The SpaceLarge...Clean...Comfy...and with Amazing ocean views.... The 2 bedroom, Apartment with kitchenette, is part of a Contemporary home with separate Entrance, Balcony and amenities. It sleeps up to 4 people and has a large outdoor deck overlooking the beach where you can enjoy the cool sea breezes, Bbq, relax and take in the breathtaking views. Large triple sliding doors and windows open onto the deck so that even when inside you feel you are enjoying an Al fresco environment. The kitchenette comes with fridge, oven, stove and dining table, the living area with lounges, DVD, TV, magazines and games. The house has been built with a suspended concrete slab so that noise does not filter down from upstairs (and of course we respect your privacy ). At the back of the house we have a safe Cul-de-sac for children. You will have no problem enjoying our apartment, the beach (a 2min walk), the sound of the waves and the impressive view. It is common to see dolphins and also whales during the season from the Apartment. We also have a 5 star rating and lots of positive ratings on other websites that we are already advertising with. The NeighborhoodThe apartment sits between Coledale and Austinmer at Sharkey beach on the Grand Pacific Drive just 1 hour south of Sydney It is a quiet and friendly area nestled on a thin strip of land between the mountain, rainforest and the Tasman Sea. It is a short walk to our many beautiful white sand beaches, surfing, and salt-water rock swimming pools. There are also the stylish and entertaining pubs , outdoor cafes, shops, theatre, arts and crafts and restaurants of Coledale, Austinmer and Thirroul .500metres from your door you will find a convenient cafe, Restaurant, General store, Newsagent, Bottleshop, Video store and RSL. It is also close to great mountain biking and hiking on the escarpment behind or, the Royal National Park and Famous Sea Cliff Bridge just 7mins to the north.There is a scenic and easy cycle path that winds 20km along the beaches and coastline. You can also try some surfing with one of the fun and exiting surf schools or perhaps take the thrill and excitement of a tandem hanglide or skydive. Golf, tennis and horse riding are easily accessible, the local tennis court only 5 minutes walk away. It is located on the south coast of New South Wales just 1 hour south of Sydney and the airport, or 30 minutes north of Wollongong, all easily accessible by train, bus or car. There are plenty of sports to keep you active, or you may just want to relax on a sun lounge and enjoy the view of the beach, waves, dolphins, catch a sun or moonrise over the sea or just listen to the sound of the ocean. The SpaceWelcome to our comfortable, tastefully fully furnished two bedroom flat with fabulous views of Austinmer beach, situated a little over an hour's drive south of Sydney. The apartment has a living area, kitchen, bathroom, balcony and fabulous views of Austinmer beach from the main bedroom, living area and the escarpment. The flat is air-conditioned and has wireless internet for you to use at your convenience. Your apartment is upstairs, entry via back of the house. It is a level 50m walk to patrolled beach and ocean pools, 200m to the train station (Sydney/Wollongong) and cafes/restaurant are at or near the beach. Shopping and restaurants are only 2 kilometres away in Thirroul. A footpath runs along beaches in both directions and there is a bike track to Wollongong from Thirroul. There is also bushwalking close by so you can enjoy all that Australia's abundant wildlife has to offer. Who knows, you might even get up and close with a kangaroo or kookaburra :)

Austinmer and the surrounding South Coast villages are plentiful for restaurant and cafe choices, but it is their beaches and rock pools that will leave you wondering if you've found paradise. The NeighborhoodAustinmer is like a small coastal village rather than a suburb and was named NSW's most beautiful beach a few years ago. It's a lovely beach with a grass area at the back for a picnic under the large norfolk pine trees. The beaches continue to the north and south and so you're spoilt for choice. A short walk to the west, is the massive Illawarra escarpment. This is a bush walker's dream. For the really keen you can walk an hour up hill to the top and be rewarded with sensational views. Getting AroundPublic transport is really convenient. The train from Sydney, or into Wollongong, is a short 400 metre walk at the end of the street.     The Space**NOTE we have 2 properties listed on Air Bnb** Welcome to our comfortable, little beach shack, with fabulous views of Austinmer escarpment and 5 minutes walk to Thirroul beach, situated a little over an hour's drive south of Sydney. The studio has an open plan living area, kitchen, bathroom, and small living room area. There is a small foldaway breakfast table and chairs for you to eat off and a 42 inch T.V for you to watch t.v. **Please note we have no sink in the en suite - so washing of face and brushing of teeth has to be done in the sink in the kitchen** There is a secondary rental flat next to this one, its bigger and we also have it advertised on AIR BNB as The Garden Retreat. Though rest assured, when you are in yours, you will feel totally alone. The studio flat you are renting is situated in between the other unit and our main house. Though you have lots of privacy ! There is also Air Con fitted, in case you wish to use it. We sometimes have mid-week and weekend prices, so if there is confusion over the price its probably as it can fluctuate depending on the day you stay etc. Guest AccessThe studio flat and the garden if you wish ! You can park your car on the street, it is very safe around here. Interaction with GuestsI can meet you upon arrival and afterwards, and will have my phone number should you need to contact me.     