The SpaceThe yurt is a very cozy little space and is beautiful inside with its traditional Mongolian hand-painted wood beams. It is suitable for all seasons and is equipped with a small woodstove for heating. The yurt will be toasty and warm upon arrival. The yurt is fully furnished with a double bed and futon, which can be used as a sitting area or additional bed option. There is also a small table with chairs and shelving for storage. A private outdoor compost toilet is situated right next to the yurt. The yurt is equipped with basic kitchen necessities such as plates, cups, cutlery, pots and a kettle. There is a BBQ and outdoor fire pit for cooking and the woodstove inside the yurt is like a hot plate. We provide large jugs of water from our natural spring for drinking and washing. Natural lighting comes from the 'tunnel' at the top of the yurt. However, it is a good idea to bring a lantern, flashlights or headlamps for additional lighting at night time. Outdoors there is a large fire pit area and a screened in gazebo for the summer months. Guest AccessGuests can experience a variety of outdoor activities for every season right from the door step. In the winter months, guests can enjoy our extensive groomed trail system for cross-country skiing or explore our many designated trails for snowshoeing. For an adrenaline ride, guests can slide down our tubing runs or enjoy tobogganing on a groomed sliding hill. For a new adventure – guests are welcome to try out kicksledding. At the end of the day, guests can relax and unwind with a hot cup of cocoa by the fire or enjoy a hot sauna. In the spring, summer and fall, there are plenty of trails for hiking or biking and infinite spaces for exploring. If you enjoy the water – guests can enjoy swimming, canoeing, stand-up paddling or floating in a tube on the beautiful and serene Bang’s Bay, an inlet off the Ottawa River. In the right season, there is an abundance of wild raspberries, blueberries and blackberries for picking. The autumn is spectacular with the ever-changing colours and incredible viewpoints overlooking the Laurentian Mountains. The canoes, paddle boat, stand-up paddle boards and tubes are available free for our guests to use. Cross-country skis, snowshoes and kicksleds are available for rent. Interaction with GuestsWe live on the same property. However, the yurt is set in its own remote and private location. We will be available to greet our guests and provide an orientation of the yurt. We will also be available for any assistance during your stay. We are very personable and enjoy interacting with our guests. However, we like to leave it up to our guests to decide how much interaction they are interested in. The NeighborhoodWe are situated on 485 acres and are surrounded mainly by crown land. There is no sound or light pollution. It is tranquil other than the sounds of nature and the stars at night will take your breath away. It is a true wilderness setting. Our home is completely off-the-grid and we produce all our energy from solar and wind power. As our guest, it is our mission to provide you with an opportunity to slow down, connect with nature and enjoy life’s simple pleasures while demonstrating the values of a sustainable lifestyle. Getting AroundThe yurt is accessible by car in the spring, summer and fall. However, it is a very short hike in for the winter months only (approximately 5-10 minutes by foot from the parking area). Please note that we would be available to help transport all your gear into the yurt or we can provide sleds so guests can pull their own gear in if they choose to. Other Things to NoteWith regards to bedding - we typically provide the bottom sheets, pillows and pillow covers. Guests need to bring their own comforters/sleeping bags. If you are traveling and don't have any bedding - please let us know and we can arrange to provide complete bedding.

