Interaction with GuestsThe apartment is very spacious - there is plenty of space and privacy. We do love to interact with our guests and are very welcoming and inclusive. It's a beautiful, friendly neighbourhood and you will feel very comfortable here. Getting AroundOur apartment is on a major bus route into the City. Buses are frequent (every 5-15 minutes) and you can catch the bus all the way to Sydney Harbour and the Opera House in less than 30 minutes! You can also catch a bus to Bondi Junction train station and Westfield shopping mall which is only 5-10 minutes drive away. We are also only 10kms / 20 minutes drive from Sydney International Airport! (Approximately $35 taxi ride). Centennial Park is closeby, as well as all the famously beautiful Eastern Suburb beaches. An enjoyable house for everyone 5 Generations from 3 months to 93 years decamped themselves in this spacious home for a week. Enough space for everyone [11 adults and 2 children], with direct access to the coast path and within minutes of Coogee Centre. Michael, the owner was extremely helpful. Amazing location Amazing, unmatchable location, perched on the cliff overlooking Gordons Bay, yet still maintaining easy access to the water through the back gate. This was the perfect place for us to spend a week with our family - kayaking, snorkelling, swimming or just taking in the view. Great orientation by the owner, and easily contactable whenever we needed to clarify anything. We would happily recommend this place for anyone wanting a bit of Sydney beachside luxury living. Second visit Our most recent visit was the second time we have used the "Pumpkin" and it will not be our last. Michael is an excellent host and the home is a perfect venue for our Sydney based Board meeting. Waterside Luxury Our stay in this beautiful, spacious and meticulously maintained property was a perfect way to enjoy Sydney's spectacular coastline in and around Coogee. A superbly comfortable residence, located in a quiet cul de sac, it was an ideal location to relax and unwind with all creature comforts on hand. With Sydney's picturesque coastal walk on it's doorstep and Coogee and Clovelly Beaches within easy walking distance, it was easy to access a myriad of cafes, restaurants and shops. WOW We rented this beautiful house for the weekend of my daughters wedding. Grandparents, parents, siblings, cousins all stayed. There was so much room, we were never under each others feet! On arrival we met Michael who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The night before the wedding, we had a lovely BBQ on the balcony, played pool, had a few 'quiet' drinks. The downstairs self contained area was absolutely perfect for the bridal party to get ready - hairdresser, makeup etc.- yet away from prying eyes! The professional photos taken of the bride in the house are unbelievable! To top the weekend off, we were able to unwind the day after the wedding - lazing about the pool and generally relaxing! Highly recommend this house - the pictures don't do it justice! Exactly what we were looking for! This holiday house was everything we wanted and more and was exactly as advertised. It was the perfect place to get the family together to celebrate my father in laws 60th birthday. We enjoyed family dinners overlooking Gordon's Bay, everyone enjoyed our own private access to the beach and famous Bondi to Coogee walk. The house was neat and tidy and full of entertainment options. The fridge & pantry came stocked with the basics to get us started on our holiday, which was very thoughtful. Michael was a pleasure to deal with and I will be happily recommending his property to anyone wanting a large holiday home on the water to spend quality time with family or friends in the Sydney area. We all had an amazing time and the stay is something we'll all remember for years to come. House with spectacular view We're a family with 4 children from Malaysia. We stayed at Michael's house for 5 nights. Our children liked it because of the ample space, they could play hide and seek or just laze around after a tiring day of sightseeing. Me and my husband enjoyed especially the walk in the park, which was just at the doorstep from the backdoor! Most of the nights, we and the kids would take a slow walk through the park to the restaurants nearby. Which was a nice 20 minutes walk, with beautiful seaview, it's quiet and safe. Oh I must mention this - we saw from the master bedroom, whales from a distance jumping out of the water! We didn't mind paying for the view, not at all. I mentioned this to Michael too - his is a house with a million dollar view! All in all, thumbs up, in every way. Last comment - very well maintained house. 6 stars If you are looking and considering staying here and your dates are available - book now or you might miss out. You wouldn't know what you missed but if you did you would be sad. For a group stay it just doesn't get any better. Awesome is the word that was bantered around constantly over the week we were there. 