Guest AccessFor those without transport, we do offer a pick up and drop off service to Morisset Railway Station. We can also take guests to see the Morisset wild kangaroos. For our guests' enjoyment , we have several bikes and sit-on kayaks ready to be used. We have bike paths from our place to the local shopping centre and to the train station, you can also cycle to see large number of kangaroos nearby. The Watagan Mountains have wonderful walking trails to explore. For water enthusiasts, we offer use of our kayaks with delivery to water's edge, and personal instructions on how to use them. For those who are a bit hesitant and would like us to accompany them, this service is also provided. Interaction with GuestsWe live on site and we love interacting with our guests but also respect their privacy. The NeighborhoodMorisset / Bonnells Bay is a quiet locality. Our main attractions are beautiful Lake Macquarie for kayaking, Dora Creek for both fishing and kayaking, and the Morisset Kangaroos. We are also right at the doorstep of the beautiful Watagan Mountains with its many bush walking tracks. We also have unique dark brown wallabies on our own property although they are rather shy. Hunter Valley, Newcastle and Central Coast are all in easy driving distances from our cottage. Getting AroundWe are close to Morisset rail station which has regular train service to both Newcastle and Sydney.

    A perfect place to relax, spend time with nature and chill out. The main house has five beautiful bedrooms, a large fully equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms and a huge sitting and dining area. There is a large undercover BBQ and dining outdoor area to relax in. Surrounded by 50 acres of private bushland. Ideal for walks with lots of areas to explore. A swimming dam, barn for kids to play in or for adults to paint in and even an outside amenities block. The house has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are also three self contained apartments attached to the house, each with a double bed, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and living room. Total of 8 bedrooms. Earth Inspired Retreats is Solar Passive. It has been designed to be cool in Summer and warm in Winter. It is not conventionally air conditioned. We are on the edge of a national park so walks are endless, this is the place if you want to see kangaroos, wallabies, Goannas and echidnas.

Beautiful situation on a cul de sac lane without traffic,has manicured exterior gardens, luxurious inclusions, organic vegetable garden, chickens. Clear, uninterrupted starry night skies, Australian bird life including lyrebirds, butcher birds, finches, wombats, wallabies. One hour drive to Sydney mostly on freeway, 40 mins to major shopping centre. 50 mins to Hawkesbury river known for fantastic oysters and prawns. Well known location for cyclists, great Northern walk entry 1.5 kms. Yarramalong village has one store, great coffee, where you will meet the residents of one of Australia's most beautiful valleys.         Our beautiful French style apartment is located on the 2nd story or our home. It is sunny, roomy and very comfortable with all you need for a long or short stay. Guests have private access to the apartment and have sole use of it. We are situated central to Hunter Valley and the Central Coast and close to Lake Macquarie, Watagan Mountains, beaches and Avondale College. The apartment is tastefully decorated with all modern conveniences. It provides Wifi, ironing facilities, electric blanket, and warm gowns for your use. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, rice cooker, small electric oven, fry-pan, egg cooker, sandwich toaster etc. Breakfast is provided and consists of a selection of breakfast foods, eg. homemade bread, homemade muesli, homemade blackberry jam, and a selection of other cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, teas, coffee, eggs, bake beans etc in the apartment for guests to help themselves and enjoy at a time suitable to them. The apartment is within a 5 min walk of the shopping village. We are happy to interact with guests if and when they wish. Our overseas guests particularly enjoy hand feeding our local mob of kangaroos. There are platypus and wombats in our local creek but you do have to get up early to see them.         The SpaceGo to sleep to a chorus of frogs and awake to the sound of bellbirds. Private access to the room is through a courtyard with swimming pool. The room has a queen bed with a soft memory foam topper on a spring mattress. The ensuite bathroom is yours to enjoy in privacy, with dedicated gas hot water. The bedroom has a ceiling fan, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and heater for the cooler months. The Watagans National Parks with walks, creeks, waterfalls and bike trails await you for adventure. Lake Macquarie and surrounding towns are a short drive away. Guest AccessYou can enjoy the privacy of your own room, bathroom and an adjoining lounge with TV and DVD. The TV is internet enabled but we don't have television reception. Wifi is available. There is a microwave, bar fridge and kettle in the lounge - water in the bathroom but no actual cooking or washing up facilities. It's more like motel facilities - you can heat up a meal and have a cup of tea and basic breakfast. We supply crockery and cutlery. There are many places to eat within 10 minutes of us for a meal. The NeighborhoodWe are a few minutes from the Watagan's National Park, there are many walks, picnic areas, Lookouts, bike trails, creeks and waterfalls to explore. We are about 10 minutes from Dora Creek where you can launch a kayak and paddle down into Lake Macquarie. There are shops, a bakery and takeaway shop about 5 minutes away and the larger town of Morisset about 10 minutes away. For fabulous Italian try the Olde Bakehouse in Morisset. Getting AroundYou need a car or be keen to bike ride if you want to stay here with us. It is 4.2km from the end of our street to our house. The nearest shops and basic services (newsagent, chemist, post office) are 6km away. Morisset is the closest train station and there is a taxi rank there. They will deliver you out here and will pick you up. Other Things to NoteWe have two dogs. One is very old and deaf and just loves a pat (and maybe some of your sandwich if you're not paying attention). Our other dog is young and eager to please. Both are obedient and gentle. We have children, so the dogs are used to being around children.