The SpaceThe open living space provides a warm and inviting change of pace from all the outdoors activities you will be enjoying. There is a fully equipped galley kitchen and the dining area seats six. The lovely deck faces the lake, and you can relax here in the morning with coffee or in the evening after dinner. Two bedrooms are located off the living room. The first has a queen bed and the second has a set of single bunk beds. Between the two bedrooms there is a four-piece bathroom. Closer to the waterfront there is a spacious bunkie with a double bed and a wood burning fireplace. The yard is large and sloping to the waterfront with several places for setting up lawn chairs and relaxing while enjoying the view of the lake. The lake is quiet and there are not a lot of motorboats constantly whizzing by, giving a sense of peacefulness. There is approximately 200 feet of shoreline. The water at the end of the 20' dock is about five feet deep. The dock has sun nearly all day. There is a paddleboat, canoe and kayak for you to explore the lake or fish. If you are bringing your own motor boat, there is a boat house where you can keep it when not in use. A fire-pit located by the water is great for roasting marshmallows and watching for shooting stars. Lake Nosbonsing is a scenic and popular fishing spot that is located near Lake Nipissing. It's situated south of North Bay in Ontario, and it is the result of the glacial outflow from the Great Lakes. Lake Nosbonsing is an angler's paradise, and it offers so many fishing opportunities without the challenges of the big water. Guests have full private use of the entire cottage including water-sport equipment: 1 kayak, 1 canoe and 1 paddle-boat. Corbeil/Astorville are both small rural communities. The SpaceThe open concept living room, dining room and kitchen allows everyone to feel they are part of the action. The living room, with a great view of the lake, has seating for the entire family to watch a movie, or play one of the many board games available. The kitchen is fully equipped, making meal preparation and clean up easy. The cottage has three bedrooms, two with queen beds, and the third with a double bed and a set of single bunk beds. Down the hall is a two-piece bathroom that also offers a dryer for your swimsuits and towels at the end of a fun-packed day. There is also a three-piece bathroom that can easily be accessed from inside the cottage or the deck; this is great as sand is not tracked through the entire cottage. The deck can be accessed through sliding glass doors in the living room. This is a great spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, or an evening cocktail. A fire-pit located by the water is great for roasting marshmallows and watching for shooting stars. A paddle-boat and two kayaks are provided for exploring the lake or fishing. Lake Nosbonsing is believed to offer some of the best fishing in Northern Ontario with muskie, pickerel, perch, pike and bass all plentiful. Behind the cottage is a sandy volleyball court that can also be used for badminton. Near the court is a table with seating for four so you can watch the action, read a book, or work on one of the many puzzles available. The SpaceOur unique glamping site offers a fully-furnished canvas tent on a raised platform in its own secluded wilderness setting. The glamping tent is equipped with beds, couch, table and shelves for storage. The site also has a large deck with a screened in gazebo and Muskoka chairs to lounge in. There is an outdoor fire pit area with benches and composting toilet next to the site. Our outdoor eco-showers are located close to the main lodge. The glamping site can accommodate 4-6 people. Nature’s Harmony Eco-lodge is situated on 485 acres, overlooking the Laurentian Mountains, and is surrounded by an abundance of nature and wildlife. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the trail system at Nature's Harmony and activities for all seasons. Hiking, biking, swimming and canoeing in the summer months and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, kicksledding and tube tobogganing in the winter months. A hot sauna is also available in all seasons.

The SpaceAre you looking for an artist's/naturalist's getaway where you can enjoy great fishing and boating as well as wonderful views? This rustic log cabin was built years ago from logs taken from the lake. The cabin is all one room with a fridge, stove and microwave in the kitchen area. There is a table and chairs to seat four. The living room area has a chair and futon which will fold out into a double bed for sleeping. Heating, if necessary, is provided by a wood stove. The exposure is eastern and the property gets the sun for nearly all day. The slope to the water is rock and halfway down there is a cleared area for the firepit, and then you continue on to the dock. There is 200 feet of frontage. A paddleboat and canoe are provided for your enjoyment of the lake. The water is about four feet at the end of the dock. You can access the lake for swimming from the stairs on the dock. Comforter and pillows are provided but we ask that guests please supply their own bed linens, bath and kitchen towels. Lake Nosbonsing is famous for its plentiful fishing and the artist/photographer will get some stunning views without