5 out of 5 The location of the house was superb, next to walks along the coast, beaches and near CBD. Facilities of house was great with something to suit all ages, eg swimming pool, trampoline and pool table. House was very clean and well looked after. The house was in very good conditions and every time I talked to Michael (the owner) regarding small issues about the house, he promply fixed the problem. We had a great time in this beautiful house. The views are overwhelming - much better than the photos. Inside, the house is very roomy and comfortable and there was nothing left wanting. Its a very peaceful location, so partying on through the night is not a good idea. But if you like chilling out with a bunch of family or friends, then this place is perfect. we loved it. Large Family Friendly We had a need to get a large house to get a large family in. Our host Michael's house ticked all the boxes. The kids could retreat down stairs for music and peace, the adults could share the middle floor for relaxation and peace and bed rooms were on the top floor. The house has every thing. Kitchen to feed a large family, pool table, piano, pool, 2 minutes to the beach, a paved walkway around spectacular Sydney coast line,views, views ,views. from every floor. Ample beds, 5 minutes walk to the Coggee shops and buses. 30 minute bus to Sydney CBD and hosts who are only 5 minutes away if you need anything. When a family shares the costs it becomes very reasonable. Feb 2014 Absolutely Stunning House in Coogee As the title says, it's an amazing home with million $ views. The rooms were great with lovely views to the bay also nice (URL HIDDEN) layout is good for a large group,there is plenty of room at the snooker table which ajoins the large TV lounge . The kitchen dinning area has a great view and a warm sunny position good for slow Sunday morning breakfasts. Easy to walk down to Coogee( 20mins) we also walked to Bondi via the coast (1 1/2 hours) . We, 5 adults & 4 teenagers, arrived to a warm and courteous reception from the owner and left after two glorious weeks to very much of the same. The house met and bettered expectations from the luxury of the home itself to the amenities and fittings which were described in the brochure. The view is awesome, the beds comfortable, and the house is well equipped. It is a short ten minute walk from Coogee beach (with restaurant, groceries, and bus connections to the CBD). It is just above Gordon Bay, which has an underwater nature trail for scuba or snorkelling). It is a 75 minute walk along the shore to Bondi Beach. Michael is helpful and accomodating. We have rented beautiful homes in a number of countries and this was right up there." A bistro, deli and bakery complete our very local area as well as the Clovelly Hotel (pub). We are 1 minute from Gordons Bay, with an amazing underwater snorkelling trail, calm water and an interesting rocky shoreline, perfect for sunbaking and lagoon-style swimming. Getting AroundJust around the corner you can catch the bus to Bondi Junction (10 minutes) for Westfield shopping centre or the City (20 minutes). 2 pre-loaded adult and 2 pre-loaded child Opal cards are provided for your convenience. There is also free parking on the street. The airport shuttle is the best way to get here, or of course a taxi. Other Things to NoteWe have a Nespresso machine with a starter pack of coffee. Shampoo, conditioner and soap to make travelling a little easier! All bed linen, bath towels and beach towels are included. Please strip beds before you leave. The SpaceThe flat is a two bedroom residence within a quiet block of 6 units. The room features a double bed, built-ins with ample storage, full length mirror, and large north facing window. It can more than accommodate a duo's hefty luggage without suitcases etc getting in the way. Newly renovated, the entire residence is crisp and minimalist, and being close to the coast, is visited by soft evening breezes. Guest AccessGuests will have full access to the private bedroom, the lounge room and TV, kitchen, microwave and stove (if you prefer to prepare your own food), shower/bath. I buy bread, milk, and eggs for the house - there is no need to buy any of these. My fridge isn't the biggest. I will ask you ahead of time, whether you have any bread/milk allergies or preferences. There are ample laundromats and dry cleaners, a minute's walk away, the closest being on my block. Interaction with GuestsAs I live in the second bedroom, I will be present throughout your stay. However, as I work full time, the house will be all yours during the day. You will have all the privacy and peace you like, or all the conversation and assistance you like. The NeighborhoodSituated on the border of Coogee, Randwick, and Clovelly, the building is walking distance to Clovelly and Coogee beaches, and Gordon's Bay. Alternatively, it's also a short drive to historic Randwick, and the gourmet & cinematic hub of 'The Spot'. The building is just off the main street which is village-like, and lined with cafes, convenience stores, newsagencies, natural therapies, yoga studios, and bus stops. It's also close to UNSW, and the Prince Of Wales Hospital. Getting Around- 20 minute direct bus to Central Station - 25 - 30 minute direct bus into the CBD, passing through trendy Surry Hills. - 5 minute direct bus to Bondi Junction. - 10-15 minute walk to Clovelly Beach and Gordon's Bay. - 20 minute walk to Coogee Beach. - 10 minute walk to bus stop connecting you to Randwick. To And From Kingsford Smith Airport: - You can take the 400 bus to & from the airport to my place. When arriving, get off the bus on the corner of Frenchman's Rd & Clovelly Rd (outside a petrol station). It's a 10 minute walk up Clovelly rd to my place from there. Keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. This is the cheapest option. - A taxi from the airport will take around half an hour, and will set you back around $40 (estimate only). Other Things to NoteThe building has no lift, and there are three flights of stairs to get to my floor (something to note when lugging luggage).

