Large Home 100 steps to the best beach in Perth. Set in a land mark cottesloe street is our beautiful character home. Our Family has lived here for 20 years and the house has evolved in that time. It is home to two grown up children who come and go ,and a cat and dog. We have a lovely separate wing that we use for guests which is self contained. It has a large North Facing loft air-conditioned bedroom with TV ,a queen bed and ensuite bathroom, you have your own large super comfy lounge room with another TV and Apple computer and desk. The lounge has french doors that open on to a private courtyard with a lovely water feature. There is a Mini fridge ,microwave , and kettle plus glasses and crockery. We are surrounded by fabulous restaurants and cafes a two minute walk away. Cottesloe beach is 100 meters away. You have your own access through the rear lane way .

Guest AccessGuests initially enter through our front door, however the guest wing has its own private access via the rear .you may come and go as you would in your own (URL HIDDEN) will also have full use of a lovely lounge room with desk and TV..This is for your private use.The lounge has french doors opening on to a beautiful sunny water featured court yard. We do not provide meals as we are surrounded by great cafés.we have provided a mini fridge ,microwave ,cutlery, crockery and kettle so that you can have meals in . Interaction with GuestsWe love our guests to be independent ,but in saying this we are great hosts and are only to happy to help with any travel arrangements and advice. The NeighborhoodCottesloe is one of Perths most beautiful beaches,and we are lucky enough to live 100 meters away. we can enjoy early swims as well as picturesque sunsets. We have several choices for great coffees and fab restaurants and cafes. All on our street corner. There is gourmet food shops for take home meals. For the active guests we have Bikes, Stand up paddle board and plenty of gyms and yoga classes within walking distance. The SpaceRetro is the at the rear of a group of 3 private villas, with parking at the backdoor off a rear lane way that leads down to the beach. The property has a unique beach holiday ambience. The main bedroom has a very comfortable Queen size bed with ensuite bathroom and toilet. There is sofa in the back room that folds out to a comfortable double bed for additional family members and a single foldout bed in the lounge room suitable for kids. Guest AccessThe property includes all basic amenities including crockery/cutlery for 4, cooking utensils, wine and champagne glasses, microwave, gas oven/cook top, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee maker, gas bbq, bed linen, bath towels, beach towels, hair dryer, washing machine, ironing board, cot and high chair available on request. There are 2 x adult bicycles with optional child seats (under 3) and a 3rd bike for 6-10 year olds, snorkelling gear, umbrella, beach chairs available on a first come basis. Interaction with GuestsEach villa is completely separate, my wife and I live in the front villa and are keen to help in any way we can, but happy to leave you as you please. The NeighborhoodCottesloe is one of the best located swimming beaches in Western Australia with great walks, local bars, lots of restaurants, local supermarket and takeaway options just up the road. Getting AroundWe have free bikes available or the nearest train station is just 10 minutes walk where you can travel to Claremont, Subiaco and Perth City in one direction or go explore the port City of Fremantle the other way. Also a local bus on our street goes directly to Perth. Other Things to NoteThe famous Cottesloe main beach is about 10 minutes walk south, otherwise our local beach has a great swimming and snorkelling spot just 5 minutes away. The SpaceUpstairs apartment of modern Cottesloe house in quiet cul de sac within walking distance to the beach and to the many restaurants and cafes. Tastefully furnished and fully equipped 3 bedroomr 1 bathroom, kitchen, laundry,living room, and outside balcony with barbeque. There is free internet and air conditioning throughout. The house is close to trains and buses and therefore easily accessible to both the vibrant Fremantle area and the City. Cottesloe has many beautiful parks, beaches and great restaurants and cafes, some of which overlook the ocean. You will never be short of something to do with the newly completed Claremont shopping centre which has an abundance of shops for all your needs together with excellent cafes and restaurants. This accommodation is homely and friendly yet in an area that is in very close in proximity to both the vibrancy of the restaurants and shops to the tranquility of the magnificent Swan River and the Ocean. You can enjoy a leisurely walk to the beach and have a refreshing swim and then enjoy a scrumptious breakfast or lunch or dinner at one of many great restaurants, cafes and hotels. The house is "shared" as we live downstairs. However it is totally private with a separate entrance. My husband and I are either out, at work or down at our property in the South West and therefore more often than not you have the house to yourself. However when we are home we are very mindful of your privacy and "peace" but available at any time if required. Guest AccessAccess through a separate front door up the stairs. Andrews Place is on a cul de sac and is therefore quiet, with very little traffic. There is a lovely very private park at the end of the cul de sac which has play equipment for children. We are happy to recommend our favourite restaurants and cafes and give you a general overview of Perth and the attractions if required Getting AroundThere is a train Station and bus stops within walking distance of the house.