even leaving the property. Interaction with GuestsOur home is not far from the cottage property so we are available if required for assistance and for emergencies. Otherwise, we respect guests privacy. The SpaceThe Ma'ayan Chalet is spacious and can comfortably accommodate 2 to 12 people. There is a large bedroom on the main floor and an open concept loft that can be arranged to meet your family or group requirements. There is also an open concept kitchen, dining and living room area and a table that is large enough to seat a group of 12. The chalet is completely self-sufficient, complete with two solar panels to provide basic electricity and there is a compost toilet inside. The chalet is equipped with all the basic kitchen necessities - propane fridge, propane stove, and all the supplies needed for cooking, cleaning and serving. The chalet is heated with a wood-stove and all the wood for heating is provided. The cabin will be warm and cozy upon arrival. There is no running water in the cabin. Winter is the coziest time of year- terribly romantic and charming:) You'll love the warmth of the wood stove inside the yurt. Our WINTER YURT experience is truly a unique one with many exciting and interesting activities to participate in. If you are a photographer, painter, blogger or nature lover...this is the season for you! You will find yourself buried in warmth under sheets of untouched snow. If you are interested in hiking we have several trail options for you! We have a combined 10 km of trails on site, taking you through woods, along the river, across fields of horses,cattle and bison. The EAU CLAIRE Gorge is located minutes from the farm and is a beautiful site at any time of the year. The water that falls over its face is flowing from Algonquin Park via the Amable Du Fond river which is the same river that the yurt sits on. Definitely worth checking out. Maybe you want to just cozy up inside with a book and apple cider, board game, crafts or lay in bed and watch the clouds pass through the skylight. There is a wood stove that will keep you nice and warm throughout your fall season stay. You can make all kinds of fun WINTER treats on the wood stove including Warm apple cider, Hot chocolate, Herbal Teas etc! We supply wood for both the campfire and wood stove. There is no electricity so anything you want to cook will be done on the campfire or wood stove. Get creative! This can be really fun. For this, we ask for a minimum contribution of $30 per hour for the first person and $15 per hour for each additional adult, kids are free. Our 2 bedroom cottage (sleeps 6) first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom a single set of bunk beds. There is also a double futon in the livingroom. We also have a 1 bedroom cottage (sleeps 5) with a double bed single bunk on top. Also a high end double futon in the living room. Upon request there is an additional trailer site available for rent to accommodate more family or guests. Cottages are set back 20 feet from waters edge with 30 foot docks, 8 x 24 foot decks, firepit and volley ball area. Recently renovated, affordable for the average family who enjoys lakeside activities and most of all exceptionally clean. ($700.00 per week Saturday to Saturday) (Monday to Thursday $120.00/night 2 night min.) (Friday to Sunday $160.00/night 2 night min.). Fishing Boat packages are available - inquire for pricing. Cottages are equipped with heat, newly renovated kitchen, cook stove, refrigerator, large propane barbecue and patio table with umbrella. Indoor washroom and new shower. Cooking utensils include kettle, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes and cutlery. Pillows, blankets and linens will be provided. Please bring your own towels and personal items. Discounted pricing is available from May 16 to June 20th and for the month of September. June 20th to August 29th is our high season rentals and pricing is firm. In the event you are delayed, make yourself at home. The cottage will be unlocked for your arrival and we will see you later that evening or the next day for check in. The NeighborhoodOur neighbourhood has the best of both worlds. On the lakeside, beautiful sunrises, tranquil scenery, fishing, water sports, campfires and the peaceful atmosphere of cottage life. In this small community everything you need is within 5 minutes. Groceries, with butcher and Agency store combined. Country Style coffee, Restaurant, convenience store and gas station within walking distance. Just down the road a public beach and boat launch available. With only being 20 minutes from North Bay, you can still get your City fix. Getting AroundCity transit is not available and parking availability is not an issue. Other Things to NoteOur water is drawn from the lake like 90% of the other cottages on Lake Nosbonsing. We provide bottled drinking and cooking water. The 2 cottages share 1 paddleboat and 1 canoe with life jackets and safety equipment provided. Please ask for more details before venturing out onto the waterway. We also provide enough wood for your first camp fire unless a fire ban is in effect. Unfortunately the price of firewood in Northern Ontario is expensive, thus we can sell you more wood as required for a small charge which covers the equipment and labour to cut and split the wood.