Expansive living areas take up the entire ground floor. All rooms have expansive water views. All floors are polished hardwood 90 year old jarrah timber floors. A superb granite and caesar stone gourmet kitchen leads to the eating area and onto its own balcony. Bi-fold doors retract back to allow the sea breezes in and uninterrupted views of the beach and the terraced gardens below. Adjacent is the family living area, the focal point of the house, with its 10 metre floor to ceiling glass window views taking in a massive expanse of blue sky, horizon and ocean. The full width balcony completes access to the outside and views beyond. A telescope allows close up views of the constant array of sailing boats, whales (in season) paddle boarders, scuba divers and swimmers. The family room has its own gas Jetmaster fireplace and digital TV with surround sound. On the same level lies the formal living room also with floor to ceiling windows providing, at one end, a different view of the gardens and beach below; and at the other end the floor to ceiling windows view directly onto the private lawn, formal hedge and wrought iron fence. Also on ground level is a separate marble guest toilet and vanity. The internal laundry (complete with clothes shute from the second floor) also has a separate pull chain toilet and another shower (perfect for returning from the beach below and washing off the sand). The SpaceOur unit is nice, airy and bright with fantastic ocean and district views. Two bedrooms, two queen size beds. A cot and change table in the bigger bedroom There is a large and comfy couch and a big dining table. A nice sunroom for reading and relaxing. We've a nice balcony with beautiful district and ocean views. You'll be able to see the best snorkelling spot in Sydney from there. In fact, you'll see the ocean from the couch. And it's only a short stroll to get in :) The BBQ is great as well! If it's season for it, you'll be able to spot migrating whales from the balcony as they travel north or south along the coast. 5 mins walk to Coogee, Gordon's Bay and Clovelly. There is a tennis court across the road and a nice bakery and coffee shop around the corner. In Coogee, you will find nightlife, restaurants and lots of little shops. We have a body board and some snorkelling gear that you're welcome to use. Buses to the city and/or Bondi Junction across the street or at a cross street 100 meters away. We will leave towels out for you and the beds will be freshly made. We are happy to answer any questions you may have in regards to your stay and the neighbourhood. The SpaceMore like half a house, this huge apartment occupies the entire second floor of my two storey beach house. It is completely self contained with own laundry, balcony with views overlooking the ocean, an outdoor dining table that seats 8, a barbecue, all mod cons including wireless internet. It's particularly suitable for visiting doctors or academics as the university and hospital are only a short distance away. The apartment has plenty of desk space. There are two double bedrooms, each with built in wardrobes. One has a built in desk across the width of the room. One bedroom has a wall mounted TV in it, the other flatscreen TV is in the living room. The kitchen is galley style, extremely functional with very modern appliances and everything you need for the gourmet cook, including a walk in pantry. I built the apartment for myself to live in and I love to cook! I now live in the downstairs apartment. We share one back entrance. There is unfortunately no parking onsite, but plenty of street parking. My place is the perfect holiday apartment for international travellers or visiting academics or doctors as it is on the bus route to the University of New South Wales and the Prince of Wales Hospital. It is three minutes walk to the beach and plenty of cafes and restaurants. You will find me a helpful host, who respects your privacy. A cleaner can come weekly to clean and change the linen for a small extra fee. In peak periods, and for longer bookings I make this compulsory. Please note, there is no air conditioner. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and lots of windows to help you keep cool. There is however plenty of heating for the winter months although in Sydney, it never gets that cold. The apartment is a a nice place for a dinner party and you will find superior china and glassware at your disposal and diary lights out on the balcony, along with pots of fresh herbs. I take pride in supplying high quality bedlinen too. Guest AccessGuest have access to the the garden, an outdoor clothes drying line, all mod cons, wifi in every room and on the balcony. There's also a terrific wooden clothes horse for drying smalls on the balcony. This is an apartment with more amenities than most holiday rentals. Getting AroundThere is a convenient bus service but Sydney is a car kind of town and if you want to see ALL the sights, then having a car is worthwhile.

