The SpaceThere is a room with a double bed and a river view, or a single room with a very comfy bed and a beautiful treed view. This second bed is on a landing with curtains, window, lamp and wifi, rather than a door. Each reservation is $89, which includes both beds and breakfast for one of porridge or eggs or cereal, fruit smoothie and tea or coffee. If traveling with a friend pleas add $7 for the second and each additional breakfast. So three people is $89 plus $14. You are welcome to stay as B&B guests or stay longer and share the kitchen with me. If you would like to explore life in the country for a while, float on a river, or sit by a fire, and would be happiest renting a room in a relaxed, country home atmosphere, then this may be just right for you. The old century farmhouse is on two acres along the stunning Bonnechere River within walking distance of the town of Eganville. Three different verandas are available in which to read, relax or meditate. There are places to be private as well as opportunities to be as involved with others as you wish.The house is Kim's home as well as an office for the tea company, and therefore separate from the busy farm in Golden Lake. Happy guests have found the house a perfect place to get out of the city and contemplate their next move, to see if they liked life in the country, or simply to experience the grace of nature’s presence. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, massage, Bowen, energy work available. Great hiking and skiing nearby. Living-style is see to your own needs eg make your own food and or take turns with dinner and clean out the tub when your done. There is a washer and dryer and an even better clothes line. The SpaceThis is an one of a kind rustic cabin in the woods of the Pontiac area of Quebec. One of the last secret spots in Quebec. The cabin was built 5 years ago and built to give it a true rustic/modern feel. Guest AccessGuess have full access to the cabin, including: a gas generator, extra firewood and staircase to the river. The NeighborhoodThe cabin is located on the Black River north of Waltham, Quebec. It is situated in a pine forest that boasts many small lakes. It is the perfect area for outdoor enthusiasts. Getting AroundYou will need a vehicle to get here. In the winter a 4x4 vehicle would be ideal. If you dont have a truck or 4x4, you can still come but will need to walk half a km on a trail. Other Things to NoteThe cabin is off the grid, you will need to bring up drinking water or drinking water can be supplied. There is a composting toilet that works great and no need to worry about it. In the winter, the water supply is limited as the water system is only 3 seasons. Water bags can be provide in the winter to take showers. The cabin is wired for electricity and has a simple power system. A generator charges a deep cycle battery that will run on its own after a charge for the night. The generator can also be used as a power storage during the day. There is no fridge at the cabin, Please bring up a cooler to refrigerate your food if needed.

Please make yourselves at home and use our kitchen and watch a movie. The NeighborhoodI love that we are a 5 minute drive to the historic Shaw Woods bald eagles and nature trails. And only 10 minutes to the Bonnechere Caves. Getting AroundWe are located on a paved road (County Road 9). Bicycling is nice around our home on gravel roads. Other Things to NoteWe have had visitors from all over the world through (URL HIDDEN) and am just wanting to give airbnb a try! Looking forward to meeting you.

The SpaceThe cottage has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, and one with a bunk bed - single over a double. The linen, duvets, and towels are included. There is a love seat in the living room which can accommodate one more slim person! There is a bathroom with bath and shower head with water coming directly from the river. Drinking water is provided by a Culligan cooler. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is an outdoor Barbecue. Guest AccessThere is a private rocky beach for swimming and boat launching, and there is a canoe with lifejackets and paddles available for guests. Other Things to NoteThe cottage is situated on a quiet stretch of the Ottawa River upstream from several white water rafting companies which offer day long and weekend long rafting trips, as well as white water kayak clinics. There are walking trails nearby, and the road offers quiet paved roads for walking and biking,

Very quiet area, no neighbours on either side. Step out of the cottage right onto sand, run to the water for swimming and fishing. The water is shallow, great for kids but can also walk to Murphy's point, which is ideal for swimming.

      The SpaceWe look forward to hosting you to our home. We live in a beautiful part of the Ottawa Valley. Our quaint village of Beachburg has much to offer as you visit our area. We are known as having the BEST RAPIDS in the World. If you are an outdoor adventurist we recommend you explore the shores of the Ottawa River. People have been coming from around the world to paddle the rapids of the Ottawa. There is beautiful calm waters to canoe and kayak as well. We have two pleasure kayaks that you are welcome to use as well. We have Old Mill Pond in our backyard for you to explore as well as a couple of bikes we could share. For a little extra fee I could pack a picnic of your choice with refreshments or a bottle of wine or coolers of your choice. We know the area well and can suggest many pretty areas for you to enjoy. There are many walking and biking trails set with marked paths that Mother Nature has created in all her beauty. If rafting is something you would like to try, we can give many suggestions as my husband Rick ran Wilderness Tours for many years. Our Son and Daughter-in-law Nick Troutman and Emily Jackson are both World Champion Kayakers and for a kayaking enthusiest, we could help with tips in that area as well. If you enjoy golf.... there are many courses to choose from. Zip Lining is another experience you may enjoy. We have boutiques for your shopping pleasure with that " One of a Kind" for that someone special. Dining possibilities for every casual or formal style of eating you enjoy with live entertainment on weekends. Markets for fresh foods are fun during the summer months as well. Horseback riding in tunnel covered forest trails might be something to try or even Bungee jumping. There are a few museums in our area as well. Why not make some real memories to talk about. Micro Breweries to relax and kick back with unique rustic setting in a barn and barnyard. Fishing is well known on numerous lakes and rivers. Boating is awesome to watch a sunset and sunrise does not get any better. For a fee we could take you out on our pontoon boat and putsy in a beautiful setting. Quebec is just across the river and Ottawa is 1 1/2 hours away. We can also provide a bonfire for your evening enjoyment or relax around our swimming pool in the sunshine. Bring your cooler or ask and we will purchase your refreshments and snacks to add to your tab. We will provide fresh flowers in your room upon arrival and candles are often lit in the evenings with soft music. Ladies will have a housecoat and slippers ready as well. Let us know when booking what you may like for breakfast and we will try our best to make it happen. We have a fan to keep you cool in the summer and an electric fireplace in the living room for the evening. There is soft outdoor lighting in our gazebo and a tree that is lit with a pond that trickles water. We have a tiny puppy- named Missy who is a pound and a half in size and loves to cuddle. The winter provides a whole new venue of beauty. We have an annual skating pond open as the weather permits, with hot chocolate or marshmallows on an open fire and music in the background. For a fee we could arrange a horse drawn wagon or sleigh ride in beautiful trails. Snow shoeing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling trails just minutes away. Down hill skiing not far as well. Our local recreation center usually creates an outdoor skating pond with benches. We could pack a basket to keep your inners warm, for a small fee. The winters are magical and spring opens the possibilities of exploring the Maple Sugar bush. The Fall leaves crunching and filling your senses with beautiful aromas make a walk to remember. Getting AroundWe are in a quaint village and biking or walking are a wonderful way to explore it.... a car will take you to some unique places as you create that perfect holiday. A boat, kayak or canoe is the way to discover the lakes and rivers. Why not roller blade or skateboard or horse back ride for fun. Oh the possibilities. Bring your canoe, kayak or paddle-board or simply take a good book and camera and relax on our viewing platform at the top of Lake Colounge. With 3.5 acres, you be able to enjoy our local wildlife and the scenic Laurentian Mountains of Quebec rising across the river. We have full Wi-Fi and television satellite service.
