    3 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath duplex on 10 acres, located 20-30 minutes by car from both Jay Peak and Burke Mountain and also from the Canadian border. We also are only a few hundred feet from the VAST snowmobile trail system and can ride right from the door of the house to the trail on your snowmobile (with plenty of room for trailer parking). We have beautiful views of the Willoughby Gap from the deck on the upper level. Lake Willoughby, Lake Memphremagog and Lake Crystal are all within a 20-30 minute drive as well. The Kingdom Trails hiking/biking trails are also only about 30 minutes away. Two bedrooms on the first level sleep 4-5 in bunk beds (one with a futon) and queen size beds. The master bedroom has a king size bed. There is one sofa-bed and a cot. A porta-crib and queen size air mattress can be provided upon request. You must provide your own linens (bed sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, etc) for your stay.       The SpaceNorthern Vermont is an excellent place to explore the outdoors. Or even sit inside on those cold nights and watch the snowfall! Atv trials and snowmachine trails are accessible from property! It also has plenty of room for parking your toys! Guest AccessGuest have full Access to the home. The NeighborhoodThe property has only 3 neighbors and they are amazing! One even fixes atv's and snowmachines! So just in case something happens maybe you can contact him! Also the neighborhood is close to town as well as access to trails from the property! Getting AroundParking for any trailers or multi vehicles can go in front of the left garage bay but please leave the right bay accessible. also there is normal parking for vehicles in the front of the house. So pretty much as much parking as you need! Other Things to NoteWe provide all the bed sheets, pillows, dishes, and bathroom accessories! Pretty much show up and relax!       Have breakfast on the deck and take in the picturesque views of Mt Pisgah and Barton Mountain. One of Vermont's most scenic areas, great during all of the seasons, in the Spring enjoy Sugaring Season with local producers, in the Summer relax on the beach of any of the numerous all natural fresh water lakes or enjoy some of the best boating and fishing. Whether it's on Lake Willoughby, Seymore Lake or the Majestic Lake Memphremagog that meanders over 33 miles into Canada, it doesn't get better then the Lake Region. For land lovers there's Great Golfing & Hiking Trails. Experience breath taking Foliage in the Fall. The Winter is a haven for all cold weather activities, 3 ski areas, Jay Peak, Burke, Stowe, snowmobile trails in the back yard, ice fishing, just to mention a few. Nice Restaurants. About the Northeast Kingdom: The Northeast Kingdom is where Vermonters go to pay homage to the wilderness. Long views of distant mountains, the haunting beauty of Lake Willoughby and the area's dark deep forests frame frontier towns and villages of resilient character and surprising qualities. The Kingdom represents almost one-fifth of the state, and has over 200 lakes and ponds. The Northeast Kingdom was baptized such in 1949 by U.S. Senator George Aiken in remarks praising its beauty. In addition to it being paradise to beach goers, boaters, hikers, campers, fishermen and snowmobilers, it is home to Kingdom Trails, supposedly rated as one of the top five mountain biking networks in the world. There are 123 towns and villages in the Kingdom Golf Courses: In the Summer for Golf lovers there are three courses close by. Barton Golf Course, Orleans Country Club and Newport Country Club. The Barton Golf Course is great for beginners who want an affordable day of golf. The Orleans Country Club is open to the public, Orleans Country Club was established in 1928 and for over 80 years has been one of the most popular places to play golf in Orleans County. There reputation boasts a friendly social atmosphere, manicured golf course and competitive rates. The Club House has a casual dining room. The Restaurant is open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The Newport Country Club also is open to the public. This 18-hole par 72 golf course is home to members and guest. The views looking up Lake Memphremagog into Canada are worth taking a golfing pause. There is a Restaurant and a Pub, which serves Lunch and Dinner. The restaurant offers casual and gourmet meals at affordable prices. Ski Areas: The Northeast Kingdom offers two ski areas, each are about 30 minutes from the house. Jay Peak & Burke Mountain. Jay Peak sits on the Vermont-Canada border, and the view from its summit takes in Lake Champlain, Lake Memphremagog, and Camel's Hump, the tallest peak in the Green Mountains. A tram takes visitors to the top not only during ski season but in summer and foliage season as well. Alpine skiing is spectacular, and the most reliable natural snow in the state makes the area a favorite for cross country skiers. And, there are plenty of trails for hiking and mountain biking during the warmer months. Burke Mountain, a year-round resort area offering everything from Downhill Skiing to Mountain Biking, Golf and Kayaking during the warmer months

      FULLY RESTORED 12 ROOM FARMHOUSE BUILT IN 1855 for rent. The house has 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, and is located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. With the VAST snowmobile trail system easily accessible from the property and both Jay Peak and Burke Mountain about 20 miles away, this house is the perfect destination for winter enthusiasts. Jay Peak’s indoor water park is also open year round for those who would like a break from winter activities. Winter is not the only season full of fun and adventurous activities in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. The summer season brings activities like hiking and mountain biking, as well as kayaking, fishing, swimming, and golfing. Hike some of the numerous and beautiful nearby mountains, or bike the Kingdom Trails system in the Burke area. Kayak, fish, or swim in Lake Memphremagog, Crystal Lake, or Lake Willoughby. All are nearby. You can also fish the Black River from the back yard. Not far away, Jay Peak Resort is home to an 18-hole championship golf course, in addition to an ice arena, tram rides, and as previously mentioned, an indoor waterpark. There are many restaurants nearby, and the house is just a short distance from the Newport area. The house is also on a well-traveled road just 5 miles from I-91, so roads are well taken care of in the winter. It is just over 3 hours from Boston, under 6 hours from New York City, and 2 hours from Montreal. We supply all linens, towels, and everything you'll need in the kitchen. * 5 bedrooms -- 2 with queen beds, 1 with queen and single, 1 with a double bed, 1 with a single bed * living room, dining room, well equipped eat-in kitchen with table and breakfast bar * closet space * washer/dryer and dishwasher * flat screen satellite HD TV * Cell coverage * farmers porch and large deck * playing field for outdoor games We have a two-night minimum but much prefer to rent by the week or month.