Enjoy the beautiful views from the sunroom, and ocean glimpses from the bedroom and living area in this child friendly space. Guest AccessThe recently renovated kitchen contains all the cutlery, crockery and cookware you will need to cook your own meals. Extra appliances such as a blender and toasted sandwich press are also included for your convenience, as well as a coffee press and complimentary ground coffee. A tap filter will provide you with filtered drinking water. Natural, eco-friendly cleaning products are used throughout the apartment. There is a washing machine in the kitchen, and complimentary washing powder for all your washing needs. A clothes airer is provided, or there are communal washing lines and dryers. The en-suite bedroom overlooks the sunroom, and features a queen size bed. The apartment can sleep up to 3 adults as there is a single mattress available on request, for a third adult or child. A portable cot is also available on request. The bathroom, in it's unique and original form, is old, however very clean and functional. Watch this space as we are planning a renovation to take place shortly. The apartment features a spacious living and dining area, digital TV with all free to air channels and high speed wifi internet throughout the apartment. Also Bosch washing machine and dryer. The lounge has a TV, coffee tables and fireplace. Cable TV and wireless internet are available. The apartment occupies the entire top floor of the house and offers an idyllic respite whilst being close to the beach, local cafes and shops. Guest AccessThe whole apartment is yours! Guests are welcome to spend time in the garden and use the outdoor table and chairs. Interaction with GuestsWhere possible we will greet you on arrival otherwise alternative arrangements for the key will be made. We like to say Hello at some time during your stay as that is part of the fun! The SpaceThis beachside gem is only for the over 50's ( see below for deal). The holiday flat is separate and private in a genuine older style beach house with traditional polished timber floors. You will love the quiet location, read our very happy reviews from overseas and Aust guests, happy to avoid listing agents. We the owners are on site. Ideal for those who enjoy brisk walks, the ocean, and fresh air. Enjoy a nearby shady park with ocean vistas, great for our sunsets ! Location is one street back from a pristine white sand, turquoise ocean swimming beach. Because it's residential, you sleep only to the soft sounds of breaking waves. The area is amongst the most sort after addresses. A short walk along the ocean front brings you to cafes, restaurants, take aways, shops and a golf course. There are 4 beaches to choose from with differing facilities. Nearby Broome Street is a very wide avenue of majestic pines, quite unique to this grand old suburb. Attached to our home, this holiday flat has it's own private off street entrance. Space consists of entrance lounge/ dining adjoining a small fully equipped kitchen. A separate studio bedroom has a queen size double bed. This room also has a table and chairs by the windows to enjoy the attractive outlook towards the ocean. There are small glimpses between neighbouring houses to the sea. A spare fold up bed is in the lounge. Both a duvet and cellular blankets are provided. The small bathroom has a full size bath with flexible shower head. Please note that we only cater for guests where at least one is in their 50's or more (max 2 guests). 1 EXTRA NIGHT FREE April to Oct inclusive (when paying for 4 or more nights), notify Chris direct when booking through Airbnb. The NeighborhoodSituated almost halfway between Perth City and the historic port of Fremantle, Cottesloe is a unique suburb on the most beautiful beaches with clear waters and the whitest sand imaginable. There are many attractive walks along streets of tall Norfolk Pines, also not too distant Swan River (2 km), and Civic Centre gardens. The ocean changes constantly on this coast, with a welcome sea breeze in Summer. You may have heard of 'The Fremantle Doctor' ? Getting AroundThe suburb is very well served by an efficient transport system. Around the corner from our street, buses run along Grant Street to Perth on a 30 minute daylight frequency, also connecting with modern electric trains to Perth and Fremantle. The route passes UWA and runs alongside the Swan River into Perth. Cottesloe and Claremont train stations are on the 102 bus route for connections. The Grant St train station is a 12 to 15 minute walk, (Daisie's coffee half way) trains every 15 minutes during the day. 30 minute frequency at night. While having lived in many parts, we are both natives of Cottesloe and love to share our knowledge of the area. Sorry but we cannot accommodate children.     The SpaceMixing the new modern with the old turn of the century: Our place is an turn of the century terrace home with high ceilings in the bedrooms and through-out the original part of the home. The back of the house is modern with a breakfast island in addition to the dining room table. The new, open kitchen flows very nicely accommodating many for entertaining. A courtyard with all the amenities is located just off the kitchen for those warm days of having a barbecue and eating outside. Our guests will have complete access to the entire house and no one else will be on the premises. We do not interact with the guests physically at all as it's a keyless entry into the home. The house awaits your arrival to begin your holiday. We are available via text and email only.