            A perfect place to relax, spend time with nature and chill out. The main house has five beautiful bedrooms, a large fully equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms and a huge sitting and dining area. There is a large undercover BBQ and dining outdoor area to relax in. Surrounded by 50 acres of private bushland. Ideal for walks with lots of areas to explore. A swimming dam, barn for kids to play in or for adults to paint in and even an outside amenities block. The house has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are also three self contained apartments attached to the house, each with a double bed, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and living room. Total of 8 bedrooms. Earth Inspired Retreats is Solar Passive. It has been designed to be cool in Summer and warm in Winter. It is not conventionally air conditioned.

            Well appointed small cottage in excellent condition and sought after location, one hour north west from Sydney in very green picturesque valley with a mix of permanent residents and weekenders from Sydney. Beautiful situation on a cul de sac lane without traffic,has manicured exterior gardens, luxurious inclusions, organic vegetable garden, chickens. Clear, uninterrupted starry night skies, Australian bird life including lyrebirds, butcher birds, finches, wombats, wallabies. One hour drive to Sydney mostly on freeway, 40 mins to major shopping centre. 50 mins to Hawkesbury river known for fantastic oysters and prawns. Well known location for cyclists, great Northern walk entry 1.5 kms. Yarramalong village has one store, great coffee, where you will meet the residents of one of Australia's most beautiful valleys.               Our beautiful French style apartment is located on the 2nd story or our home. It is sunny, roomy and very comfortable with all you need for a long or short stay. Guests have private access to the apartment and have sole use of it. We are situated central to Hunter Valley and the Central Coast and close to Lake Macquarie, Watagan Mountains, beaches and Avondale College. The apartment is tastefully decorated with all modern conveniences. It provides Wifi, ironing facilities, electric blanket, and warm gowns for your use. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, rice cooker, small electric oven, fry-pan, egg cooker, sandwich toaster etc. Breakfast is provided and consists of a selection of breakfast foods, eg. homemade bread, homemade muesli, homemade blackberry jam, and a selection of other cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast, teas, coffee, eggs, bake beans etc in the apartment for guests to help themselves and enjoy at a time suitable to them. The apartment is within a 5 min walk of the shopping village. We are happy to interact with guests if and when they wish. Our overseas guests particularly enjoy hand feeding our local mob of kangaroos. There are platypus and wombats in our local creek but you do have to get up early to see them. Bird life is abundant in our area. We are situated about one and a half hours north of Sydney and approximately 8km from the M1 Motorway.

              The SpaceTHE HOUSE 'Willow Tree' is a beautiful federation house featuring high ceiling's, original fixtures, pressed metal detail and wooden floors. The house has accommodation for a total of 7 people. There are 2 Queen beds and 1 king bed, as well as a sofa bed in the front living area. The house includes two living areas and a large deck at the back of the property and a small porch at the front. Each bedroom includes a reverse cycle air condition. There are Televisions located in the both bedrooms with Queens Beds. There are a total of 4 televisions and 3 DVD players located in the house with a television & DVD player in each of the living areas which provides a sense of your own space. Extensive DVD collection including a wide variety of children's books and DVD's. Large combustion fireplace that keeps the house warm during winter. There is one large federation bathroom which includes a separate shower and freestanding claw bath. The home is on tank water so consideration using water is requested. FAMILIES The property is suitable for families with older children - the back deck includes lockable gates however please note the yard is NOT fenced. There is a large pond and a creek at the back of the property therefore children must be supervised at all times. Guest AccessThere is a carport with space for two cars in addition there is apply space on the driveway for 2 additional cars The large kitchen includes a microwave oven along with all the usual kitchen appliances and dishwasher. There are laundry facilities located in cottage shed located next to the house and includes both a washing machine and dryer. We will be available for you during your stay and will only be located a short distance away. The NeighborhoodWe are only 1 hour from Hornsby with an easy drive up the M1 this is the perfect weekend country retreat. The property is situated at the foot of the Watagan Forest. Cooranbong is only 2 minutes away with Morisset (which has both Coles and Woolworths) 7 minutes away. Only 1/2 hour from the Hunter valley for wine tasting. Newcastle foreshore is approximately a 40 minutes drive. For those attending weddings at Greenfield Farm estate, we are only located 7 minutes away. Getting AroundIt is necessary to have your own car there is no public transport here. Other Things to NoteThere is a landline in the house and wireless internet. Mobile coverage can be limited some days and is limited inside the house.

We are close to bush walking trails and to the Swing Bridge. The Watagan Mountains and beautiful Lake Macquarie are nearby and Avondale College is within walking distance. To get to Cooranbong it is a short drive (approximately 15 minutes) from Mandalong turn left onto Mandalong Road and head towards Morisset, then in 2.6 km turn left onto Deaves Road, and follow the signs to Cooranbong. The master bedroom has French doors leading to the deck that overlooks the picturesque grounds and creek. The loft bedroom is accessed by a spiral staircase and is intimate and cosy with a queen size bed and ensuite. Belle Grove Cottage is unique with its huge recycled wharf timbers.
