The SpaceDriftwood is a beautifully presented, light and airy house, equipped to a very high standard. The house is double storey with the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living and dining area downstairs and a mezzanine lounge upstairs. Driftwood's accommodation consists of: Bedroom with king size (6ft) bed, bedside tables, reading lamps, alarm clock, double mirrored wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and chest of drawers. Bath robes and slippers are provided. Leading off the bedroom is a semi en-suite bathroom with shower enclosure, vanity unit, WC. A hairdryer is provided as well as a selection of toiletries, cotton wool and tissues. The lounge is open plan and features two 2 seater sofas, coffee table, 42" LED TV, Apple TV, docking station/cd player/radio, selection of board games. Dining area/kitchen has views onto the courtyard and features sliding patio door, seating for 4 around with dining table, well equipped kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, crockery and utensils. We also have a microwave oven, dishwasher, electric oven, gas cooktop, large fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and selection of capsules. We provided you with kitchen basics such as soap, dishcloths, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, tea, sugar, kitchen roll, foil, cling wrap, baking paper. Leading off the kitchen we have a laundry room with washer/dryer, iron, ironing board. Washing powder is provided. Upstairs, is a comfortable mezzanine lounge area with a 48" LED TV, PS3 and wide selection of books to read. We can accommodate an additional two guests in this room by converting the King Furniture Delta II modular sofa into either 2 single beds or 1 queen size bed. (Please note: This room is not suitable for young children to sleep in, due to it being open to the staircase) Outside comprises of an enclosed garden at the front with seating for two and at the rear we have a courtyard with outside dining for four, a water feature and a gas barbecue. Also at the rear of the property we have a single garage and a parking space. High quality linen and towels, including beach towels, are provided for your stay. Free WIFI. If you need anything we live 10 minutes from the property and are only a phone call away. The NeighborhoodDriftwood is situated in a great location for exploring Perth and its surrounds. Located in the Somerly area of Clarkson, 35kms north of Perth, everything you need is close to hand. Within walking distance is a convenience store, doctors, pharmacy, cafe, restaurants, plenty of buses and the train station. Ocean Keys Shopping Centre is a three minute drive away. Here there is a good selection of shops, supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants. Want even more shops? Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre, Western Australia's largest shopping centre, is only 6 minutes by train or a 10 minute drive. Mindarie Marina, is a 5 minute drive from Driftwood. Relax with a coffee, cold drink or ice cream in one of the many bars, cafes and restaurants and watch the boats pass by. Perth's numerous beautiful white sandy beaches are all on your doorstep. Take the scenic tourist drive along the coast and maybe stop in one of the numerous cafes and restaurants along the way. Mindarie 3km, Quinns Beach 6km, Burns Beach 6km, Mullaloo 12km, Trigg 27km, Scarborough 29km and Cottesloe Beach 38km. Hillarys Boat Harbour, 18km Perth's premier recreation destination for visitors and locals alike is a 20 minute drive. The harbour offers a wide selection of restaurants, shops, cafes, bars and activities including water slides, The Aquarium of Western Australia, Fish, Dive and Whale Watching Charters, Harley Down Under Tours. From here you can also catch the Rottnest Fast Ferry for a day trip to the beautiful and unspoilt Rottnest Island where you can snorkel and see the native Quokkas. Heading north, Yanchep National Park, 20km (18 mins) is a great day out. See the Koalas, spot the kangaroos, visit the caves and aboriginal experience or walk a nature trail. Getting AroundClose to the Clarkson Train Station. Buses run 150m from the house regularly to the station and the Mitchell Freeway to Perth is 10 minutes down the road.       Guest AccessThe property is located in the Northern suburb of Clarkson, surrounded by parkland in a great central location to shops, schools and the Clarkson train station. 900m to Clarkson train station for easy access to Joondalup Lakeside shopping centre and Perth CBD, the nearest bus stop is also here The nearest park to the house is just around the block, a 150m walk, with a large area for playing ball and tracks for riding bikes. A lovely kids play park with barbeque facilities is 300m from the house. The nearest large shopping center with Kmart, Coles, Woolworths, banks, post office 2 service stations, several take-away shops, pub and anything else you might need, is Ocean Keys Shopping Center and Bunnings right next to it, which is 1.7km from the house. There is also a skate park and BMX tracks as well as a public library. Somerly Central Medical Center is also located at the Ocean Keys Center with dentists, optometrists, doctors and other medical services. The house is 3.8km from a beautiful swimming beach called Claytons Beach and the same distance from dining at Mindarie Marina.

Tennis courts are close by, there are parks for the children including a picturesque duckpond which is just five houses away. Close to bus and train station. The house is well located for everything you need. A ten minute drive will take you to Yanchep national park where you can see Koalas, visit adjacent golf course and watch all kinds of Australian wildlife, Kangaroos and Emus roam freely through the course.                                 Driftwood is a modern one bedroom house providing a high standard of accommodation. The house is close to public transport, restaurants, cafes and beaches, which makes it an ideal location for visiting Perth. Situated in a great location, 35km north the city. Leave the car at home and walk to the station, from there you can relax as the train makes the 39 minute journey into the city, no need to worry about parking and more time to explore the city! In fact, Driftwood is within 30 minutes of most of Perth's attractions, as well as stunning beaches all along the coast and picturesque wineries in the Swan Valley. As well as being in a great location the house is beautifully decorated and well equipped to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Downstairs is the bedroom, with king (180cm) size bed and quality linen. A shower rooms leads off from the bedroom. The open plan living room/kitchen/diner is light and airy. For your entertainment there is a TV, Apple TV, Docking Station and selection of board games. The kitchen is well equipped with all pantry basics, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and Nespresso coffee machine. Off the kitchen is a laundry with washer/dryer (washing powder provided). Upstairs is another comfortable lounge area with large sofa, TV, PS3 and selection of books. We can turn the sofa in this room into a bed, in order to accommodate up to 2 additional guests (please note this room is open to the stairs and not suitable for young children to sleep in). Getting AroundOne enclosed garage and one driveway parking. The train station is less than 1km away, the shopping centre is about 2km's and the beach is about 4kms. 35 min into the city, 10min to Joondalup. Other Things to NotePlease be aware that due to water restrictions and high summer weather the lawns are not in as great condition as they are in the photo's. We do as best as we can with the restrictions. Note: the house is fully serviced and cleaned before every arrival of guests, we can not prevent webs or other critters around the house during stays. Please do not comment about the condition of property unless you are prepared to leave the house in the same condition or better (if you think possible) than how you found it, we personally spend hours cleaning after guests (even though they are asked to leave the property as it was found) and we take the greatest care to have the house clean and tidy for new guests.
