Our bed and breakfast accommodation is situated in the Tygervalley area (between Cape Town and Stellenbosch). We are an accredited member of Accommodation Cape Town North and provide quality linen, with the unit serviced daily. The spacious room, with a separate entrance leading onto the patio, garden and pool area, has a comfortable king size bed, tea and coffee facilities, microwave, a fridge with freezer, a full en-suite bathroom and separate dressing room, and lounge chairs to relax in. Breakfast is available on request - yoghurt and muesli, full english, juice and coffee, at R35 p.p. Amenities in the area: there are many restaurants to suit all tastes, movies, wine routes (Durbanville, Stellenbosch, and Paarl), a golf course, and Tygervalley and Willowbridge shopping malls. For the energetic, we are within walking distance to a mountain bike trail in the vineyards and Majik Forest. The apartment has a well equipped kitchenette and comfortable lounge / dining area. The bedroom is spacious and has an adjoining bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Guests also have use of a private little garden with barbeque / braai facilities. Guests have access to undercover parking behind security gate. From the apartment it is easy to access main roads to Cape Town as well as all the other beautiful places in and around us. Guests will be given a remote control to open / close the security gate. ( A completely refundable deposit of 500 ZAR is payable to secure the return of the gate's remote.) Getting AroundIt is vital for guests to have use of a car, as public transport is not easy or always safe to access. From the apartment it is really easy to visit all the attractions in the area. Public roads in SA are well developed and we drive on the left hand side of the road. To hire a car in SA you will need an international drivers license and a minimum of 5 years driving experience.

              The apartment is situated on ground level of the property. It has it's own parking area and it's own entrance area. There is an open plan area consisting of entrance/dining area as well as kitchen area. Has a full bathroom and two rooms comprising of bedroom with double bed and a lounge/Tv toom, which has a foldout couch and TV as well as internet connection. The apartment is suitable for 2 persons, but can accommodate up to 4 persons depending on the situation. It is not recommended to sleep 4 persons as a rule, but rather to seperate 2 persons or for smaller kids. The unit is compact in size. It is modern and kitted out with all the goodies and gadgets required for a self catering apartment. Minimum stay is 2 nights out of high season. Long weekends will not be split and need to be fully booked. High season bookings require a minimum 4 night stay. The apartment is located in an secluded green area, which has very easy access to all the main roads and high ways. Within 1 km you will find the Tygervalley Shopping Centre. A huge modern shopping centre, which is one of the most popular centres in and around Cape Town. Close by there is the Willowbridge Centre for more shops and restaurants. Something for everyone. Not far from here is Edward Street with a host of restaurants and clubs which are open till late at nights. For those that want to take a stroll for a drink or something to eat there is a beautiful spot just close by within walking distance of the unit. For the outdoor types Rosendal offers great security for nice walks and also has a dam within a few minutes from the apartment. The front of the apartment looks out on to a green park. Parking is no problem and there is a drive way just for the guests to park next to the apartment. Transportation is a bit more complicated if you are relying on public transport. There are busses/taxis available within walking distance, which can take you to the nearest train station if required.

                The SpaceThis modern apartment is on the first floor connected by outside stairs leading from the parking area reserved for our guests. Entering is via a small sheltered roof area. You will immediately realize the space and practical layout of the flat. The colour schemes are modern with silver, greys, whites and black. The bath room to the left is compact yet comfortable in size with all the modern fittings included. To the right of the entrance you will have space for your luggage and suit cases. The open plan area gives you a lovely kitchen with dining area. It has a huge built in barbeque/fire place for the meat lovers or the cold winter days. The kitchen has all the gadgets and dishes etc to cater for max 4 people. A 4 plate gas hob is fitted. Off the kitchen there is also a walk in cupboard for cleaning utensils etc. Then there is a bedroom with built in cupboards for 2 persons, as well as an area for a hair dryer and make up. Next to the bedroom there is the TV room with modern TV and sleeper couch. The flat is suitable for 2 people sharing. Should there be a child as well it could be using the couch, or in the case of two persons not sharing the one bed, the couch would also be suitable. Getting AroundGetting around would best be with your own rental vehicle! There are however some taxies and busses close by which go to the Bellville station, from where you would be able to take a train else where. Off street drive way parking is included in the rental. Getting from Cape Town International Airport to the flat will take around 30 minutes by car. To find the flat/apartment by car take the off ramp to Durbanville/Bellville. Durbanroad. Follow this road for about 2 km, and then turn right into Old Oak road. Cross the 1st traffic light and turn left into Melina Street (You will see the entrance has Rosendal displayed on it) Follow the road until you get to the 3 way stop. Then turn right and continue on Melina Street. The second right turn will be Flamingo Close. The flat is the first house on the left. You can park your vehicle on the left side drive way of the house. Other Things to NoteOnce a week the flat is cleaned by us at no extra costs, which include a change of bedding and towels. Although we clean the unit for free once a week, we reserve the right do deduct a fee from your deposit should the flat be left in an unacceptable state or if we need to fumigate as a result of bad smells. Any washing requested to be done by the guests can be done at Laundry places close by. At times we might also do the washing, but will charge a fee for the service.
