GuestsWe are not present, we have local folks who help us manage our property and are here to help with any questions or problems. We are always available by phone, as well. The NeighborhoodOur neighborhood is tree lined, quiet but the roads are paved. We have two golf courses nearby, which include a driving range, sand trap and putting green which are fun to practice at. You can walk or ride a bike any time of day. Numerous lakes and beaches are nearby. There is so much to do, it is impossible to list it all. Getting AroundThere is an small airport, if you fly your own plane, that you can walk to from our house. The larger airport is in Traverse City, where you can rent a car. We can provide directions. There is limited public transportation. Parking is included. Other Things to NoteWe provide all towels, sheets, paper products, spices and usual condiments. We have beach chairs and items you can use if you want to take them to have a fire and cook out at the Good Harbor Beach. You just need to bring your toothbrush! This is a No Smoking house, but we do have a wood burning fireplace, so if your are extremely sensitive or allergic to smoke, this may not be the place for you. We have recently added a window air conditioner to cool down the space on hot summer afternoons.

          4 Kayaks and 2 Paddleboards Included!! Just added Central Air Conditioning in 2014!! Lake Leelanau lakefront 4 bedroom home. Spacious, four bedroom home with a view of the lake from every room. Just ten steps to the waters edge off the deck. Multiple decks all the way around the house. Sand bottom, shallow swimming at the end of the dock. Bring your own watercraft or rent our pontoon or jet-skis. This property is located at the southeast area of the lake in Bingham Township just 1/4 a mile from the public boat launch area which has a small sand beach area. Dock provided, prime swimming down the ladder at the end of the dock. Beautiful mostly sand bottom & shallow at this point. Buoy is provided for our guest that are bringing there own watersports. The main floor has a fully-equipped kitchen and bar that seats three. Dining room and family room with a twin futon both overlooking the lake have walk outs to the deck. Deck lined with BBQ grill (charcoal or gas), picnic table, lounge chairs, hammocks and sandbox. Full bath with stand up shower and living room with TV/VCR/CD player on this level too. One bedroom with a trundle bed. This home actually sleeps 11 + a toddler bed. Upstairs is three bedrooms and one full bath. Two of these bedrooms have walk-out balconies overlooking the lake, each with a queen bed. One bedroom has a toddler bed also. Breathtaking views, like your right on top of the water. Third bedroom also has a queen bed with a full size futon and view of the lake. Lake Leelanau is a sand bottom, 23 mile long lake, south end in Traverse City and the north end is Leland. Great boating and all-sports lake. Large enough that you won't ever feel crowded. Boat on up to the town of Lake Leelanau or Leland for shopping and dinner. Lots to do in Leland as far as sightseeing and shopping. Pet Friendly (fee applies) Rates vary from off season to summer to fall.           This tri-level home is situated in Leelanau County, Michigan on a well-traveled minor arterial county road. The house sits back about 130 feet from the road and access is provided with a paved circular driveway. There are over 24 acres of private countryside with some beautiful panoramic views of South Lake Leelanau. Enjoy your own space on the Leelanau Peninsula while being close to the water, paved trails, attractions, and Traverse City. Scenic M22 and Grand Traverse Bay are just 2 1/2 miles to the east. There is a public boat launch on South Lake Leelanau 1/8 mile away. Historic fish town and the National Park's Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes are just a short drive away. There is central air conditioning throughout the home and hot water baseboard heat for the cooler months. Plenty of windows provide cross ventilation, if desired. There are ceiling fans in all three bedrooms with cross ventilation casement windows in the two northern bedrooms. A single set of three casement windows provide light and ventilation in the third bedroom. All beds have high-end Tuft & Needle pressure relief mattresses and bedding is provided. There is one queen-size bed in each of the two north end bedrooms. The third bedroom has one double and one twin size bed. The home is furnished comfortably. There is high-speed internet, both a 42" and a 50" flat screen TV with cable, and a land-line phone. The kitchen appliances are as follows: a 30" electric range with oven, 1.1 cubic foot microwave, toaster oven, 36" side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, and a double bowl kitchen sink. Basic cooking and serving utensils are included with service for 12. There is a laundry near the kitchen with a full-size washer, dryer and utility sink. A 16.5 cubic foot refrigerator is in the attached 2-car garage for summertime use. A small bathroom with a shower is on the main floor. On the upper level there is a large bathroom with a double vanity and tub/shower combo. Bath, hand towels, and washcloths are provided. An original wood-burning fireplace offers a focal point while the larger living area surrounding it offers ample space for family gatherings. A 42" flat screen TV with cable is visible from the open living, kitchen, and dining areas. There is seating for six in the dining room and for four on the adjacent bar stools off the kitchen area. The newly remolded lower level entertainment room offers comfortable seating and a 50" flat screen TV with cable. There is a reading area on the east end where one can enjoy