Enjoy this 3 bedroom loft that sits lakeside on peaceful Shadow Lake in Concord, Vt and gives you a view of the lake from one end to the other and views of the White Mtns., NH. This loft has been remodeled from what was one of the original buildings on this secluded lake. It was once a carriage house originally built in 1907. We have completed the addition of a 3rd bedroom/game room and this also includes: air hockey game, dart board, games and puzzles. Relax while sitting on the deck which overlooks the lake. We have added skylites to our bedrooms-plenty of light! If you are looking for a good swimming area for young children--we have a gradual slope into the lake. Enjoy swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing. We will provide the canoe and two kayaks. We also have a private swimming raft. If you are interested we have a 16 foot pontoon boat for rental. Enjoy our outside stone fireplace for your evening campfires. You have accesss to our lakeside loft from either I-93 via Littleton, NH or I-91 via St Johnsbury, VT. We do accept pets--ask about our pet policy. The SpaceEnjoy relaxing at this 6 bedroom, 2900 square foot lodge on a dirt road in the countryside. The house is located on 12 acres of beautiful rolling green lawn and woods with apple trees and mountain views. Two large decks allow you to enjoy sunrise and sunset while sipping your coffee. The SpaceBeautiful mountain views. Horses, one cow, a few chickens, Australian Cattle dogs. Baby animals to help care for IN SEASON (currently there are none)! Chicken egg collection available at all times. This year the garden is defunct, but next year the garden will be back and you can harvest fresh vegetables in season for your meal. Guest AccessYou may freely walk anywhere on the property (128 acres) that is not fenced with animals. You may only walk in the animal pastures accompanied by us. Many of the pastures have electric fence, so we ask that you be very careful if reaching across to pet an animal. Interaction with GuestsIf we're around (we both work off the farm during the week), we are always happy to answer any questions and chat. If you prefer to be left alone, that is fine too. We have a guest book in the cottage with maps and tips on places to go - we are building this resource, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The NeighborhoodThere is a book in the cottage with recommended restaurants and places to go and things to do in the area. Other Things to NoteYou can book trail rides separately for up to four people over the age of 14 (children must be accompanied by a guardian). Please let us know when you book that you are interested. - Note - this activity is temporarily unavailable. In addition, in the winter, with advance notice, we can help you book a dog-sledding tour of the area with Mutt Mountain Kennels. You are welcome to use our washer and dryer for your laundry if you need it. We won't have our dogs out and running around - however, you will occasionally hear them barking. At this point we have one rooster - and yes, he does crow at the crack of dawn. It is not easy to hear him in the cottage, but fair warning!

The SpaceThis large, rustic cabin is located on 8 fairly secluded acres with beautiful views of The White Mountains. There are 2 lofted, open bedrooms upstairs each with full & twin sized beds. A deluxe air bed is available in the large open living area for additional sleeping needs. The kitchen is fully stocked with all basic essentials for cooking, along with a microwave & coffee pot. There's plenty of open space just outside the door for children (& grown-up children, too!!) to play and spread out. Bring your four-wheelers and snowmobiles!! The well-marked miles of VASA trails will keep you occupied and are accessible right from the driveway!! Interaction with GuestsWe own a place on Shadow Lake just about a half mile away and are available for as much (or as little!) guidance you might want or need! We've owned property in this area for close to 20 years and simply love the beauty it has to offer. We've spent numerous holidays and fun-filled long weekends with family and would love to offer suggestions so that you, too, will enjoy the Northeast Kingdom as much as we do!

Located on a private road in the rural Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, this secluded lake-front property has 2+ acres of land on Shadow Lake, a small and peaceful lake. Swim, boat, fish, hike, mountain bike, or just kick back and do nothing. The interior of the cabin is all wood finishes with an open kitchen, living, dining area.There is central heating as well as a gas fireplace/stove to enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped. All linens are provided. Wifi, satellite televison, dvd, book, and game collects provide entertainment for when you are not outside. Glass doors lead to a deck and outdoor dining table where you can look at the lake while listening to the loons. The large side lawn area has an outdoor fire pit, picnic table, room for lawn games, and a large swing for kids. A private 12' x 12' dock is on the water's edge. There is easy access to the lake next to the dock with a shallow, gradual lake bottom that is safe for small children. There is a large rowboat with an electric motor and two kayaks for you to use. In the winter, you can cross-country ski or snowmobile from the cabin. Several ski areas in Vermont and New Hampshire are a 30-40 minute drive away. Enjoy all that the Northeast Kingdom has to offer while staying at a cozy renovated schoolhouse. Updated with modern comforts including a large kitchen with breakfast nook and plenty of counter space, new appliances, and a dishwasher. Relax in the great room with conversation area, DISH TV, and DVD/VCR player. A large farm table seats 8 people comfortably. There is one bedroom downstairs with a double bed, and 2 bedrooms upstairs each with queen size beds. A full bath is located downstairs. There is also a washer and dryer, wood stove, and ping pong table in the basement level. The schoolhouse sits on an acre of wooded land and is bordered by a brook in the backyard. Horseback riding in summer and sleigh rides in winter are available at a farm down the road. In summer enjoy one of the many weekly farmer's markets, where local farmers, craftsmen and artisan sell their creations. Vermont's rural character provides a welcome relief from the hectic pace of life. Shopping: The closet town is Littleton, NH. Here you will find a Shaw's Supermarket, Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot, and TJMaxx. There are also several chain restaurants: The '99', Applebee's, McDonald's, Pizza Hut to name a few. Downtown Littleton has a variety of restaurants for all tastes and budgets. Browse local craft shops, boutiques, and the famous 'Chutter's' candy store: Home of the largest candy counter in the world! Further down route 93 is the quaint town of Franconia. Here you will find 'The Garnet Hill Outlet.' Next door is a wonderful cafe called Wendell's for great sandwiches and coffee drinks. Farmer's Markets: Vermont has many Farmer's markets. St. Johnsbury holds their's on Saturdays and Littleton has one on Sundays. There is often live music, a variety of produce, baked goods, crafts, and lunch items. A few notes...: Due to only one bathroom and a septic system, we like to keep groups to a maximum of 6 people. Anymore would be overwhelming for the septic system! Weather conditions can be treacherous in the winter. An AWD of 4WD vehicle is recommended. *We will consider allowing small dog(s) under 18 pounds with an additional $50 charge.

Property is located on Miles Pond, North Concord, Vermont. Relax by the water while watching the loons, ducks, beaver and occasional moose feeding in the pond. Fully furnished cottage: 1 bedroom with queen bed, 1 bedroom with double bed and one bedroom with bunk beds suitable for children only; living room with recliner-sofa and 2 chairs, flat screen TV with BlueRay/DVD player, no cable in the area and satellite does not work on our location so you only get PBS. Large screened-in porch the whole length of the cottage, with table and chairs as well as 2 rocking chairs, 2 lounge chairs. Kitchen as fridge/freezer, 4 ring electric stove, microwave, coffee machine and electric kettle. Double sink, but no dishwasher, plenty of pots and pans to cook and plenty of dishes, glasses and cups and cutlery. Some spices, salt and pepper, sugar, tea and some paper goods to start you off. Great location for outdoor activities :hiking, swimming, boating, fishing. Day trips to many attractions such as Santa's Village, Attitash, Canon Mountain, and more. Located between St-Johnsbury, VT and Littleton, NH where you will find many restaurants and shops and local attractions. You will find many brochures about the area and many restaurant menus.
