Very few places you can do that in Charlotte. You will like to stay in a SAFE established neighborhood while you visit Charlotte, rather than in some new developments which are most likely in the rough areas. The house is located at the best part of the town. If you are visiting Charlotte, it is the best neighborhood in such a great deal rate (Ask anybody knows Charlotte about my location).
The street is really quiet day and night. You can guarantee have a good night sleep. You will enjoy the best neighborhood of Charlotte once you settle in. Great community feeling. An Architecture showcase.
Most walkable part of town. With easy pedestrian access to grocery, coffee shops, numerous restaurants and Freedom Park. Very convenient, walking distance to CMC Main, Carolinas Medical Center, Levine's Children Hospital, UNC School of Medicine Charlotte Campus, Myers Park, The Metropolitan, Sedgefield, Queens University of Charlotte, and Southend. You don't need your car much if you actually live here.
Ask anyone who lives in Charlotte about the neighborhoods and the specific location. It is Safe, Quiet, and Beautiful. Just great!
Perfect for Medical students, physicians who is going to do rotation/residency at CMC. Less than 5 mins easy walk to CMC-main. Guest AccessShared Bathroom
Laundry room Interaction with GuestsGuest will be given lots of privacy and moderate interaction to ensure a calm and relaxing stay. Mutual respect is very appreciated.
I am expecting guests to do their own research and be well informed. The NeighborhoodReal estate has three rules: location, location, and location.
The house actually belongs to both Dilworth and Myers Park, two best neighborhoods in Charlotte. Sidewalks, parks and best of all, walk to everything. Heaven for runners and bikers!
Another great Charlotte neighborhood, Eastover is also in walking distance.
About Myers Park
Stately, distinguished homes on beautiful tree-lined streets with some of the most beautiful churches in Charlotte...that would be the neighborhood of Myers Park. Myers Park lies just blocks from Charlotte's Uptown and was at one time home to some of the city's most prominent society members from politicians to real estate developers.
There is no better introduction to Charlotte NC than a tour through historic Myers Park, via Queens Road. Here, some of the city’s grandest homes are framed by a canopy of massive, old willow oaks. Myers Park Charlotte NC emerged from a large cotton farm in 1911 and continues to be one of Charlotte's most beautiful communities. Large lot sizes, stately architecture and wonderful neighbors make Myers Park a sought-after historic community in Charlotte NC.
East Blvd, lined with shops and restaurants sits in the heart of Dilworth, which began as Charlotte's first streetcar suburb and was established by Edward Dilworth Latta in the 1890s on 250 acres just southwest of the original city limits and included the Joseph Forsyth Johnson designed Latta Park. Like neighboring Myers Park, the streets of Dilworth feature stately, mature oak trees, sidewalks, and houses with front porches. Getting AroundIn a nutshell, You need a car, unless you only stay in Charlotte for less than 2 days, or your venue in within walking distance of my place. Uber is great, but be aware the cost adding up if you have multiple destinations.
Charlotte is a very car dependent city. A vehicle will give you much more freedom.
However, If you don't want to rent a car and you only stay in Charlotte for 1 day or 2. The First choice is Uber or Lyft. The last choice would be Bus. The bus line 6 around the corner of my place will be sufficient enough. (6 line takes you directly to the center of uptown/cross stress from Time Warner Arena, $2.2 per ride with one transfer option). If you like walking, (only when you have time and the weather is good) 30 mins you can walk to downtown also.
To enjoy the three great neighborhoods, Dilworth, Myers park and Eastover-which are not a tourist region but a high quality living area, by foot is the best way. Other Things to NoteThank you for reading the listing details and doing your own research! :)
I will not rent to somebody who don't read the whole listing description, which is guest's responsibility.
I am doing airbnb hosting because I agree with the idea of sharing economy which can help build a better community and create a win-win situation. My initial intention, when I started airbnb, was to provide this room for medical students/professionals who is on rotation/interning at CMC and want a short-term, safe, clean and affordable place to stay. I was in the similar situation before and there was no such a service available at the time. And that's why I am hosting and list the room at such a low rate.
Airbnb is not a hotel service. If you don't understand and agree with the self-sufficient idea of airbnb, Please don't book. This will save both of us time. Thank you.
The room's decoration is really simple and basic, but sufficient for a guest to stay comfortably.(Plus, Iron, needle and thread provided in case you need them) If you want a luxury stay, I would recommend you to stay at Ritz-Carlton :)
Prefer someone could stay for more than two days, in this case you can really enjoy the neighborhood. A taste of South!
Thank you for reading~~
