The SpaceThe Villa is part of a gated community of a small number of villas with 24-hour security, built in the same style as the adjacent all-suites luxury Ayara Hilltops Boutique Resort & Spa property.
From 50 meters above the sea level, the Villa and its pool offer spectacular views of the Andaman Sea and the tropical lush vegetation of the hilltops along the horizon. However, it is a relatively easy walk up to the Villa (unlike to the rest of the gated community) as it is positioned just one level above the hotel. You can make it even more pleasant and less steep by cutting through the Hilltops hotel.
Positioned on a different level of a hill slope and separated from other villas by mature tropical gardens, the Villa offers sufficient seclusion for comfort and privacy. It is not overlooked by any neighboring properties and you will not see your neighbors (unless you want to, and walk over to a different level of the hill).
The Villa is most comfortable if occupied by a maximum of six adults and up 4 children (depending on children’s age).
The Villa features:
•Two identical mirror-image master bedrooms on both sides of the reception area, each with its own en-suite bathroom (with free-standing baths and showers).
•The third, separate, bedroom is on a level down, with a large window giving onto the tropical garden, with adjoining bathroom with a shower.
•A spacious, open-plan, tiered reception, with an office space (equipped with a computer, printer/scanner, fax) and entertainment area with a large 40” plasma screen, satellite TV (with all major TV and news channels), DVD player and surround sound system.
•A large separate fully equipped kitchen with a central cooking counter/island.
The outdoor area offers:
•A beautiful infinity pool, tiled with black hand-made ceramic tiles.
•Two outdoor open pavilions, “salas”, under traditional Thai-style wooden roof structures – one with a lounging area and one with an outdoor al fresco dining area, with its own fridge in the serving counter.
•Well-established garden, predominantly with palm trees and large Bougainvillea bushes.
•An outdoor shower in the garden on the side of the house, with a large Khmer style Buddha relief and a water pond.

Interaction with GuestsFull-time live-in housekeeper/driver lives in a studio on the side of the house with a separate entrance (for privacy). She has been there for over eight years and knows the property and the island intimately.
Housekeeper services include:
•daily cleaning of the Villa,
•weekly change of the sheets/bedding,
•laundry, as and when needed,
•cooking and shopping on request,
•arranging airport transfers (pick up and drop off by taxi), and rental cars with or without a driver, according to your needs,
•On request, arranging for a private masseuse to come to the Villa at an additional reasonable price, payable by the Guests to the masseuse directly.
There is also a good limo service nearby, with a small fleet of new SUVs, who are available for trips around the island on short notice. The housekeeper can help you organize a pick up or explain how to walk over.
The NeighborhoodThe Villa is located in the Surin Beach area on the west coast of Phuket, just 25 minutes from the international airport.
Surin is a quiet and relaxing area of Phuket, but you are never far from a great number of holiday activities to suit every taste. For example:
•Surin Beach itself has more than a dozen restaurants – from simple Thai beach food/fruit stands to elegant and sophisticated Beach Clubs and discos.
•Catch beach club and restaurant, with dancing (think Nikki Beach style).
•One of the best hotels in the world, the Amanpuri, is a fifteen-minute walk away and is just below the Villa.
•Several other good hotels are also within walking distance and offer everything from good cuisine, bars, lounges, spas, etc.
•There are four excellent golf courses on Phuket: Red Mountain, Blue Canyon, Laguna (the closest to the Villa) and the Banyan Tree (also close by).
•Patong Beach, the tourist center of authentic Phuket, with its vibrant street life, dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, street stalls and boutiques, night clubs and discos, as well as a modern shopping center, is 20 minutes by car/taxi or a traditional “took-took” (an open street car for the more adventurous).
•Other beautiful beaches are only minutes away. Ten minutes walk from the Villa is Da Ali restaurant on Lem Sing Beach, which has The Best seafood pasta in the world! Da Ali is a simple shack with a straw roof, where you sit with your feet in the sand, sipping cocktails, but their freshly cooked mouthwatering crab spaghetti will make you drool at the memory for years afterwards.
•Sporting activities on Surin Beach include: jet-skis, parasailing and banana boats rides. Powerboat trips can be booked for excursions along the coast and to the Snake Island (no snakes!) for great snorkeling to see the corals and colorful fish and underwater world! Diving and deep-sea fishing trips can be arranged on Surin Beach too.
•Several hotels nearby offer day spas with massages and treatments for non-hotel guests.
•Day trips to Phi-Phi and Phangna islands (smaller holiday destinations, compare to the varied and larger community and amenities of Phuket) by ferry are also possible.
•Several elephant trekking trips are available nearby.
•Phuket Fantasia, a two-hour show, featuring the culture and history of Thailand, and other attractions for adults and children, including live white tigers, is only 2.5km away.
•The island of Phuket is blessed with dozens of beautiful Buddhist and Chinese temples.
•Scattered on Phuket are hundreds of small and large shops selling fabrics, silks, leather goods, jewelry, antiques and handicrafts.
Getting AroundYou can rent a car and either drive yourself or ask the housekeeper to drive you. Alternatively, you can take taxis (again, the housekeeper can help you organise that or explain where you can catch one), or use traditional Thai street type of transportation, a took took, for local flavour.
