The SpaceNestled in a quiet neighborhood right in the middle of everything in downtown Columbia MD, this charming home is sure to make your stay comfortable and relaxing! A guest bedroom is available in a 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath, 2-story, 1140-square foot townhome in Columbia Town Center. My townhome is an end unit, next to woods with a paved trail and a playground for kids. The guest room is on the second floor, with window facing the woods.
This is a pet-friendly home (for house-trained pets; no ferrets). I have one 70-pound hound dog who prefers to have his belly rubbed, and one cat who prefers to sit in the kitchen window and watch the birds go by, or snuggle on your lap.
Your bedroom has a double bed with a pillow-too, memory foam mattress. Quite comfortable!
Your bedroom includes a walk-in close which has been converted to part-closet, part-office space with room to hang clothes as well as a desk. Wireless internet is available.
If you bring your dog, please use a leash and clean up after it.
The proximity to Merriweather and Symphony Woods is a big draw for this neighborhood. Guests can park here in the neighborhood and walk across the road. Wine-in-the-Woods each spring, and concerts from spring to fall are quite popular. Guest AccessGuests will get an individualized 4-digit code to unlock the front door. Downstairs kitchen, dining, and living areas are shared. Wireless internet available. Washer/dryer available. Breakfast comes with your stay (I will make breakfast foods available to you), and you are welcome to use the kitchen, fridge, spices, etc. to fix your other meals while you are here. Interaction with GuestsI work outside the home, and stay pretty busy outside of work also. Guests should make themselves at home and be comfortable. If I'm not around the house, guests are always welcome to message me with questions. The upstairs bathroom is yours during your stay; I use the powder room downstairs and get a shower at the gym. The NeighborhoodMy neighborhood is very quiet. Honestly, just about everything in this town is quiet by 9 pm unless there's a festival or concert going on; even then, all is quiet by 11 pm due to the noise ordinance. This is a dog-friendly, family-friendly suburban neighborhood. There are a number of good restaurants in villages all over town; I prefer the family-owned ethnic restaurants, and am happy to share those secrets!
