(Breakfast is not served at this Inn, all rooms have kitchenettes) The NeighborhoodMy location is at the corner of Pine Street and 500 Shelbyville Street. When we wanted to name our Inn, we looked at the beautiful tall Pine Trees growing all around our building and thru out the neighborhood. So we name it, Pine Colony Inn. Pine Street is one of the oldest street in the town, and the homes are very nice, some of the best in our city. In the old days, it was nick named "Silk Stockin Ave" because all the rich ladies and families lived on that street. Today, there are many pretty old homes around our neighborhood and the tall pines are still here. Shelbyville Street is not only 3 blocks to the square, but is also state Hwy. 87 and is just 8 miles to the next small town of Shelbyville, TX. Getting AroundNo there is no public transpertation. The city is not large enought to need or afford such transpertation. We are 3 blocks from the square which has lotz of shops and sites to see. We are about 1 mile from the New Walmart shopping area Other Things to NoteAll guest rooms have kitchenette area, with coffee pot and fixings, microwave and small fridge. No breakfast is being served at this time.