The SpaceThis is an astonishing oceanfront property. We moved in 2 years ago and still have not recovered from the view. The endlessly changing ocean vista is stunning, whether viewed having breakfast, lunch or dinner on our massive deck, or from our lounge room. Good bbq on the deck too. The house has been renovated - polished floors, new fittings - and is very family-friendly. It has two double bedrooms and a comfortable sofa bed in the third room. There are block-out curtains to stop kids ( or others) waking at dawn! The kitchen has lots of benchtop space and a new stove. The art-deco bathroom and toilet both have ocean views! The laundry downstairs, and the enclosed garden, are shared with a very nice couple who have a flat below. For those wet days, we have a HUGE selection of quality DVDs - everything from the best movies to box sets of Breaking Bad (we're smitten) and MadMen. Also some good kids' dvds like Futurama. Plenty of good books too. The large TV has Foxtel and wifi - cricket addicts can relax. Guest AccessHouse, laundry, garden, panoramic deck. Interaction with GuestsWe are always within mobile contact, and also have family locally should an emergency arise. We will leave a list of things to do locally etc and emergency contacts. The NeighborhoodAustinmer is the pearl of the Illawarra, a beautiful village just 90mins south of Sydney, where the dramatic escarpment meets the ocean. There are great cafes, boutique shops, and a fully supervised safe beach 5 mins from the house. Stanwell Tops nearby offers hang gliding and other adventure sports, while the Royal National Park (second-oldest in the world after Yosemite) has amazing walks and cycling, just 15 mins drive away. Getting AroundAustinmer railway station has regular trains to and from Sydney ( c. 1hr 40) and is about an 8min walk away. Buses go from 30m away to Wollongong.

      The Space**NOTE we have 2 properties listed on Air Bnb** Welcome to our peaceful, garden studio flat, with fabulous views of Austinmer escarpment and 5 minutes walk to Thirroul beach, situated a little over an hour's drive south of Sydney. The studio has 2 rooms, 1. Is the open plan living room/kitchen, with an Ikea couch, which has all bedding/sheets/duvet stored and ready to go, and is an EASY to use pull out double bed. ( Takes 2 seconds). Please note there is no formal dining table and chairs for eating etc, there is only a long coffee table in the main living room. 2. The other room has a queen bed, and adjacent to that, a separate washroom and bathroom. There is a 42 inch T.V for you to watch t.v. ( We also have a DVD player, and some movies available if you want to a 'netflix and chill' movie night) There will be towels provided upon arrival, just let us know how many guests are staying, and milk, tea, coffee and cereals will be provided. Local Attractions Austi Beach Café & Gelato Bar open 7 days Bushwalking trails and coastal walks, so you can enjoy all that Australia's abundant wildlife has to offer. Who knows, you might even get up and close with a kangaroo or kookaburra :) Also to offer there is Seacliff Bridge and a Bike track to Wollongong and beyond, stop at track-side cafes at Bulli, Woonona, or Towradgi on your ride. Less than 5 minutes walk away in Thirroul, antique, boutique,and gift shops, a haven for the shopaholic. Anita's Theatre. Ryan's Hotel, Beaches Hotel, Thirroul Bowling Club and an abundance of food shops, restaurants, take-away, fish and chips and cafes. Plenty of home-delivery options.       The SpaceThe house is beautifully furnished with a coastal relaxed retreat like style. The three QS bedrooms have quality bedlinen and comfy mattresses, each has a tv and its own outdoor space. The living areas are comfortable and spacious and opens out onto the large main deck, with comfortable outdoor furniture, its more like an outdoor lounge room. There a few dining options within walking distance and Thirroul Village is a 5 minute drive away with restaurants, pubs, cafes and boutiques. Wollongong is only 20 minutes drive or jump on the train. There are some great new eateries and bars in Wollongong too. Guest AccessGuest will have access to the whole house except the garage and a separate room downstairs.       The SpaceThe home has beautiful interiors with elevated ocean views from the open plan light filled living space, the master bedroom is downstairs and has a King size bed with an ensuite and bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed and bedroom 3 a double all with comfy mattresses both these rooms are upstairs facing the backyard onto the pool area and extensive lawn, there is also a 6 seater outdoor table and dining chairs , 2 sun lounges and BBQ perfect after a day at the beach. Austinmer patrolled beach, Austi rockpool and the famous Austi beach cafe are all only a 10min stroll away, You also have Thirroul village a short 5 min drive away with its many cafes and shops. Guest AccessGuest will have access to the whole house except the garage. There is parking for 2 cars available off the street, directly in front of the double garage doors.