The SpaceCome and stay in my apartment which has sea breezes, the sounds and smell of the ocean and a great way to spend a Sydney summer or autumn. I live very close to both Coogee Beach and Clovelly Beach and am situated on top of a beautiful spot known as Gordon's Bay which is great for snorkelling. There are many cliff top walks close to my apartment - ie you can walk all the way to Bondi Beach passing many other beaches and bays en route. My apartment is in a boutique block of 4 with a balcony with a small shared garden and your room is large and has a double bed plus wardrobe. You will be sharing the bathroom and kitchen with me. I have wifi throughout the apartment and have a comfortable living and dining area which you are welcome to use of course. There are buses from Coogee Beach to the centre of Sydney which take approx 25 minutes (my apartment is a 8 minute walk to the beach and buses). There are many restaurants and cafes in both Coogee and Clovelly and grocery stores, etc. Street parking is free. Guest AccessAs mentioned, you can share the living area with me as well as kitchen and laundry. There is also a small garden in my apartment block which we share with others in the building. Sometimes dolphins can be spotted from time to time. There are good restaurants and grocery stores in Coogee. Getting AroundCoogee is a $40 taxi ride from the airport. There is a shuttle bus which can be booked in advance which is $15 per person. I can book it for you. Otherwise you can take the train and then a bus from the city train station. The SpaceI travel a lot and while I'm away I like to let my space out to other travellers. The apartment is the HUGE downstairs half of an attractive 1920's beach house, five minutes walk to Coogee Beach and with attractive ocean views from most rooms. It's fully equipped, with its own laundry, a walk in pantry and gourmet's kitchen, a dining table that seats 12, modern bathroom with big, deep bath and shower, sunny verandah, sunroom with daybed, car parking, wi-fi, central heating AND an open fireplace, all mod cons as they say. You would have a big double bedroom while all my personal stuff is stored in an adjacent room. It suits me to have a couple or one person stay, but there is another single bed in the sunroom which would suit a child. The apartment is bigger than most Sydney houses! The neighbourhood is quiet, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and of course ocean wherever you look and walk. The house is just five minutes from the Coogee to Bondi Ocean Walk. There are lots of buses to the city at the bottom of the hill and from neighbouring streets. There is level access entry to the property and the house. It has a 1920's high stone wall all around. It's a unique property with a garden full of herbs- it would suit a fastidious cook, a couple looking for a holiday close to good eating and shopping but with a bit of wild nature thrown in as a bonus. Guest AccessGuests have access to everything, except the separate little office building in the backyard which is occasionally occupied during the day by a computer geek. The only shared amenity is the stairwell, external to the apartment. This is used as a common entry with the apartment upstairs. Interaction with GuestsThere is no interaction with guests. I only let the apartment when I am not living there. it is completely private. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood offers everything a great surf beach should. Big vistas, clean air, open spaces, fabulous walks and then because it is Sydney, terrific restaurants and good public transport. Getting AroundThe public buses are great, and the bus stop at the top of the street. A car may be available for cheap rent, depending on the time of year. It's what we call the 'farm car' for obvious reasons but if you don't mind driving a beaten up old Toyota van, its completely reliable and fine for long distances. It already has 250,000 mms on the clock! I may also be able to pick you up from the airport. Other Things to NoteA trusted cleaner is available at short notice who will do a weekly clean and linen change if required.