seeing the morning sun rise over the natural environment. A sliding door leads to a shaded outdoor sitting area. There is a 24' x 24' two-car attached garage that can be used for cars or, perhaps, small boats. The interior depth is about 23' and is accessed by two 9' x 7' overhead doors with openers. The storage barn on the property is not included. Outdoors, enjoy a private awning-covered dining area on the small deck, a picnic table, a grill, and even a fire pit with a grill and fireside chairs. There are two chaise lounges and chairs for relaxing. While there is no lush green lawn , the grass is kept mowed. There is plenty of open area with sunshine during the summer months. The private property can be hiked (or try snowshoes in season), views of South Lake Leelanau can be discovered, and wildlife can be observed along with undisturbed flora and fauna. This needs to be done with the help of GPS guidance and the recent property survey to respectfully avoid trespassing on the neighboring lands. A copy of the survey can be emailed to you at your request. Please leave the land as you found it. No littering. No fires are allowed other than in the designated fire pit near the house. Please avoid smoking while out on the property to avoid fires and litter. Please pick up after your pets. Boating activities, family outings, day trips, and fishing on Lake Leelanau is readily accommodated with the boat launch just 1/8 mile away. While not promoted, people do swim at the north end of the popular public boat launch site. Swimming is not allowed where the boats are actually launched. Ride bikes, walk the dog, jog, roller blade, or ski on the groomed snow (in season) on the paved TART trail just one mile away.

We have tried to provide all the regular amenities that you may need, including clean linens and towels, soap and shampoo, and a hair dryer. There are mugs for your morning coffee, and plates/utensils for a meal. Guest AccessThe area has a private entry. The door has a programmable lock. You will be provided with the code for the lock prior to your check-in date. There is a separate drive with lots of parking available. Feel free to bring a trailer with any 'toys' you have. We have a large yard that you are free to explore. There is a basketball hoop and a few other yard games available for your use. Interaction with GuestsIt's your vacation, so you can decide the level of interaction! We will always try to be available when you first arrive to welcome you and give you a brief tour. Feel free to call, email or text if you have any questions during your stay. Join us for a drink on the deck or a game of ladder ball if you want. The NeighborhoodLeelanau County has miles of beaches, over 20 wineries, trails to hike and bike, and many unique towns to explore along the way. We are just a short drive (or bike ride) from Traverse City, which is a foodie's paradise and home to a variety of festivals and events. Getting AroundThe house is about 7 miles north of Traverse City. We are less than a mile away from the bike trail that runs from Traverse City to Suttons Bay. Other Things to NoteThe rental area is in the walkout basement of our home. During your stay, the bedrooms and bathroom there are completely yours to use. There are a couple rooms we sometimes use and we do keep extra groceries and supplies on the lower level, so there may be occasions when we will be coming downstairs.                   Tranquility Cottage sleeps up to 15, 2 bedrooms downstairs, one with a king sized bed, the other has a queen. Upstairs are 2 bunk rooms. Each room has two bunks with a full size mattress and 3 twins. Upstairs hall has another twin bed. A/C in each bedroom, ceiling fan upstairs. 2 full baths, laundry room, ping pong table in garage for rainy days. Wood burning fireplace inside, large fire pit by lake. Shore Station boat hoist fits most boats but we do have a buoy for boats that don't fit the hoist. There are two charcoal grills, picnic table and a nice low deck for instant access to the lawn or water.                     This family owned vacation home has many premium features providing that luxurious vacation or get away on beautiful 20+ mile long Lake Leelanau. The home is available year-round and has air conditioning. The shoreline on this part of Lake Leelanau has a nice sandy bottom. The house is suited and equipped for all ages of the family - for the seniors that don't like a lot of steps; the get-away for couples that include some nice luxury features; and amenities for the kids such as the sand box, sand toys and shallow water with a nice firm sandy lake bottom. Lake Leelanau is an all sports lake for swimming, boating, water skiing, and great fishing for walleye and bass. The lake depth at shore is shallow about 15 inches deep with great swimming for kids - the lake depth gets about waist deep at the end of our 190 foot private dock. You can take your boat right across the lake or to the towns of Lake Leelanau, Leland, or Cedar for excellent dining, sight-seeing or shopping. Gas service for your boat is available at several locations on the lake. During the summer, a pontoon boat is available for rent and available at the dock. If you bring your own boat it can be tied to the dock. There is a public boat launch within a couple blocks from the cottage The cottage is perpendicular to the lake providing lake views from half of the home including the kitchen and island, family room area and master bedroom. There is a large glass slider off the kitchen that leads onto the large deck on the lake side. Patio furniture and table along with the gas grill are on the deck. The cottage is less than 100 feet from the water's edge. There is a fire pit just a few yards from the lake.
