Our house is also situated 3 minutes walk away from the Capitals main hospital in Castries Victoria hospital it is also situated near to Tapion a private hospital and St Lucia's New National Hospital. It's only a 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes bus ride away to Castries town centre. Close to good transport links including George Compton Highway, taxi and local bus transit service which is located minutes away by the hospital. There is also a local gym situated 5 minutes walk down the road. If hiring a vehicle it is advised to get a 4x4 car. The property is available for both Short and long term self catering rentals.     The SpaceThis cottage shares a verdant, tropical courtyard with the main house. Patios from both bedrooms look west onto Caribbean sea and beautiful sunsets. It is complete with washing machine, TV, cable, Internet My husband and I are retired, but I am still an active artist. My studio is situated on the court yard also. I give painting and jewelry lessons. We have a tennis court. It is cool and quiet here with easy access to the main highway that connects to beaches, sites and activities. The island is only 15 x 45 miles so the distances are relatively small. 1/2 hour to Northern beaches, hotels and casino.1 hour to Pitons and sulphur Springs areas. A rental car is suggested.

The NeighborhoodWe live in the neighbourhood of Bois Cachet (hidden wood) It is a small community where neighbours will greet you, the local children are very friendly. Getting AroundIt is possible to use public transport but you need to like walking. We live on a hill and it is possible to walk down to the bus stop and on your return to the house take the bus stop further up the hill and walk down to the property. The drive way is however quite steep and is reasonably strenuous, especially taking into account the heat as well if you are not used to it. We have a couple of reliable taxi drivers who can pick you up and drop you off, returning for you at a given time. Ask Cathy for more details.
